Do you want to know an honest opinion? If you have to ask this question, then please DO NOT CREATE a coin. It's just going to be another one of the thousands of other shitcoins that are just copycats and have no new features. The crypto world does not need such coins. And if you need a coin for a certain use case, then create a colored coin / token on ecosystems like Ethereum, Waves, Neo or others. That makes much more sense.

Hi, i see you are young, welcome to crypto.
My advice is start learning with coins and then move to smart contracts, because there is no future with coins, and you can do amazing things with a smart contract.

To clone a coin the process is simple, just create an account on Github and clone any of the projects, there are many types of coins, many mining algorithms, so choose one im particular, one that you like and clone it, then change the name, max supply, block time, etc.
compile the new wallets and start to mine it, once you get the genesis block you will be the Satoshi of your own coin, give wallets to your friends and learn.

Soon after you master shitcoining move fast to smart contracts, DEFI .....

There are a lot of service that give to you the opportunity to create your own crypto but the question is why? Only for try? Is it a game for you? Because a coin without a project behind it's only a wasting time and they can think that you want only scam

Maybe you can look at this guide, it's old but maybe it can help you out start your project of ours.

*** Complete Guide on How to Create a New Alt Coin – Update 2018 *** (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3345808.0).

Anyway, you are still very young, I would understand if you're really curious on how to create a coin specially that it seems you are into programming, but it doesn't mean that you have to get yourself a coin or token, study and learn the everything first. Goodluck in your journey.

Most likely this will gonna happen if he planned to sell his coins without some plans and road maps to consider how he can do something with his created coins. But if he just wants to make a coin for some personal studies, he can always do what he wants. To the OP, even if you have some people with you who help you to create this coin, if you don't have a back up from some big companies or some famous people in this industry, your coins will also added to those shit coins like this man said. so you better create a token instead because that will give you less expense even if your project fails, the damage is not that much.

An idea can sometimes create wonders and change lives! So, i won't say you should dump the thought, but you are still young, i would advise you to educate yourself first, create better awareness, and before going ahead, understand if this is really what you want to do, then ask for specific support.

If this coin just for educational purpose only it will acceptable, nothing wrong with your question, maybe this guide will help you *** Complete Guide on How to Create a New Alt Coin – Update 2018 *** (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3345808.0). Don't use this tutorial to scamming people or spreading any malicious programs.

We can't blaming any question like this, we don't know what he wants. Maybe he want to be a coin maker for his career in the future, like you say, he is very young, but maybe he have a passion to build a coin for educational purpose.

yes its not yet possible for you unless you have a background in coding and blockchain development.

The only possible  way I think that will work is hired a blockchain developer that make you one.base on what you want  and of course you need money for this and I don't have idea how much developer asking for creating a coins. Its much easier if you are just creating a tokens instead of coins  since there are many dev that  can help you with that matter and have many tutorial already in Google to learn.

I mean, if he asks how to create a coin, he certainly doesn't have the skills to develop it technically. Neither will he find someone to develop the coin without having a lot of money to pay a good developer. Even if he has a cool roadmap the value of the coin is and will be zero. And coins with SHA256 algorithm are a dime a dozen.

If you do not know how to make your own coin, maybe you should not make your own coin? I mean sure you probably have all these great ideas and all that but in reality we do not really need any new coins at all, most of them turn out to be nothing good anyway and that means biggest possibility is your own coin will not be something good neither, not because anything is wrong with you but that is what happens with almost all coins.

If you really want to make one for funny reasons and just to have fun or even just to learn how to make one in order to build your portfolio and to be better at development and so forth for a future job prospect you can definitely do that, however if you have any economical mindset for this I would highly suggest you do not do this at all.

Making your own coins without capital is still not possible because it requires large funds to develop it, especially in skills in blockchain and also the technicians that we have to impress there, we need a great team to do it if only a beginner and want to make coins then better not because it's a waste of time.

