Hello , I'm a investor and i have invested more than 15 projects before and got profits from 12 projects. one of my friend helped me to invest for these projects .. actually he sent me the project link ..But i have never seen him yet ...
 
yesterday he sent me following project link .. But this time I'm little bit nervous because i want to invest a big amount for this time.. (still not decided to invest for this project)

The answer is very simple, if you are in doubt then don't invest in large amounts or you can also avoid the project, if I personally feel doubt because there is no team information and I also didn't find whitepaper

Personally i am staying away from new projects that are using y or yearn with them because most of them are copy projects and using y or yearn to get attention and most of them look scammy and suspicious to me because they are anonymous projects without even a proper whitepaper.
Regarding the project you mentioned i would suggest careful due diligence before investing and even if you get 1% negative vibe do not invest.

When it comes to defi platform token investment, you have to be shrewd with your capital, the hype is definitely all around, and you must do proper research.

Another gambling project like ycrab, it's only a copy-paste project to the Y family coins. Please, you should DYOR. The only chance for you to be the early adopters and then sell it at the early pump but this coin is a super high risk coin with very small chance return for the adopters.

Only a few Y coins can get pumps and then the rest will die to the zero value. If im yours and then it will try to only invest in the legit project.

You should also need to be careful with your money. It sounds like strange based on your story.

I will not give any advice but the OP should know that most of these Y copy-cat projects are just here to scam naive users. They are just riding the hype of this Y popularity in the market. But only few of them will stand out and remain in the market. Most of them will die very soon. So do your own due diligence and not depend on someone else's piece of advice.

Well it always depend on you or in youre own understanding about the project that you wanted to invest, if you invested in projects you need to search about it. Beause there are so many projects that is really scam and some project will turn into shit project in a long run so be careful everyone.

It's good thing that he can suggest you a good project to invest however telling you that you need to invest large amount I think is too much . Its your choice actually. There are lots of projects going out right now. But if you want a safe investment then only go to the good projects that are listed already on good markets. I know that some of these new ones are just scam projects so better to be careful. This one you posted is sound same concept but just a new one. So take your time to review throwing money is not wise to a unproven project that just release.

Agree with you, I saw several projects in the bounty section using almost similar names, even some of these projects do not have ANN in this forum, they have not released a whitepaper. In my opinion they use Yearn and so on maybe because it is one of the most searched keywords investors in DeFi projects.

Be wary of teams that post cartoon anomies on their websites, usually hide their identities from being discovered, and do your research properly, don't be influenced by friends' suggestions if you suspect it.

I am not sure if this is a legitimate project because usually like this will lead to scamer and there is no other reason for you to choose this anonymous team.

Well, if you have had a good ROI from 12 of your 15 investments, you are doing great, but your "luck" could turn for 180 degrees pretty quickly if you are participating in the yield farming craze, this project that you mentioned indeed looks like one of the many yi fi clones, so be prepared to potentially go from hero to zero.

This project seems like a joke to me do check the team profile, will you invest in a profile showing pig's faces who would you run if you invest all your money here, we do not even know if these people are real developers, or they are just good in designing and posting promises in their home page, the risk here is very high.

Yearn finance fork tokens will leave you with nothing but pains and regret. Believe me when I said so, there are other alternatives project to invest in. So many anonymous team and project that raise for fund with our whitepaper, no transparence roadmap.

Judging by your story, you appear to be a great investor, because of the 15 projects you invested in and 12 were successful. Regarding the project that you mentioned, I don't really understand it, or it looks like the project is a kind of DEFI project. but if you plan to invest then do it, because it's your right. however I personally recommend not to invest all your funds in this project. maybe 20% better than what you have allocated.

If truely you have carry out your own personal research concerning the new project you friend is introducing you to.

Some times not all new project  are good for profit making while some are for future purpose,. Before investing your altcoin you need to observe the area of the market if that is the right time to invest them or not so that you will not loose your money.

But anyway, I will recommend you to visit their website and take a look on their whitepaper, its partneship and more useful data like development team. In short have your own research.
As I visit their web the information of the team was anonymous, only their name was shown, even their phot was just animated. If I were you don't waste your time on this one there are lot of projects that is better than that.

