Will this be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies because there are so many projects and project developments using blockchain technology

I believe the ecosystem is now more mature than in 2017, in the ICO crazy.

However, I believe this DeFi farms will become the same thing as all those crazy icos: A big bubble.
Just like those useless tokens dropped 99% of its value and many people lost money, this will probably happen again now in DeFi farms.

And in the end, what will stay immutable, just like always it always did? bitcoin.

If you are talking about the big bull run then i agree because post btc halving the last quarter of the year is usually bullish and we are just into the last quarter now and hopefully from november we will see the bullish impact in the market that will hopefully continue till next whole year.

If the adoptions were coming from the institutional or government and that could become the beginning of the rise of crypto but if you meant about more project that used blockchain came from the new projects and then this could not be a strong reason as so many projects wanna try to take the hype that is still happening in the blockchain.

It's too early to determine the rise of crypto based on the there were new projects that used blockchain.

Right now, I might not get into full confidence that this will be the start of rising cryptocurrency. It's just a normal behavior that we may experience from previous pattern and then goes back to what it really is. With the recent projects and developments, well that's going to become transparent around the world, but not on a point that this brings back the full recovery. What's important this time is to save the most valuable coin that you want, and wait for the perfect time it will gain a sustainable price to earn good profit.

DeFi farms -big bubble because most of them have no actual application. Copycat of copycat. Imitations of imitations. You don't even know who's copying who if you will not look at their domain registration. And the biggest blunder among these defis is that they have no working platform and yet they are enjoying their expensive price tag in the market. So where do you think it will go? High likely that most of these DeFis will be gone soon along with their collected funds.

Beginning and revival? it's already in the process so I don't think that's a necessary description we got there. About the projects that are getting into blockchain technology and decors it because they got a sales for their token, they don't actually are good projects as they rake money displaying the concept and selling it without anything in return for the buyers. They display a token and a project that doesn't make sense but is full of promises.

For now, it's too early to visualize the incoming rise of crypto but i know eventually it will soon to happen because this crypto market is just all about rising and falling of its prices. ICO projects are quite back to its normal trend  but this defi projects have been the latest trend for crypto enthusiasts. I guess once the government starts to adopt cryotocurrency, then probably it will be the start of the rise of crypto.

We cant tell but we can see that this is a better market compared into those previous years where almost everything do rise up because of Fomo or in short in a bubble.
After that 2017 bull run and after several years, we had seen the market to moved into a gradual phase.We dont see long green candles and long red ones in a
short span of time where it do means that we are really having  that organic demand which cant really be easily crashed just like what happened on 20k goes down to 3k
bigtime. Adoption is on the move and we do all know that but lets not rush up into things because it cant really be attained in a matter of few years.
We are just a decade old and theres still lots of years to come for such adoption.Lets just patiently wait and see on what would happen.

Hasn't the cryptocurrency adoption process already been emerging more and more sectors than before the DeFi hype and this era? In my opinion, this is not the beginning, but this is a form of development of how more people, parties, and companies and even governments are interested in and concerned about the world of cryptocurrency. Moreover, if it is about the mass adoption of using blockchain technology. It will be much wider than we think, not only about implementing blockchain for cryptocurrency but for many more sectors and systems.

True, the difference may lie in how developers create and prepare a project for real use, a more mature concept, and also a wider range of developments. And of course, both developers and crypto activists are increasingly observant and convincing about the new project. As well as extra caution when participating in new projects.

but as you said, the hype is still everywhere, just like this DeFi. We can't deny that DeFi has been developing incredibly fast. And this might be like before, just hype, bubble, and then it will fall again to be replaced by others.

We still need more good news before the market rise again, and maybe after the US election cryptomarket will boom again, whales are waiting for this one for sure.

Adoption can’t guarantee big up trend but slowly we will reach the peak again so be patient. We begun years ago and now we are trying to sustain the momentum so we can finally make a new all time high again, time is not our enemy invest while waiting.

Time can tell, the price is not moving yet despite of the good news of many good projects, the adoption of blockchain technology is increasing this is still a good news for a long term cryptomarket goal. Participate now to enjoy the future of cryptocurrency, its hard to just watch the market pumping. I do personally hold some bitcoin and good altcoins, waiting for the next cycle of up trend.  :D

I think we should not be looking at the price when we are discussing the relevant of blockchain revolution. More attention should be paid to the usage and how easy is helping us to transact with each other borderless and anonymous.

