Will BTC ever drop under $10,000 ever again?
It is volatile.
The answer is that it might be. This time we have a price that we can conclude to be bullish for bitcoin. Half from the all time high. While some alts went through their all time high by this year, who knows maybe, if bitcoin will go to another all time high anytime soon.

No one can predict it BTC will go down to 4 digits. Price manipulation is still there, so we shouldn't be confident that we can stay above $10k, specially if whales decided to flex their muscle and manipulate the price and pull it down again. So everything is still possible.

Another scenario is that this is a bullish indicator, as we are on track of having its best second quarter.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/at-10-600-bitcoin-price-is-on-track-for-its-second-best-quarter-ever

So we might be on the road on breaking our previous all time high and setting a new one in the next coming months, 2021 perhaps.

With comparison to the rest of the market what we've been experiencing with bitcoin is simply the best. It has got good stability, but the manipulation by the Whales will be there forever. Somehow the panic wave should not arise, because out of panic there'll be big crash making opportunity for the whales. As said the even with Market manipulation there is no big drop in the value for a long. This way it is possible to reach a new ath by the start or mid of the year 2020. No surprise even if it happens by end of 2020 :o

Very likely yes, we are in a bit bearish market now, and we're not that far from 4-digit territory, so we can go there in a matter of minutes, if a sudden crash will come. I don't think that the fact was above X level for Y days really means anything - people though that prices below $4,000 won't be seen ever again when the market was bullish in the beggining of this year, and then the coronavirus crash came.

Bitcoin staying above $10,000 is definitely great and makes it seem a lot more solid, but let's not think that because of this fact that it's going to be impossible for bitcoin to drop below $10,000. This could just give a lot more confidence for people to actually buy and hold bitcoin, but it definitely doesn't mean that people couldn't dump it to oblivion. Let's not forget that emotion is still a huge factor when it comes to pricing bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies in general.

there is no interesting about Bitcoin staying at $10,000 instead this is something we must be thankful, the 5 digits value has been
denied from us almost the whole 2019( not until september) and this is why i believe that this value is much better than dropping constantly.

and besides we can also see that Bitcoin value is trying to break 11k again though it is getting hard because the Defi projects is restricting this to happen, after pandemic now this Shitcoin hype is what bringing the coins lowering.

Will Bitcoin drop under $10k again? Yes, of course, because the bitcoin price fluctuates. If you follow the bitcoin journey, you will see that bitcoin prices have volatility, and the price will always up and down. You can see bitcoin price can increase today, but tomorrow, bitcoin price can decrease, and that will be like that. But I guess many people like those situations because they can try to buy bitcoin when the price is down, and they can sell it when the price is up. That can be their way of making a profit from bitcoin.

We can hope that bitcoin prices can still increase more than just the price now, which will happen in the future. Even if we don't know when it will happen, we don't have to worry because bitcoin prices will increase at the right time.

Sure. Just like how a lot of people have been saying in 2018 that "bitcoin will not go back down $5000". But what did we get? A Drop back down to $3000 levels. It helps a lot to not be absurdly bullish in this industry. :P

The fact Bitcoin have managed to stay above 10k for two months is very interesting.
Probably it is a signal that its volatility is decreasing a bit, even though, I would not be surprised if dropped again. It is still a volatile asset but hopefully it will become less and less volatile as its acceptation grows.

it helps more to know when to be bullish and when to be bearish in this industry!
2018 was the year after the big ass bubble so it was the bursting year and just like when nobody can predict where the highest price of a bubble is going to be (ie. predicting $20k) nobody can ever predict when the lowest price of a reverse-bubble is going to be (ie. predicting $3k) and both of them are unrealistic and unnatural prices and just like a bubble they both burst with the difference that reverse bubbles could take longer to burst.
i'd argue that those talking about bottom (like the $5k you mentioned) were talking about value not price even if they didn't know it.

1.Bitcoin will drop under 10,000 USD again for sure.We just don't know when it will happen.
2.Where are the "young investors and crypto enthusiasts"?I don't see them.Maybe there are a few new investors here and there, but that doesn't lead to a "snowball" effect, driving the cryptocurrency adoption even further. There's no impact over the Bitcoin price as well.
The assumptions about an army of new investors and crypto enthusiasts joining the crypto world are just wishful thinking without any facts.

