Hello and welcome to these boards, I hope you'll have a good time here.

There is a sticky thread in these boards, titled "Newbies - Read before posting" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0). Did you read it before posting?

If not, a lot of the most important questions concerning Bitcoin, Altcoins and this community will be answered in that thread.

Enjoy.

I'll suggest to read Mastering Bitcoin https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook I think it's a good start for newbie since it's more easy to understand rather than read Bitcoin whitepaper (unless you're tech-savvy person).

Or this video for another option https://m.youtube.com/watch?index=14&list=RD6WG7D47tGb0&v=s4g1XFU8Gto

I'll summarize all about the forum with as few sentences as I could and I really hope that you get the hang of it.
Bitcointalk is a forum for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency enthusiast like yourself and everyone else here and its where you learn both the foundamentals and masters in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It was utmostly designed to encourage learning through interactions and then, you can also earn in the process too. The mistake most persons make is, focusing their energy on earning which doesn't go so well with the beginners as the forum is designed to set users mindset right on the objectives of the forum.
You can very much acquint yourself with the rules and guidelines on the forum, look at the pinned posts above every board to be familiar with what the distinct boards are about and the governing rules. Take to reading the posts and comments on articles and also reference posts as (1) for motivation and (2) for posting techniques as these little things will contribute to you doing better and improve in the forum:
(1)  Your perception matters  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5281223.0)
(2)  Bitcointalk posting etiquette  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184741.0)
Feel free to ask questions, scavenge the forum, take careful observations of the things you come across and learn at every point. Don't set your mind on earnings, it will always come when the time is right.