The adoption increasing however thats not enough to increase price  of many crypto currency. We have a lot of investors already that enter crypto market but the real problem is we also have many coins in the market the more choices the harder for crypto currency to increase and get the demand they needed while working for thier coins development.

Perhaps, after the US elections, the crypto market will start growing again, but this cannot guarantee a huge aspiration for growth.  Everything will happen gradually, so everyone should be patient and wait.

The main thing should be more blockchain companies meant more adoptions and this will be result in the growing of the cryoto users. Some countris have tried to issue the digital currency which can give direct impact to the crypto.

So many projects are using blockchain! That's not enough reason to make cryptocurrency rise. A good number of us are sure that we are attaining the bull run soon, and our expectations is to have an improvement in crypto value anytime from now, especially since the year is rounding up, the increase in projects using blockchain is more of advantage in adoption.

Cryptocurrency is too volatile to presume a permanent beginning or rise! The popularity, the awareness, the technology etc being adopted, becoming mainstream, that is what would truly mark the beginning of the rise of crypto.

not many, you can only see some YFI projects and their families are very much with the same concept as well as Sushi tokens and their children, where almost all projects come because copying names and projects, it looks like a stupid project, we haven't seen any interesting projects , to be honest projects like DeFi are old fashioned as well as staking or farming, most of them never last long, so there are very few projects that have their own blockchain and are unique, take a look at my signature and learn because it has its own uniqueness.

It will takes a long time, and the main focus to make blockchain known by most people is the government itself. Until now we still relly on government regulation, if the government ban crypto currency there will also many project who dead because this regulation. I am optimistic about cryptocurrencies right now because people have the experience to stay away from shoddy projects. Old projects have their own products and are being used by many people. If you check market cap, you will agree with me that the recovery of Bitcoin and other alts was a healthy one. From 3.6k to yearly high of 12k, but don't expect something like real bull run. Some factors that contributed to 2017 uptrend are no longer in place, therefore, alts and new projects may have a new trend and everyone would want to cash out at slightest opportunities.
We may see side ways for the rest of the year if election don't affect stock market imo. There is correlation between cryptocurrency and stock markets.

I don't think anyone would be happier than me if it will be the beginning of a revival for cryptocurrencies. ;D It was heartbreaking to see the market in such a bad state for so many days. My mind says something good will happen this time.

Defi farming looks bubble to me. A lot of New DeFi project with the same purpose of farming. Many people will end up losing their funds like 2017. But the crypto market is already trending and the Global crypto market is expected to grow over $39.7 billion by 2025. People trying to simplify their business with blockchain technology by integrated supply chain management applications. This can push the crypto market up.

This a a beginning of nothing but another proof that humans as a group can never do something good without an individuals brilliance or without a careful intervention by a concerned group of citizens to act as vigilantes or safe-keepers. Decentralization, when allowed to its full extent just goes to prove that humans are little more than greedy snakes just out to hurt each other. They will leave no stone unturned and there is no deceit and treachery they will shy from in order to benefit from the misery of their own fellow humans. Just look at these shameless copies and scams. I feel almost angry on these thousands of people who are falling for the rug-pulls by people who name themselves against an existing token. Or for someone who is idiotic enough to name their products on food items. Its a fucking joke, and its not even funny.

Till some people come together to actually rein this degeneracy, this thing will only end up hurting a lot of people and enriching a few like the ICO scams did. Next you know, the DeXes will start coming under regulator scrutiny and people would have finally fucked the ecosystem for good. Thank god for Bitcoin and Thank god for people like the Core devs. Imagine if these devs were like the imbecile Ethereum devs.

There is a big lesson in all these rug-pulls and scams for all the people who question bitcoin for various reasons. Those people have actually managed to implement and keep running billions of dollars worth of financial tools without any major incidents and without anything close to a scam, for 10 fucking years. And here we are with Ethereum developers running away with people's money and spoiling a great idea like DeFi.

I don't think the number of crypto projects will affect the growth of the crypto market. My opinion is that there is a certain cyclical nature in which the crypto market grows and develops. For example, if the last growth was in 2017, then in 4 years there should be the next flight to the moon, and this turns out in 2021. Perhaps in 2021 there will be some event that will trigger growth. Perhaps the launch of the digital yuan or something else will affect this. In any case, the crypto market will develop and there should be growth.