OP should move this topic to Speculation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0). Cause anything related to bitcoin price belongs to that subforum.

Your topic is pretty reletaed to this one Bitcoin Sets Record 63 Straight Days Closing Above $10,000 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278805.0)
If bitcoin price stay above 10k usd range for more days, it's better to discuss there rather than creating new topic after every few days.

Let's have a look at the price chart during this time. Bitcoin was going to drop under 10k at the first week of September. Actually it dropped below 10k for a while but the closing price of the day was above it. So we can ignore the fact. And I think bitcoin price will drop under 10k usd in future for sure, maybe sooner or later.

If the price didn't go below $10K after the news of Trump and Ivanka catching Covid-19 then it going to stay above the price mark, there was a temporary dump when the news filtered out however its seem the price had started picking up, some spot, forex  pair also experienced a fall in the price that shows the strength of fundamentals news with regards to price movement and volatility.

I'm not really about the $10k price though, I believed that we still need another crash and then bounce back, and from then on it will be another bullish run for the market. So I still have that idea inside my head, so making me a bit cautious at the current price movement. If I'm wrong then good, at least I'm not that kind of person who think that we are going to be on the bullish side every time we hit a good price and it this case, $10k for the past 66 days.

The price of Bitcoins tbh is very much unpredictable.
If the Price increases, then it's only due to the demand of the Coin.
If the demand will be less, then gradually the price too decrease.
But deep in our heart, we all are waiting for the moment when BTC will again hit 20k USD like the 2018 December thing.
Let's Hope for the best.

Maybe bitcoin will drop below $10k again, but that will not happen for a long time because, after that, the price will be back to up to $10k. But there is a possibility that bitcoin price will reach below $10k, especially if many people sell their bitcoin because of panic. We hope that moment will happen, and even if that happens, bitcoin still strong to lift the price again. But if we see the price now, the dump comes again at the market, making the price down for more. These situations do not just happen to bitcoin, but many altcoins have the same thing, so that we might see another bear trend this weekend.

News has always influenced the price movement of bitcoin. I think, now the price was falling due to accusations against BitMEX. The CFTC has filed a lawsuit against BitMEX and its owners, accusing them of illegally doing business in the United States and violating KYC and AML rules.

This is unpredictable. But you can assume for your own reference, like, if the time comes that the price drop below $10,000 for sure people will sell their coins, while big investors still remain holding theirs, beginners surely panic of the little drop off, but it is normal to feel that way, which is cause of a little by little decreasing of its value. But bitcoin is strong enough to crash down.

I am glad to see the price is stable but we can't say anything since its volatile.
Its been 3 months and the price is still above $10k which can be considered as a good sign of growing bitcoins.
It's giving confidence to a new investor but it doesn't mean they put all their money into it.
Volatile means anything can happen anytime. We all can hope that the price will increase more in the future.

The current price of Bitcoin is well in relation to the price we observed at the beginning of the pandemic. Although it has had a setback I am optimistic that we are in a bullish race. The best expression about Bitcoin is that its price is unpredictable. Bitcoiners have a long experience of its behavior which makes them strong and consistent with their support.

This article is quite interesting, it's true that since the end of July until now Bitcoin has always been above the price of $ 10,000.
This proves that Bitcoin's performance in two months is very stable, this is what makes some new investors start to be interested
in investing in Bitcoin. Especially if Bitcoin at the end of this year is able to return to a price of $ 12,000. I'm sure more and more
investors will decide to buy Bitcoin. Based on my analysis, the Bitcoin price will no longer fall below $ 10,000. Because Bitcoin price
support at $ 10,200 is very strong.

That is the highest price for bitcoin to reach in the future. We don't know when bitcoin price can touch that price, especially the bitcoin price is still below $15k. But who knows, our dream to see bitcoin price will be at that price in the future, we will have much money, especially for people who own many bitcoin in their wallet. So before the bitcoin price increases, we should buy more and more bitcoin, but we always need to calculate and manage how much money we should invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin price still stable until now, and it doesn't give much moving at a price. But the time will come for bitcoin price to increase.

