The trend of decentralized crypto margin trading platforms is coming?

We already have some platforms who offer margin trading like poloniex.

https://poloniex.com/marginTrading#btc_eth

but i have never listened about a decentralized sevice for margin trading, i think that's complex because some one need to put the bank roll to let the users runs with profit.

I don't think decentralized Margin trading will ever be popular otherwise we would be having a ton of such popular exchanges already. Look at the current situation and ask yourself why decentralized spot exchanges haven't been a traders' favorites with the exception of Uniswap due to the recent DeFi hype?

Most decentralized exchanges are unregulated unlike their centralized counterparts and therefore they tend not to attract so many traders with the exception of those looking to trade worthless tokens through them. Liquidity is very important in Margin trading and if there are not enough traders to provide it then the trading experience won't be good at all.

I didn't even think about that, but i guess that could be technically possible now when we have DeFi. But i would see that all kinds of market manipulation could happen without any oversight. I am not saying that it doesn't happen already but at least they are trying to regulate cex.

Margin trading on decentralized market probably won't work and not it gives traders an interest rather than to use it in a centralized market.
Traders had already known the risks that might this Margin Trading will results.

Have to see this https://www.firstrade.com/content/en-us/education/margin/marginrisks. It is much better not to use it instead.

BTW, I was puzzled with your topic. It is Margin Trading on Centralized? or on Decentralized market as stated at OP.

It will possibly be a popular in due time. Since deFi are on hype, investors are riding in the trend thus decentralized margin trading are also hyping. One example is that  ddex platform (https://ddex.io).

Been using bitmex and binance for margin trading. But that defi margjn trading platform hooked me. Ive traded there once and I can say it is a smooth experience. If this one continue to be chosen by margin traders, not long that it will be famous, too.