Maybe you're identifying the bull run as what others mentioned here and not being in a bull run doesn't mean that crypto died. It is just taking its time for a bull run, well not for the shitcoins of course, they stay shitcoin.

It's simple. Projects want their own coin to be successful in terms of crowdfunding that's why they are relying on the Defi hype and they know that people will invest and want to earn their part on those new Defi projects. Because of the nonsense projects that made their success from this hype, Many project teams wouldn't want to miss this kind of opportunity for their project to become successful in terms of crowdfunding and later on in the market.

This 2020 year is soon coming to its end. I hope, it will take everything bad with it, and crypto dumps as well. In reality, cryptocurrencies should have much better future than they are predicted. These projects existing are not different to the past. There are scam and legit, it will come and go. Those projects that will remain are good and working and not only because of the hype.

This incident is similar to ICO or IEO which is only temporary, although I hope it is not because of the hype trend. It's actually great if a lot of people implement blockchain technology but what we have to see is the growth of the platform, where we don't really want buble but something that really goes up.

We're still not in the best pace so if you're saying the the market will strike the best peak again, I think that is quite impossible to happen for now. why revival ? did crypto died already ? yes scam and crappy projects have died but fine cryptos are still standing still  . poor rated projects that have died wont be revived again  . you better say that the development of blockchain related projects can contribute to the existing growth of cryptos and to the blockchain technology . most of the cryptos have risen a long time ago but there are good number of cryptos that are not performing well but the blockchain adoption can help them .

It depends on the government's concern for cryptocurrency, because if the government does not care about this, the taxation system for cryptocurrency will also never exist and will never happen even though cryptocurrency has penetrated into everyday life.

As long as we do not get the adoption rate higher we are not going to suddenly get better than what we are right now, it is already known as a financial sector type of thing where people invest into it and I get that, but we are not a payment method just yet and as long as we do not have a reason to buy and hold bitcoin we are not going to see it take it to next level.

However if we could become a payment method in many places, that means you could own bitcoin and wherever you go when you want to spend your money you could spend it. This gives you an advantage over dollar because at that point you are investing AND also making a profit AND you are spending it without a need to cash it out. Well maybe but let us not put too much hope on it.Nowadays crytocurrency is on the rise with so many new projects.The recent projects overtaking are mostly defi projects which are very much profitable.But the best thing to do is make research and investigation about any project before investing because their are so many scams project out there.

On a contrary to, the pandemic impact every setting negatively with the inclusion of Bitcoin because the crypto market ought to be in the total bullish market by now not that it makes the market to experience a price increase as you said but despite the negative results it caused, it still showcases the true potential of Bitcoin to the world which was what lead to some private company using Bitcoin as their reserve asset.

For Defi, it becomes a trend because it gives crypto the chance to invest in financial in a decentralized way rather than the financial provided by the banks.

I think it is just the rejuvination of the crypto-market and that is somehow because of the entry of DeFi projects in the market like for example the hype and craze that UniSwap gave to us which is very useful and helpful in the marketplace. Obviously it seems like the trend is now finally moving towards pro crypto logic, as we have started to hear good things from many state banks also from regulators and in general public and politicians the perception is changing to positive which would definitely help the crypto market to grow big in future.

Nice pumps often happen in the market but the real problem is the dumps that take the price back down, people start selling their coins for a small profit where they can get nice profit if they just wait and let the price to go further up. This will benefit the individuals as well as society as a whole when the value of everyone's assets will increase drastically. I feel the rise of cryptocurrencies have already occurred and we are in the mid point of the change from the fiat to cryptocurrencies just some patience and as you said regulations can change the impossible into a reality.

I really think that cryptocurrency has rise already. What i mean is, it always overvome circumstances and after the lame market it would rise. DeFi now has upagrade crypto since many altcoins are blooming now in the current market.

Don't get wonder why it goes like this. The number of crypto projects is growing but somehow many of them were just worthless. If we think about the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency? Yes, we have already started it in the past years. The adoption keeps moving on that is why we might seeing an increase in crypto projects but as I've said, not all of them will stay on the market long, some of them will just be dead.