When we went above 10k in 2017 I believed that a drop to 10k would already be big and there would be no need to fall lower, so of course it's possible to go lower as Bitcoin depends on the world economies, stocks, fiat currencies, politics... One thing is certain, the lows are getting higher. While last year 3k was the low, this year the price seems to hold 5k pretty good. There was a small spike below but it was the result of low liquidity on exchanges. I feel like at this point if anything goes wrong we'll still bounce back from 5 or 6k. Next year you can expect even higher lows.

The price of $10,000 is not stagnant. Bitcoin is volatile and can move in any direction. Don't be surprise if it goes far beyond $10,000, is just the way sometimes.

I could really see Bitcoin reaching $1,000,000 eventually, usage will only keep growing.

It is not that this is impossible to happen but it depends on the time that you have for it which is lacking in your post because you didn't provide it.

What we know is that the price of bitcoin is not that easy to predict. With the attention it is getting from some time now, I don't think it would fall under $10K now, I don't even think that we might be seeing another 4-digit price this year. The price is still pushing above $10K, earlier we can't go above $12K, right now the price is also sliding down at $11K, but still, I don't think it will be under $10K/

Well, that's the point. No one knows what will happen in the future, and bitcoin being somewhat "stable" and not dropping below a certain pricepoint in 2 months doesn't mean that it couldn't drop down that pricepoint some time in the future. Some people are really misunderstanding and making bad conclusions using this information.

There are fewer chances for bitcoin to fall again.
Many markets and banks start accepting it which means more people will invest in it.
I can see a bright future of bitcoin since its stable and not going down. It's volatile but it also give the green signals to all investors.

The longer it stays above $ 10,000, the stronger will be bitcoin's bullish potential. I'm very optimistic that BTC will grow to a new ATH soon.
This week we had two bad news: Bitmex Exchange was accused of money laundering and US President contracted COVID 19 Virus but Bitcoin did not depreciate much. We can see the current $ 10,000 level very solid.

Are you guys forgetting BTC sitting in the doldrums between $160 and $450 for essentially 2.5 years? People already now know the halvenings increased prices the last 2 times so I can assume the next halvening will not do anything to the price. More government support or bans (yes both of them) will drive price upwards. Seems many countries are happy to back it once they know they can securely collection taxation from trading.

But it not growing for the last 4 weeks. We need to fix this

There's nothing to "fix" necessarily. It's just that people haven't realized the importance of a disinflationary and permissionless currency. Though hopefully they will sometime in the future; though unfortunately most will realize it when it's already too late.

With that said, you can definitely help speed up adoption. Create a good bitcoin-related product that will help educate or make the lives of people better.

I didn't forget that, I was here in that time! People talked about how $1k is impossible, how $500 if far away! Look where we are now, for two months over $10k, I would say it's a new bottom, from here bitcoin can just go higher. And halving will affect the price, not right away (halving never had effects on the price in the first months after halving). Believe me, we still wait to see the effects of the last halving on the price, and with this new bottom next year have chances to be really crazy for the entire crypto market and all of us!
Nice read, short and positive article for all bitcoin lovers!

Although bottoms for BTC have no basis in the real world unlike real mined materials like copper, I think $3k is the new $450 and $1200 is the new $160. Remember the $160 only hit because of a fat finger on BTCe. The rest of the time it was mostly above $200. The mostly is $3k where it stayed above for 1 year, and then recovered to $650-$750 pattern before the halvening hype.

I'm going to forget I sold at $5 after recovery from $2  :'(

This might be biggest mistake of your life. I understand at that vey money you would have been very happy that you have not only recovered the loss but also sold the bitcoins at a profit of 3$. But now you will regret that if only you could have saved the bitcoin until 2017, you would have sold it for 19000$+.