Yes its true, in my case i do asked some advices to my friends that was also a traders like mine but of course at the end of the day the decision is up to mine also. I do also check the project background and whitepaper on my own and the advices and own opinion of my friends just give me some tips on regarding on the project that im opt to join. But in terms of new project i dont think so if i will not join easily i would still check it first before i woul decide completely.

YES, we have to realize before making some stupid decision, unless it will ends up crying. Since investment is not a joke, we must aware the risk and other side effects. Smarter thing is to sell and buy the dip, not just contributing some random project, specially when there is no team and roadmap.

You made profit from like around 90% of the projects you invested on. I think you just got really lucky with your investment. About 95% of the project that pop are fake and people investing money over there loses everything eventually.
Never heard of the project that you mentioned. If you are in doubt don't invest. What is more weird is that a friend that you have never met is trying to help you make profit. I have a bad feeling about this. Your unknown "friend" might want to try to scam you after gaining your trust. Be careful.

What's the setup here, will you the one who will invest or will you give your money in your "friend" so he can invest it, it should be you who will invest at the same time who will monitor. It's hard to trust anyone now so better learn how to trade as well how to read charts once it listed so you'll know when to sell or to stop loss when it seems going to dump in price. I don't invest a lot in new projects especially in new DeFi but I do read in some groups that they were able to earn thru short term but it's quite risky to do so.

There are currently quite a few such sketchy projects and all are labeled as scams. I have checked their official website and have no team info and no roadmap. Such a project is too shady and I don't see its future. It's risky if you want to all in on a shady project like this.
My advice is not to invest in it now. you are also skeptical, so investing will only make you more tired.

1. The website is really meh, looks like they are copied some website templates from the internet since there are some missing features on that website such as logo and navbar.
2. The team is anonymous and they are using cartoon images as their profile picutre. You should not believe any of these projects whose using these cartoon images.

He made a good decision to ask the forum about the legitimacy of this project and hopefully OP follows the advice of many and didn’t fall as a victim of a scam project. Before we invest make sure that you know what is the product of that project and you should also know the team behind this, always do your own research and if you still doubt ask this forum about it or better no to invest at all.

It will be a high risks if you just invest your big amount of money into something that you are still in doubt. Better to look for another legit project that deserves your investment. Investing in such projects really brings risk but if you keep in making DYOR before making up your final decision, the risk will be lessen. This sounded fishy mate, maybe we have to verify first before deciding to make engagement to their  project. Though some websites have problems like the beta versions, but not to extent that there's a blocking of access. If they wanted to become trusted, everything should be fixed and become more transparent to people which could be potential patronizers.

Better to study the project first specially if you put big money in here. but you've said that you made a profit from the 12 projects you invested in before that means you really study the projects and you are consider as pro investor. But if you have any doubts about this one, do not continue, there are many other legit projects around just dig deeply and you'll find the hidden gems projects.

If you have done invested many times in the projects you choose, and if it has good results in your finances you can stick to those projects. So if you are doubting about tje project your friends proposing it is all up to you to follow. I just checked the website and the image that you have provided also shows up so, it means this project already turns out to be a sh*t. And even their Twitter account now does not exist anymore. And OP, always do your research about certain projects and don't always rely on what your friend suggested especially this project that he sent to you. You can only ask for people's opinions about a project, asking them if you should invest is wrong, you should do your own  research on projects and if you don't know how just learn it, this project website isn't working and the Twitter profile is down too, I'm guessing this is a scam DeFi project like many other.

Why do you invest based on other people and your friends? you should analyze more about the project that you will invest in. If you are unsure about the project, you should leave and look for a new project suitable for investment. One thing you have to do is, don't invest all your money. if you want to take a very big risk, then go ahead.

I think we should alway go with our minds... because ones im not totally sure about a project or my mind is bot going with it I usually just back out to avoid heartbreaks ... i can find the white paper for the project and i don’t really see a good team. So my advise to u is even if you are going to invest just invest what you can afford to lose

It's risky asking people unless they are also investors who are going to invest in that project, when it comes to investing a large amount and since you invest in already 12 projects and have made a profit, then you know how to look at a project what to look on a project and how to make out of it, I consider you a pro why ask now, trust in yourself you have come so far.

Current defi projects should not be invested.  Defi project is a good concept.  But the price is much higher than it should be.  You have to invest in these coins at a certain time and exit with profit.  You wanted to invest that coin.  Pick up defi coins.  I don't think there will be any profit by investing in it.
