Title: Re: [BIG LIST] Ethereum Wallets
Post by: Bttzed03 on September 22, 2020, 07:03:02 AM
Please add to the list:

Equal Web Wallet (https://equal.tech/)
- support Ethereum, Binance, and Zilliqa blockchains
- I tried connecting to Uniswap and it works too. It's not on the official list of wallets but just select "metamask" and you'll be connected.

Ownr Wallet (https://ownrwallet.com/)
- supports multiple cryptocurrencies including eth
- Available for desktop (windows, mac, linux) and mobile (android/ios),

Mycelium (Android) also supports Ethereum too https://medium.com/token-suisse/mycelium-wallet-to-support-eth-2e18829dabd9

I don't know if you should really include freewallet.org on that list. There are plenty of accusations against them for withholding funds and forcing users to undergo KYC verification.

~
Well, exactly, yesterday I was trying to remember what campaign on the forum took place with a wallet that accepts ETH, and it turned out to be OWNR.

Thank you, I will add.  :)
No problem.

In case you missed my edit

MEW don't have a desktop version ???

I found links only to mobile applications and the ability to create a wallet on the site.

What? KYC is a very common procedure nowadays and I see no reason for blaming Freewallet for taking care of their users.

The compilation for 21 ETH explorers can support your thread information. Have a list of ETH wallets, then choose one or a few good wallets to use are first steps. The next steps are doing transactions, and after than of course checking transaction and wallet details with block explorers.

(Compilation) What is the best Ethereum explorer? (Poll added!!!) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153067.0)

Lot of new wallets to me in the list so its quite interesting to get such information but not every wallet is really good to use, one of such is cryptonator even in our bitcointalk lot of threads regarding their selective scams and lot of people completely lost their deposits for no reasons and there is no explanation from the support team about their loss.So better to add one more column which says about their trust level or something like that is quite appreciated.

Ukrainian project Trustee Wallet also supports ETH network... I use it myself in a mobile application and I am quite satisfied with it! ;)

Nice list, I'm Still using ImToken and Myetherwallet (MewConnect) For about 2 Years right now, Really satisfied with that. Also maybe you can add Wallet From Pundi X? XWallet, They Supporting various Asset Like Ethereum, BNB, Dai, NEM, BTC, etc. It was have good feature too, It was integrated with telegram chat and NFC Card Things (Not really know about this one), Back then we can claim Free Bitcoin and Function X For every 24 Hours.

With this list we can easily guess why ethereum is the most adopted and used network and due to large userbase there is room for more wallet services in the market.
I think next wave of walletd will be the advanced ones with most of the services offered from within the wallet and i am waiting for such a wallet.

I'm not sure what "Hardware Wallet" column is intended for, but MEW surely supports hardware wallets.
I'd also like to see a comments column with a few words on some wallets, at least.
I'm not much into ETH and since I don't really know any other ETH wallet (yes, I know, I didn't do my homework), I've used only MEW (with or without hardware wallet).

More Wallets:

1. Crypto.com (https://crypto.com/en/defi/wallet/) - Mobile (android, ios)
2. Flare wallet (https://flarewallet.io/) - Mobile (android, ios); Desktop (windows, mac, debian, ubuntu); Web (coming soon)
3. Sparkpoint (https://sparkpoint.io/) - Mobile (android)
4. MYKEY Lab (https://mykey.org/) - Mobile (android, ios)
5. Nash (https://nash.io/) - Mobile (android, ios)
6. Swipe (https://www.swipe.io/#wallet) - Mobile (android, ios)

~ I'd also like to see a comments column with a few words on some wallets, at least.
~ Do small reviews of all wallets did not become, as the theme is not about reviews of wallets. If you need a guide and functionality, the Internet is full of these articles about almost every wallet.
Perhaps another column to indicate a wallet is custodial or non-custodial would be good enough?

Others might want to see if code is open source or not but I don't think many care about that when it comes to ethereum wallets.

Wow a lot of the wallets that you have mentioned here are still new to me and I have not heard about them before. Only a few of them that I know about, I guess it’s because they are very popular; like Coinbase, Blockchain, Coinomi, Dapper, Cryptopay, Enjin, eToro, Exodus, Jaxx, MyEtherWallet, Opera, Trezor, and Trust wallet; the others are something new to me.

Among these ones I mentioned here that I know very well, I have not used Coinomi, Dapper, Cryptopay, and eToro, I just know about them. As for Opera, I don’t think it’s been that long that they introduced a crypto wallet feature on their web browser. Then Jaxx, I didn’t like the Jaxx because the interface wasn’t that good for me, same thing with Exodus. Coinbase, Trezor, and Blockchain are my favorite on this list.

The fact that MEW supports a hardware wallet does not make MEW a hardware wallet.

I know that much, just the title was not clear enough ... I said from start I'm not sure I understand that column. Of 2 possilibilties I've picked the wrong one.

Yep, these would be nice additions. And I'd add a column "supports HW" (since I expect most of them don't support that, even if maybe they're not custodial).

Mate, this is a very useful information for beginner in cryptocurrency who wants to choose their Ethereum wallet, i appreciate your efforts.
Among the list, metamask is im using the most all the time, i was using myetherwallet first then metamask later.
There are many eth wallets already, but the security are not the same. The safest wallet to use for me is the desktop wallet, but need to download the blockchain to the pc.

I updated the theme and added new wallets that you sent me. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277419.msg55241794#msg55241794 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277419.msg55241794#msg55241794)

I didn't expect the theme to receive such a response from the community and in a few days the list was added to 25% and a total of 121 wallets, where you can store ETH.

Separately, I want to thank the users who helped to add to the list:

- Bttzed03
- Cadaver20
- dhemasm
- 3meek

Another interesting multicurrency VITE wallet, with built-in DEX exchange! I used it and traded on the exchange, everything is very easy to use...
I advise you to add this wallet to the list, too...