Indeed this is a new record since last year we had the stronghold on $8,000+ which is hard to decline. Now the good thing about the price of BTC in the market is the $10,000 mark which has the longest streak since the beginning of this year. This is a good indication of the best is yet to come if the price won't decrease in this last quarter of this year. Maybe the next time it drops its price will be the last time and it might continue to increase to the point of we are recording a new ATH. so keep holding guys, we will not see the $8,000 mark again if we hold firm to our purpose of not selling it at the low price.

Just like any other bitcoin investor I hope for the price to break this resistance area and go up. But according to the TA is made a few days ago I think bitcoin currently needs to fill the price gap on 9700 usd and then we can see the higher prices. However, since the price is kinda stable right now I can't expect to fill the gap at this time. However, according to the ATR rules, after these spin movements it's completely possible to see a sharp movement on the price.

Who really knows what would be the future of bitcoin?6-7 years after before it really bloomed and make a $20,000 value.

All of us had sold Bitcoin at very low and when the value hit that highest?

we all felt bitterness and regret the very moment we sold our precious bitcoin but this needs to happen.
because now we value the coin as what we have to do years before.

Bitcoin has been above $10,000 since July 27 and attracts more young investors and crypto enthusiast. Will BTC ever drop under $10,000 ever again.
Well, nobody can tell at the moment because the Bitcoin market hasn't been growing positive due to series of issues in the community. Currently we have been around $10.8k and below but the issue here is, the market might go down because Bitcoin is finding it very much difficult to cross the $10.8k. So, logically the price of Bitcoin can't be said because its not a stablecoin and at that, it's a volatile coin, bitcoin can either go up or down anytime without our consent.

There has being some drop in the price and back to 10600$ now. It is not finding the resistance above it seems and may be first target will be crossing the 11k mark and then 12k would be the next big huddle. Expecting this year end to close above 12k atleast and if that happens will be a good boost for all of us.

I just hope that Bitcoin would stay above $10,000. It's now a critical level for BTC to start a bull run by maintaining the price above $10k. I know that the market cannot be predicted easily, and anything could happen like we were wrong about Bitcoin maintaining the $10,000 level.

For me, there's a possibility that it would go below $10k briefly, but may go back up again. It depends on the recent and upcoming circumstances that is happening around the Bitcoin and crypto world these days.

It is indeed that it has been too long since Bitcoin have reached its $10,000 price mark which is really good for it do attracts new comers that wanted to get engage into it as well as potential investors finding alternatives since the stock market have been affected by the current can crisis and situation our world is facing as of the moment.

With regards to if Bitcoin will ever drop again under $10,000, yes the possibility is always right there for its price is volatile and we cannot deny that fact for Bitcoin possesses such characteristic as well as the other existing crypto. But we must just hope for the best things to happen although we must be ready and open for the possibility that it might just happen in no time.

Analysts predict both growth and decline. But most people predict the growth of bitcoin, should they be believed? I don’t think Bitcoin will drop below $ 10,000, but what could accompany the rise? How much will the same virus affect Bitcoin?

Your choice of believing them. As you've said, they are all saying a prediction and analysis. It can change over time without any notice.

I don’t think Bitcoin will drop below $ 10,000, but what could accompany the rise?
Just like the first statement, you are also predicting or speculating and that's fine. IMO, I don't like to see it go down below $10k again but we can't control the prices. It's a game of supply and demand, hopefully, the demand rises more.

How much will the same virus affect Bitcoin?
I don't believe that the covid-19 existence has any correlation to the bitcoin price. Stimulus? it could be the effect but the market's been doing good before it came.

Nice reading, thanks. I hope, Bitcoin will continue staying above $10,000 as long as possible.

You don't need to worry about the price of Bitcoin, because in my opinion $10,000 is a price that is easy for Bitcoin to reach and I believe the price of Bitcoin will be able to reach $20,000, therefore if you have Bitcoin then I suggest you to hold and wait until the price increases very high even though maybe it will take a long time, because I believe the price of Bitcoin can reach $20,000 or even higher than that.

I think so because bitcoin is still at a higher value until now. It will soar high until end of this year and reach more than $15k or it will reach another ATH in my view. Let's just trust that bitcoin will continue give us a positive outcome this coming Christmas season.