Guys, the op is just 14 yrs old, he's probably just doing this to have fun and learn so don't take it seriously.

just like the op said "he's just 14 yrs old" so of course its not possible for him to have a large fund ;D so don't make things complicated you can just direct him to other thread where he would learn what he's asking.

I don't know if this would help you since i have no knowledge to this kind of stuff, but you can look at this:

Hi mate, you may need to look here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134256.0
But there are many coins in cryptocurrency already, you won't change anything if you just create a coin without something on it.
You need a big team to promote the coin and compete with other existing coins in cryptocurrency.

Making an altcoin is not easy. You have to spend many bucks for you to be able to make your own coin. You should stand with your own project and hire some people as your staffs to create such coin. Making coin is spending much more to have one. Because cryptocurrency is not an easy money scheme.

Do you want an honest opinion? That is making a coin is really a hard thing especially if you have a goal of making it big with it. You need to convince many people, and I mean a great deal of people to invest on your project. You also need to keep the price of the coin stable or face problems losing the coin immediately due to lack of investors. Also if you are cash straped then you need to be aware that exchanges and most of them ask for payment for your coin or token to be added. I suggest you try to weigh in your options.

It would be better if you hire some professionals that creating coins to order. They create few coins daily so I bet that they know more about how to create a successful coins. The price is around 1000-2000USD on Fiverr for creating a toke, whitepaper, lightpaper and website. Isn´t it a smarter way? :)

LOL , That is true , I hope he is not one of those teenage boys who is designing website with WordPress and with a smart contract poll the rug of new plebs!
It has been so easy to make a token recently and publish it on uniswap that is incredible!

What's your main purpose for it? if it's just a project which you can add to your portfolio when you enter the corporate, I find it no problem.
But if you're making it for the sake of the thought that you can become rich and millionaire through the creation of this coin on your mind, better focus improving your programming skill than with this.

Do you think it is still feasible to become rich and famous just by creating a coin? I don't think one can emulate the roadmaps that were established with the top coins like bitcoin or ethereum. Unless one is a genius at giving something new to the investors and you have the initial capital to setup the project then by all means create the coin and see if that would prosper. But that takes time for a coin to be prosperous. Come think of it when did Bitcoin took off? It was many years from the time it was first created.

I highly recommend that you create your token on Tron platform and Waves platform it's cheaper on Waves you can create your token for only 1 Wave there's so much work creating a coin and mining it when there is a lot of option using the token creation platform like Tron and Waves, Ethereum is not recommended now because of the very high fee.

I haven't yet  trying to create my own coin. I don't know what is the procedure  making a coin. May be learning to others way of process is apparently good. The professionals, or even the moderators can can do these by helping the supporters.

Now there are many thirds parties that provide services to help us make our own coins. But my advice is to stop your desire to make
your crypto coins, because there must be a clear use of the coin you want to make. Do not let add to the shitcoins that are already
circulating so much today. The existing coins that you make become scams and harm others.

On Tron and Waves you can create a wallet within minutes if you choose Ethereum you must know how to code and it's much harder when you are creating a coin using a Bitcoin derivatives, many developers are using Ethereum, Tron and Waves for their project because it's cost effective.

I personally do not really understand the field of programming, but I often see on YouTube channels or other sites that show how to make ICO projects as well as project coins. but my advice better not, if you plan to develop the project alone, I mean it will only add to the list of new shitcoins in this cryptoqurrency market.

What exactly do you wanna backup with your coin or token, because you just don't create coin without a purpose.

Making coins or tokens are not quite difficult if you have mastered the programming language, but in this case the main problem is after you create the coin or token later, because the main problem is how you can develop the token / coin so that it can be accepted by the community crypto because not a few people make tokens or coins but do not have a clear mission and vision in developing their token / coin so that in the end the coin has no meaning or value at all, and you will waste your time.

you can follow suggestions from @Jating...
If you only intend to make coins without marketing them I think it's useless, better form a team and market your coins, but don't expect a lot of your coins will be in demand because currently there are thousands of coins in circulation and almost half are shitcoin.
