Just seen this video from facebook page of Supercar Blondie. A wrist watch by Frank Muller. Said to be the first functional bitcoin watch. The description says $17M on your wrist but upon watching the video, it says it has $17M worth of bitcoin in there, so I don't actually know how much does this cost. Anyone interested in this?

I'm fine with what I have.

I don't need a watch that has a QR code of my Bitcoin address and costs $17M. I could just by my own ledger and put the rest of my $17M worth of other cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin.

I too have seen this video 2 days back. It's mainly a collector's item which is linked with $17 million worth of bitcoin. So it's definitely not targeted to commoners like us in any way! If I have have that amount of money in my bank, I would have lived a posh life in a first world country, lol!

Also, there is a variation in this watch and Frank Mullers has made only 500 pieces of it with price starting from $10,780. Obviously, it will hold less amount of bitcoins unlike the one that supercar Blondi showed to us!

I have watched that video before. The value when supercar blondie has uploaded it was $17M. And it has increased if it's still there, the total present value is almost $26M.

I'm not confident displaying a QR code with any of my apparel or accessories. That's making me feel uncomfortable and as they don't know, people around them are more knowledgeable than them and could assault the owner.

Old news that has already been discussed on the forum - and we concluded that the address on the clock is one of the MtGox adresses.


What I don't understand is how the video that is dated on December 1, 2019 goes viral every few months - Supercar Blondie wants more new friends on FB ::)

it's a Franck with a C between N and K. anyway, they could've at least design the watch much better than that. what a waste of a potentially good looking watch.

it's probably part of the Facebook algorithm or Supercar Blondie is paying a fee for her videos to show up on top every once in a while.

I am not a fan of watches and I think I could use that huge money on better things like ledger, as @Janation said, or a good computer that I could use.