Dont believe people tell Bitcoin will rise that much. Its a big difference in market cap and how much invest is needed to change the price from 100 $ to 1000$ then 10.000$ to 100.000$.

And forget this stupid Stock to flow model. 18 Millions of BTC are awaiable every single secound (ok maybe 5 Mio lost). That not the same as the gold ring of grand father...

When we are really really lucky, price will rise back to old ATH or maximum 30% above in years.

Correction will always be in an upward condition, because until now the highest price at 11000 is still not broken, many analysts say that bitcoin will return to correction at 9800 if the price movement has not been able to penetrate the 11200 price area, of course this is very reasonable if We can see from the previous year's history that bitcoin was more likely to experience a correction in Q4 and resumed its trend at the beginning of the year, but it is not certain that it will be like that because anything can happen.

I think bitcoin might not go below 10k, but if it do go this low it can then go lower even more.
Or it can recover past 10k again.

Also bitcoin go to 15000 very quickly, like in 13 days from now. But if it do not then it will stay as it is now, or rise, or even get lower( Which we don't like)

No one can predict the value of the bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, it is volatile and it changes its value time by time, so there is still a possibility that it may go down from $10k and can go up as well. I think that it can reach $20k within this year, if this would happen then there would be many people who will earn a big profit.

Even though a famous or well-known person in cryptocurrency predicts the value of it for the future, you still don't need to believe them because they are just assuming and there is no big possibility that it might happen.

We may not be "mooning", so to speak, but it's quite telling how stable bitcoin has been over these past few months.  I found bitcoin sometime around 2013/2014 and it's always been a volatile currency/asset and as I financial advisor who scrutinizes all financial products for a living, I've at time had a hard time believing it would every one day become a legit currency, but this price stability is really proving it's day is coming.

Right now, will all the negative news concerning different major bitcoin exchanges, politics, and the covid 19, we can see bitcoin being stable and strong. In fact, this people's trust is what really makes bitcoin strong, so right now, we can see bitcoin going up again in the market and might as well all of the best altcoins.

They don't listen rubbish discussion, news to destroy market. It's right to say market is more established than any time before. Bitcoin has been consolidating for the most recent month and here we're simply trusting some bullish move.

The price of cryptocurrency is always volatile, not outside of Bitcoin. Today the price of Bitcoin is more than  $11K, a few days ago it was below  $11K, a few days ago the price of Bitcoin was below  $10K. So it cannot be guaranteed that the price of Bitcoin will never fall below  $10K. However, I believe and hope that by the end of this year, the price of Bitcoin will exceed  $15K.

This is something common pattern of growth with bitcoin, and I this growth will go until the days close to the US election. By then we can expect some deflection, so it is time to make some profit from bitcoin volatility.

I'll wait a few more years before believing 'we will never see four figures again' but it is still a very meaningful stat.

It's the lows and consistency that tells the real story, not some ridiculous high that sustains for a few seconds. Anyone can make a spike if the market is absent enough. Creating a lasting base takes vastly more depth and that's the really informative metric.

It's incredible to see that bitcoin suddenly make a break out and the last time I checked it's $11,300. It's very weird that it happens in weekends, but I guess when the market is awake 24x7 we should expect the unexpected. But the trading volume though, something tells me that this is a fake break out.

And we have the coming US election, for sure this will have a impact in the short term as crypto enthusiast will have to wait and see if the next sitting President will be at last lax on crypto or shall we shall say 'pro-Bitcoin'.

You have only one job , hold your bitcoin tightly.
Everybody knew that whenever bitcoin price triggered to move up , will be hard to stop it. Better to hold and get several times pain to hit by the dump that occured in the last few weeks rather than see the price skyrocketing but you cannot do anything because you will feel not sure that is bubble could blow anytime, no better description than this when holders smiling at $100000 and doubters crying cash the bitcoin out in cheap.
We are breaking to $12000 today.

There are many contributing factors why bitcoin is increasing in the market. The US election may have a lil bit part of it but identifying it as a major push to what's happening in the market is I think too much. But whatever the reasons are, of course crypto users are happy when bitcoin is continuously going up. Even with the pandemic crisis, here we are, bitcoin is soaring.

