I’m curious why you started the auction at 0 BTC when there is a reserve. Why not start at the gold spot price? Or perhaps, since that can fluctuate due to BTC and gold price changes, perhaps simply have the auction bids be in addition to the gold spot price (ie a bid of .001 is added to the gold spot price at the end).

Hi,

If you mean “bidding” and not “betting”. I did. I got outbid.

Best regards.

I didn’t forget. This is bitcointalk and the terms state bids are based in BTC. It’s not necessary to add that at the end. Good job on outbidding yourself...bro.

Edit: Sorry FFrankie, I’m not sure why rainbowsky/alamjob is continuing engaging with me. I just had asked a simple question. Asked to you and not him, and yet he continues to troll me. Good luck with your auction.

tothemoonsands - I think you misunderstood me completely. You are 100% correct in terms of "This is bitcointalk and the terms state bids are based in BTC.".  Also, I understand you did not forget to add BTC at the end of .002 and I will take your word on your trust rating. That is fine with me as long it is fine with everyone. The reason I mentioned that nothing to pin point you, rather it is for all of us. We are trying to keep a format for all bidding in all auctions. That is why there are several threads just for how to perform buying and selling. Just to make it keep it clean I overbid myself meaning that since I  made response to your comment  in the auction thread, I wanted to be fare with seller - that is why I increased it - and that is my decision. Everything we are doing here is our own decisions from buyers' perspective which has to be performed professionally and honestly. It is better if we all keep the same format and consistent. That is all. If I make any mistake you should always inform me so that I can correct.

Some interested parties in auctions like to post on auction threads so it is added to their watchlist or new posts to thread feature

Gold and btc both change so I figured this was the easiest

Me either, I am going to close this auction and relist it with a higher opening bid and no reserve.
