Title: The List Satoshi Nakamoto Thread
Post by: blue Snow on October 14, 2020, 02:02:08 PM
We don't know who Satoshi is, I won't know who he is either. Other people love such history about then create a thread Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? Part History, Part Mystery, and a New Solution! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5136880.0).

In this time I won't talk about satoshi personally, I just want a literate satoshi thread and create the list for history,

I don't find this thread entertaining not helpful since if we want to know the threads created by Satoshi we can simply go to his profile and check the history and by their we can see the activity made by him for the past years since he created the bitcoins.

Although the other speculation threads about him quite interesting, but until now no one really got the real info of the legitimate satoshi.

Can't we get all these directly from here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=3;sa=showPosts ?

This topic could have been so helpful if other members can not visit Satoshi Nakamoto's posts history, but we can all visit it through the link given by 100bitcoin above or through Satoshi's profile. Everything about Satoshi posts and activities on this forum are transparent and can be easily seen by checking his profile.

I think the idea of OP is good enough because of:
  • You need to do things step-by-step
  • Look at topic titles first to get impression
  • If have interest, look at topic contents

Unfortunately, OP's approach has its disadvantage:
  • Manually updates, that is terrible if you are dealing with productive members who create new topics daily.
  • For satoshi case, this approach is fine.

To save time, people can use these hidden pages. These one are for satoshi

  • All boards: https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=3
  • For Bitcoin discussion (board=1): https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=3&board=1
  • For Development & Technical Discussion (board=6): https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=3&board=6
  • For Bitcoin Technical Support (board=4): https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=3&board=4
  • For Project Development (board=12): https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=3&board=12

Change userid and boardid for your interests.

You made a typo: Desember. Please correct it to December.

Satoshi nakamoto might have just written his name un-erasable in history. But reading his profile his bitcointalk post don't match his name, its mostly like an update, like the one of apps for a new version, it was like his messenger, nothing extraordinary, I think he intended that.

I think other accounts and so changing times, some of which I still go back to their thread even daily.

Sure, this thread a summary purpose, if you read this thread you don't need to open the page by page Satoshi post.

A thorough listing of the writings of Satoshi Nakamoto can be found here: https://satoshi.nakamotoinstitute.org/

it would have been so much better if you could categorize these posts instead of listing them chronologically. for example new releases could be in same group, technical explanations (eg. explaining proof of work, anonymity,...) in another, bug discussions/fixes, and so on. this way finding posts on a certain topic that interests the reader would become easier.

Thanks for suggestion, I will thingking about it,  I don't have much tech knowledge how to categorize those topic right now.

I think there should be more explanation about what you are trying to do with the list above. I know your purpose isn't about to identify who Satoshi is based on his posts, but what exactly the specific goal of showing the list is? Make it more specific, mate! You are better to explain the specific purpose of your post (topic) below the list.

By the way, I think the Merit feature isn't needed here if we just focus on what Satoshi ever wrote, except if you want to show Satoshi post history & his merit statistics.

Well, I appreciate the idea, it's okay. I hope You can make the list above more useful and add more valuable explanations there. So, everyone here not only sees Satoshi thread/topic history but gets more specific information as well. Because if it is only about Satoshi thread/topic history, everybody can take a look themselves on the Satoshi account.