It should be that if the case of the US Presidential election is withdrawn, there will be no significant influence on the price of bitcoin, it's just that maybe a group of whales who have a lot of money and maybe the people who control the world economy are trying to move the bitcoin market trying to make the price fall so that it seems to have a bad influence against the world.

if it reached $10,000 it can also fall below $10,000. This should not be a question to ask, remember that bitcoin has already reached $19,000 and then dropped to $3000, so why couldn't it fall below $ 10,000? interestingly the day after you made this post the bitcoin price dropped to $ 9800. one cannot think that the price is very stable then it is impossible to fall below $10,000.

The US presidential elections of 2012 and 2016 had zero impact on the exchange rates of Bitcoin. I don't think that the situation has changed in a big way. If Biden is elected, the stock markets may go down for sometime, but that should not have an impact on the Bitcoin prices. Both the candidates are rather indifferent to the idea of cryptocurrency. They don't hate Bitcoin, and at the same time, they don't have any reason to love Bitcoin.

I think it is never a time where we can all agree that BTC won't drop under a certain value. The volatility of the market can not take into account how other external economic factors might influence the market value of crypto, and thus can never be expected that dumping or jumping in whatever proportion will no happen. I think if people assume that BTC can not go below 10k and start investing only to find out that it can, it would be a petty and not to mention a huge risk.

It mostly due to so many people buying bitcoin around the world. The more people buy, price will keep rocketing, however Whale is not moving their money yet, If they try to dump, then bitcoin might dump about 10% to 15%, but I am sure, it will come back over 10k, very soon. In near future, bitcoin might stable around $12k to $15k. It will be good for people who holding bitcoin for long time.

I think not the halvening cause anything. It was the ICO Hype last time. So having a relation between two numbers dont need to mean there is a correlation.
Think of one thing we say in german:
There are less Storks here..... we have less babies---- so the storks bring the babies...

The volatility of the market can not take into account how other external economic factors might influence the market value of crypto, and thus can never be expected that dumping or jumping in whatever proportion will no happen.
For sometime the outside economic factors are having a major influence on the cryptocurrency market and it is spoken here in the forum as well that the changes in the stock market is directly influencing the bitcoin and cryptocurrency market.

I think if people assume that BTC can not go below 10k and start investing only to find out that it can, it would be a petty and not to mention a huge risk.
The price can go in either direction as we have seen a fall in price last time which was around 70% when the bitcoin market corrected and right now if we have a 12% correction we would go below $10k.

I was not fully aware of the fact that the price was above $10k for the past 60 plus days even though i know it was above for quite some time, what it shows is that whenever the market is correcting there are huge investments coming in to hold the market.

why it attracts more young investors more than the old investors . young people tend to go outside and spend things that they like the most but older people have a serious view on thier life .

i did not notice that its been 63 days now where btc stays on the same range . isnt that amazing ? our wish of btc to become a more stable currency are now going to reality but your asking if btc will ever drop again , yes of course it will and the drop should not be question but the real question if where will that happen ? well thats a mystery now because btc are now changing its style .

I just analyzed that the price will stay the same right above $ 10k, but haven't shown anything to start yet, we know the bitcoin halving has happened, this is where we wait for the surprise about it in a year after, I think it's hard to play under $ 10k again
You can see that currently the price is touching above $ 11k again, it doesn't show a big impact to the downside price for bitcoin, because usually after the bitcoin halving the price will continue to be like that and will go to the next rally in some time.

I don't figure the cost will go up now since it's stable. There will be another accident in the future, and the market will tumble down again, and afterward, it goes up.
I am not generally secure with this, but rather it occurs in the past.
Whenever a bad event shows up, it upset the market, which impacts on bitcoin's cost.
However, after the bad event, cost improve enough than previously.
So I consider showing up on the bad event will be acceptable because you need to see an increase in cost.

Anything and everything can happen in a highly volatile market just last March Bitcoin is trading at $5000 mark now after 7 months the price has double we really can't tell if the price will go down to blow the $10000 mark, because like what OP has said no one has predicted the coming of the pandemic, tomorrow it could be like $30000 it's hard to tell but always keep the faith.

