I am feeling generous and decided to buy a print (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5280473.msg55361246#msg55361246) from user LitLitBit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2843808) and raffle it off for free!

This is a wonderful screen print by Martin Fischer, AKA cypherpunknow. It is 100 x 70 cm (39 x27 inches). Limited to 40 prints, this is no. 24. I have a copy of this work and wanted the others in the collectibles section who may not have much bitcoin art to have a chance at a great piece. My only request is that if you win, please do not flip it for profit. Please enjoy it yourself. If you do not feel you would want it, then don't enter the raffle.



First come first served for this raffle.  

Free shipping to anywhere with mandatory escrow via minerjones. I will not be responsible for any lost item once shipped.

Only one spot per person please, no alt accounts or multiple entries.
Members and above only for this raffle, no red trust unless otherwise vetted.
I reserve the right to remove someone from the raffle if they appear to be taking advantage of a free raffle.

This will be conducted via standard 100 slot raffle. Please PICK AN AVAILABLE NUMBER, NO RANDOMS. Randoms will be ignored. Once all 100 spots are filled I will choose and post a future bitcoin block number and the last two number digits in the hash will determine the winner.

Sorry for any confusion. The print is not in my possession currently, it is with LitLitBit. I will pay for shipping from LitLitBit to MJ and MJ to winner. This will prevent shipping to me, then to MJ then to winner, and will still give winner some privacy (not having to give me or LitLitBit a physical address). I will gladly accept it from LitLitBit and send it myself or directly from LitLitBit if the winner would like, but I know many people trust MJ, and some people do not like to give their information to me or LitLitBit. Just trying to respect people's privacy. Of course I will cover MJ's escrow fee as well and am willing to work out any other shipping concerns with the winner if necessary. Hope this helps clarify.

Seems to be a bit of waxing interest in the raffle.

Would love to roll a full raffle, but If it does not fill will roll the blockchain with re-rolls on empty spots.

Being serious now, it's sad to see that so few members are interested in art. Still on this subject, I kept reading zasad's interviews with forum members. There is a question about what crypto books you read. Most of the participants to interviews say they didn't ready any because they didn't have time, because they didn't have the chance etc. Various excuses. What's certain is that very few are interested in art, no matter its form. People don't read books anymore, are not interested in paintings anymore and so on. And this is sad, but a reality.

OP, you paid for this piece of art to offer it for free and you can't find participants to this free raffle, can you believe it? That's what I'm talking about. Art is obsolete... or so it seems.

It is kind of true. It is specially true for new generation. The new generation likes fancy stuff. On the other hand, Bitcoin collectible world has boosted the art world, both physical and digital forms of arts.

It is hard to believe. I do understand that some may not like it or want it, and would rather people only enter if they are interested. But honestly, I thought that a limited print from a well known bitcoin artist that retails for $170 USD would fill quicker. Oh well, it is their loss and someone else's gain.

But yeah, this is very disappointing to see but I made the same experience a few weeks ago, was free raffling some crypto stamps and the interest was not like expected.  :-\

Exactly. The fact is there isn’t 100 active users on the collectibles board. We need to do a better job of sharing this site apparently.

Well not just that, but some of us don't get here but a few times a week due to real life. I know I am seeing a lot of missing known collector names there TBH.

Hey,

Just wanted to post this in here with its frame and its finally on the wall.
I ordered a total of 4 frames and only one made it to my house in one piece, all the others just damaged during shipping!

Its a huge picture but it looks great
