Title: Releasing new NFCT collection! Post by: Vod on September 22, 2020, 09:31:07 PM A NFCT is a non-fungible crypto token. Regular NFTs have attributes with no provable relation to reality. For example: Strength: 10 is just a made up number. NFCT use cryptobutes instead - attributes that have a traceable, provable life. For example: Merit: 10 is based on a recorded list of merit transactions.
Club Crypto will be releasing a NFCT based on bitcointalk.org stats, and develop an ongoing web game to use them. We are hoping for a partnership with BPIP.org. While the game is a WIP, I'm thinking of something that does not have permanent superiority. For example: A Vod card would win any war in a recognition game, and a Minerjones card would win in a game involving the trust cryptobute. Instead, I'd like those stats to mix with others to give advantages based on different scenarios. (Example a weekly winner based on what they did during that week). Is this going to be on some blockchain or not? Title: Re: Releasing new NFCT collection! Post by: CoinSmash on September 27, 2020, 11:43:37 AM A NFCT is a non-fungible crypto token. Really interesting concept.. can I ask something that might be ultra obvious and simple: what are the advantages to users to get these NFTs and also what are the advantages to yourself/crypto club for developing them? It's a genuine question and your insight would be appreciated Vod.Club Crypto will be releasing a NFCT based on bitcointalk.org stats, and develop an ongoing web game to use them. Title: Re: Releasing new NFCT collection! Post by: Mbitr on September 27, 2020, 01:10:22 PM To be honest you can do anything with NFTs , the only limitation is your imagination :)
A few ideas - 1. Have NFTs that you collect/ buy but have a ‘ closing date ‘ - ie, you can get them but they only last 1week/month etc and then are burned. 2. Like example above , but have an ‘opening date’ , ie, you can buy them but can’t use them until a certain date. 3. Have surprise NFTs , ie, you can buy/ collect them but you don’t know what they are until you ‘open ‘ them. These ‘surprise NFTs’ can be traded , ie, take a chance on what you are going to get ? 4. NFTs can maybe get burned and upgraded- free or cost . These are just a few ideas that can help game play ? Hope this helps a bit. It may be worth taking to some folks who develop NFT trading games , don’t know if there’s any of these folk on the forum? |