I don't think that 10K has a strong meaning... It can go down to 8K, or rise to 12K... In a few years it may cost much more than we now imagine! ;D

The volatility in bitcoin is of course great, but I don't know what needs to happen for the price to quickly make x3. Probably something like the recognition of bitcoin as a currency by central banks, but as you understand it will not happen. I would rather believe in another rapid collapse than in rapid growth)

During the pandemic we can spend time with bitcoin and with internet access what we do is want to know about bitcoin how it is developing, well here many people are starting to be interested in investing in bitcoin with prices that are staying at quite a number of 10k and are now at the 11.4 level. k it indicates the bitcoin cycle will be strong, with the addition of the next number I am sure this will be a big increase.

Bitcoin has been over 10k for now more than couple of months and that too during the times when all other market due to pandemic were falling. So it means that demand continues to rise or remain stable and thus it is able to sustain the price. Hoping that we could see it soon above 12k levels as well.

In fact, it may not be the demand but the artificial keeping of the price, but in any case I do not care much about it! I am still optimistic about the future of bitcoin! Although it seems to me that after the U.S. presidential election, the price may fall, but most likely it will not be for long!

It is not going to be 30k anytime soon at all, it is going to be decent for sure, I am not saying it is not going to go up, it will definitely go up eventually, all I am saying is when it goes up it is not going to be like a 30k type of going up, that is why I believe we should not be too hyped about it.

Because when you get hyped like crazy and end up with something like 20k in price, you still wait for 30k and then it goes down and you lose all your money if you bought at around 20k levels, so be ready for fall whenever it happens. That would be the best way to go, buy like it is going up, be ready like it might go down. At that point you take advantage of any ups, and you do not get hurt by any lows neither, it would be very helpful for everyone involved in trading.

Yes, for the near future it seems impossible and it is just a prediction that is not necessarily true and many people have previously predicted that the price of bitcoin will reach a very high price with a different face value and vice versa.
The increase in bitcoing prices is likely to occur in the near future and I cannot predict it because lately the movement of bitcoin is difficult to predict, you should take advantage of the cheap price of bitcoin to buy it because after a decline it will definitely go up again and take advantage of it I think is good.

There is no impossible for bitcoin price movement, its price can up and down without we realized it. But, I don't know I just thinking that its price will never touch below $10.000 for this year. The reason that I have is bitcoin price should fall a lot when there is a problem with an exchange especially hacking event.

A few weeks ago there are some exchange who got a problem, one exchange has been hacked and another can't withdraw all user funds but its price just fall slowly not drastic as we have seen with the previous event. I don't know the reason behind it but clearly there will be many whales who still hold bitcoin at this situation and it would be good in the further situation.

Predicting on what would be the price of bitcoin in the future is somewhat useless into those people who do actively trade with it where they dont mind on what would be the price ahead
which the most important is that they do able to get profits on dealing with price on active manner.Predictions is always can be seen into this market yet price had always been unpredictable.
We can tally though on what are the statistics but doesnt mean that they would repeat once again. On the topic about 10k price in past 66 days? we cant be sure if we would be heading back
below into that level.Thing here is that you do able to utilize to make profits neither the market is plumetting down or rising up.It doesnt matter because price had
always been unpredictable.

Its a good observation as 10k area is near to the full value for BTC and the longer we maintain a lower price the more likely it can hold for a greater rise beyond this range.   July was important in being capped by 10500 previously and then exceeding that and keeping it as a low.   The biggest clue would probably to look at the dollar index or DXY (https://talkimg.com/images/2023/06/12/Aclv3.png) and see if we have altered into a new phase there, I doubt BTC would fall while that stays at levels similar to July or lower say about 94.6 seen in Sept DXY peak.

I've been so confident about the growing instances of the market $12k-$13k range before we end up this year but can't also deny and any possible for dumps will come.

