It was on 1st January 2020 that I achieved Hero rank and just shy of 10 months after that I made it to Legendary rank. I also hit a mark of 11,000 posts too.

A special thanks to LoyceV for the final flurry of merits which took me to the 1000 merit mark a short while ago. And a thank you to all that merited any of my posts and to all those that gave me a pat on the proverbial back as well as those that gave me constructive criticism throughout my journey. I took most if not all of it on-board.

Some time ago I consciously decided to post in others boards and take a step back from posting in the Scam Accusations, just occasionally posting about scams but I do intend to get back towards trying to help expose more scams and scammers and hope to stay active in Scam Accusations board again in the future.

Ladies and gentlemen it really has been a fantastic ride with all the ups and downs since I joined here as JollyGood in May 2017. I would go so far as to say it has been a wonderful learning experience for me. I hope you all have an equally if not more enjoyable ride within this great community focused fantastic forum called "BitcoinTalk".

Congratulations @jollygood this new rank is well deserved by you. Another inductee to the legendary rank club, what of note here is patient, you might have gotten last reach of merit to reach a thousand but before then, there wasn't any bad blood, to get those last merit to become legendary.

I first noticed your account @JollyGood in the gambling discussion sub board and your account seemed kind of unique with your peculiar colorful eye catching signature avatar worn which I haven't really seen on anyone else.
I want to congratulate you specifically on your memorable and special day in the forum and history of the merit system as to have finally upped the legendary member rank. Congrats.

I have taken much motivation from the tireless and selfless work by so many in this forum. Thank you for the kind words, I hope to start listing new scams and being actively doing so before the end of the year is out.


Welcome to the forum and thank you for the post. We all start off as newbies (unless people are purchasing accounts) but with a bit of patience, perseverance and guidance from other members you will soon be on your way to your first ranking.

Thank you for your support. I really needed to take a step back from the scam related threads but hope to be posting back there soon. You yourself have worked hard to expose many scams and your deserve credit for doing so, thank you for helping by exposing scams and scammers in the forum.


Thank you, I am glad you noticed the signature warning of scams in the gambling discussion board. I had been posting there and have been active there a lot recently discussing boxing and football.

I wanted to get to Legendary status without having a signature campaign but a few months ago I had my eye on just one signature campaign - I was not selected. Now that I achieved Legendary status without an avatar or signature payment, I think I will probably try to find a signature campaign that I feel is morally correct to join. I already refused to join some people that offered avatar payments because I felt it was inappropriate for me to promote them for reasons I feel unfair to disclose here but after over 11,000+ posts I think I have warned people about various scams and should replace the signature with a campaign that brings a little money in too.


What can I say? You were from a small group of established DT members that backed me and trusted me when I started posting about scams when I was relatively new here in mid-2017 so many thanks to you for the support you gave back in my early days here, it was really appreciated  ;)


Without doubt yes you can get there and rank up step by step. I did it, others did and you can do it too. Slowly but surely your next rank up is around the corner.

Oh I think that multiple alt-account operating scammer hacker1001101001 will not be able to resist himself and will post here making a complete fool of himself more than he has done in the past but it would be about him being obsessed rather than him being obedient.

Thank you for the support, there in no next milestone rather just to keep posting and trying to contribute to the forum but after achieving Legendary rank and 10,000+ posts. I guess I already achieved far more than I had thought I would when I signed up in 2017.

Keep up the scam busting operations like you have done since a long time and take your time going through scam reports before doing the FlagNTag. The sound of the troll is just an indicator that you are doing a work that is having an impact and thus should boost you to do it more often.

Yes trolls find a way to troll, it is part of their persona and nothing much can be about them other than add them to ignore. I will probably move this to the Reputation board too. Have to give credit to marlboroza for digging out all that evidence against hacker1001101001 and yes you caught him off-guard with your words that frightened him off the thread too. Hopefully he will return using all his fake accounts to apologise to the forum then we will see if he will behave himself or not. That link about the Bun was so funny  ;D


A troll hiding behind a newbie account rather than post using his real username. I added this troll to my ignore list and distrust list.

New achievement always create memorable moments which work like fuel to contribute more. You have done your best by working tirelessly against scammers and new rank is the reward for all your honest work. After the implementation of new merit system only few users reach this milestone and its always special when someone reach in this position with earned merit.

Well it needs to be maintained because the reports about fraud are so many so with your previous work it is very good for Jolly to have published it on the forum for Scam accusations.
This work awakens a lot of people who don't know what Jolly did before, so it will be very beneficial for us all.

Thank you Raflesia, I will try to keep posting in my Scam Alert thread from time to time to keep it relevant so it might help protect people or at least could work as a reference point.

Congratulations JollyGood, it is a dream of mine to become a Legendary Member. Maybe I got to the forum too late after the merit system was introduced though. You can be proud of your achievements, continue the good work :)