Cryptocurrencies have been more diversified since 2017 following the wave of ICOs. I think crypto projects are recovering and getting in demand again due to their usefulness. At this stage in the crypto space we have way passed the "beginning" but can't really ascertain the phase we are in now because we are not moving at a faster pace. Looking years back, maybe from 2017, it is then we can say the cryptocurrencies are taking a new shape because many attentions were channelled to it and many platforms were created as well. In my own opinion, I will say we are at a very advanced stage now because different trends and different projects keeps coming, and in each case we are experiencing massive and a whole lot of attention, the current DeFi trend is a proof to that.

Dafi projects really look up to standard. Especially those of them that are created by ordinary developers. Such projects can bring profit to their investors. You don't just need to pay for projects - which clone other successful projects.

I think crypto never stopped developing and it just slowed down. A cycle that has been happening to crypto ever since. Actually, I think we are now going into the bull cycle and that end of this year to next year we will see a good trend for many cryptocurrencies. Its very likely to happened due to the pandemic world wide people will sure noticed cryptocurrencies which will raise its demands, but it also a high possibility for the scammer to became more aggressive and use these advantage to scam others and eventually can cause to reduced its demands.  
There are always many projects and out of these projects are scam so people don't even bother to participate due to these some projects will failed, that's why some developers does not announced their project publicly and only allowed fixed number of participants.  

I still think it is a bit too early to visualize the incoming rise of cryptocurrency but I am certain it will eventually happen soon and that is because the cryptocurrency market is just too volatile. I think the only thing that is drawing back this crypto rise is adoption and regualtion. Once the government adopts and regulate crypto then we will be able to use it in our daily transaction.

Right now, i think this could not be saying like the beginning of the rise of the cryptocurrency. Because crypto has popular a long time ago and its existence more increasing in this world and has many user too.

There arealso so many crap, overhyped, scam projects. quantity is not important but quality is. i hope bigger companies are going to start believe in and work on blockchain technology in near future.

On account of the drivel projects that made their prosperity from this publicity, Many project groups wouldn't have any desire to botch this sort of chance for their project to get fruitful as far as crowdfunding and later on in the market. the rising of new and quality projects is an indication that the market is improving, we will have a ton of good projects as of now since it's investment time,

I've found that things can't be change easily. Many people will take the opportunity to scam people through creating crap projects, push to hype, and after they have money for innocent people they are quickly disappear. That was crazy and we witness that especially this time as the numbers of crypto projects increasing.

TBH, it is hardly to find good projects at this time.

Only the Binance coin price is more than 2018 golden time. Still Bitcoin or Ethereum none of this coin suppress the highest pump of golden time. Now we can't buy any top coins at the lowest price. Only we can take the highest opportunity from the new Altcoins. Actually, this opportunity won't ever end. After next year's 2nd quarter we couldn't buy top altcoins at a low price.

I don't see any event or any time where cryptocurrencies are falling. In terms of price yes last 2018 but in terms of development and projects, there always has been new projects that are emerging. Cryptocurrencies are always rising IMO.

There are good new projects that are being created. There are some coins that are being created just to scam these poor investors. There are some who will create a coin then after getting the money they want, they will just leave the coin making it a dead coin. I've seen many of these already and this might happen to new DeFi projects too.

Yes, everything is changing in the world. Blockchain technology is not a new concept rather than it is increasing day by day. After the ICO concept of 2017, now many projects are coming to blockchain technology for fundraising events.

I will say yes this is the beginning of the revival of cryptocurrencies. With the level of the adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology now, anything is bound to happen. I see cryptocurrency moving to the next level in few years to come, so many that are not yet aware of cryptocurrency and it usage will surely get to know about it and probably adopt it for usage.

I guess good news are on the way this coming end of this year due to halving that is going to be happened. For now a lots of projects are getting good and giving good earnings to investors, if I have enough capital there are many good projects to support. Crypto is now waking up and lucky for those who have lots of capital for investments because there are many potential projects to support.

So far we have actually moved from being something so small that only few tech and libertarian people know about to a level where even wall street companies are getting into, which is why I highly think that there is no way to rush things because things are falling in to the place very well.

So, right now is not the "beginning of the rise" but it is already begun, but its peaked too early, so it looks like we are not at the start but we are back to start of the rise again that is the weird part, normally when the rise starts it keeps rising and that is what people imagine, by around 2017 the rise already started and we peaked at $20k, we are also once again at the rise so that is what confusing people and think we are at the start, we are just back to start and we will move very high eventually.