As we enter the last quarter of this year, we saw a strong market gain despite the pandemic and this implies into something more hopeful crypto adoption. It sounds like the pandemic helps it and the new normal making its way to finally see the importance of Bitcoin besides the existing cashless payment system (credit and debit cards).

This is something I have been expecting for a long time, I knew from a long time that the price of Bitcoin will keep on climbing. The lowest price we had in the past years might not be the lowest we will be seeing in the future. Thought the lowest for this year was something we never expected, the price wouldn’t have dropped that low if not because of the pandemic, but that has happened.

Moreover I am happy that it never took long before the price started going back up again, and now it has been balanced. Let’s hope for more of this increase in the future. That’s why it’s always good to invest in Bitcoin with plans of holding for a long period, because that’s when you can benefit from it.

$10k is indeed in good faith this couple of months but we need more because the situation now is subsiding from the Burn of Covid 19.
so basically purely Pumping is what we need and more off the Election of US is soon to come, surely another movement will near to come.

I'm surprised that the past movement took place long (relatively) before the elections. What caused this? I don't see any fundamental factors at the moment. I see that the hashrate of the bitcoin network is breaking records, but this cannot be the reason, usually it is a consequence of some positive changes.

This might be because of the market recovering slowly from the devastating corona virus situation that was caused for several months and even now it has not cleared but has really slowed down and everything is getting back to normal. Maybe if the virus spread did not happen we might be having 16-17k price right now but the price was suppressed as low as 4k and the hike that was due to be taken place was spent all in filling the hole caused in march.

What I am saying is that the price went to around 4k in March and to lift it up to where it is now was a huge challenge in itself and imagine if the price never dropped we would had a new All-Time high price already. So as the market is recovering we are moving strong towards the next year and financial sheets are getting better for everyone slowly.

This somewhat coincides with EU and UK central banks telling people to prepare for negative interest rates. I can see a lot of rich people choosing to move at least part of their money into slightly riskier assets, since it will be losing even more value if they simply leave it in a bank account. The world is not really prepared for negative interest rates but Covid is making it more likely - so apparently Covid is good for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop under $10k again, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we never see a single trade in the 4 digits again. If there is a correction in the next few months I could see it very briefly dipping under $10k at its lowest, and then spiking back up. But in general 4 digits are likely gone for good now and $10k is the floor of the market now.

I don't understand what connection is there between elections in America and the price of bitcoins or crypto in general. Apart from from sportsbook taking bets on the event ;D I cannot find any relation between the elections and the price for bitcoins.

I was surprised that BTC did not dropped below 10k since a long time and now people may set target for 11k or 12k and maybe even 13k in future. The thing with bitcoins is that it can rise and drop like a freefall so don't be too optimistic if the price goes bonkers or remains stable also don't get too worried and don't panic sell when it goes down. Volatility is the nature of bitcoins and we have to live with that and actually that's better because more volatile means more chances to buy and sell frequently.

Title: Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days

The connection is not USA directly, you are correct in one way but the dollar is very relevant and since the people in charge to some extent are elected then its a possible change of policy etc.   Its a pretty big news event that can show up on the graphs without any great energy, it might even be the case the price is rising because Biden grew in the polls Im not sure if thats perceived that way or not.   The FED is supposed to be independant and not political but thats nonsense, its all about government not trade at present; debt over proper policy has been true for years.
I still think we can revisit the 200 day average which is below 10k, volatility is rising over time and for that reason alone even without being negative we can retrace previous pricing to that extent.

I've doubted that bitcoin will fall again at the end of the year Since New Year and Christmas is near and people surely use their bitcoin to spend the festival.
I think this what happens in 2017. But since it's highly volatile so I am not 100% sure if it happens or not.
No matter what happens I will still hold my all coins until it reaches to 20k

Yeah, actually the price hardly ever falls during the end of year because like you mentioned people spend their coins but there might be other reasons as well because I imagine the shopping with bitcoins cannot have a massive impact on the price. There might be other reasons like the year comes to an end so people invest their spare funds into bitcoin or something like that maybe.

I agree that we might see a $20k soon and anyone selling now will only regret but that doesn't mean I am trying to stop someone from selling because the market is so volatile that you better take your own decisions.
