No offense, but is crypto faucet still a thing in 2020?

And speaking of Wordpress, Millions of WordPress sites are being probed and attacked with recent plugin bug (https://www.zdnet.com/article/millions-of-wordpress-sites-are-being-probed-attacked-with-recent-plugin-bug/).

Notwithstanding the attacks, I guess there is still the power of FREE. If some are still clicking on an ad which pays a Satoshi or two, there must be a whole lot more who run after free Satoshis. So I guess it is still a nice bait. If only for the traffic.

Crypto faucets may not be a thing in 2020, but that's for us. We've been there done that, but to a Bitcoin or crypto newbie there is always the excitement of free Bitcoins.  

many users will say that faucet is useless and a waste of time because they are earning better than the faucet
but if we will compare it in the bounty campaign and some jobs for crypto it's not that bad because its newbie-friendly

For newbies who wants to get few satoshis faucets are still attracted to newbies and besides many of us here started doing faucets I'm one of them, and about plugins as long as you have the latest version and you have a security plugin to stop this bad plugins you will be fine, plugins is what makes Wordpress the best blogging script in the world.

Probably not to make serious cash, but as newbies and people learning about bitcoin its always nice to receive free satoshi.
I mean if your faucet has ads and users click them the traffic should make you some revenue even better if people sign up using your ref link at sites.

Owning a faucet might have a chance to earn crypto if you are able to attract many people and those people click the ads then you'll gain traffic. Also you can earn too if you find a partner or maybe a customer who wants their platform to be advertised on your faucet site. As we know, faucet at this time, (2020) are mainly to test out the casinos.

while user cant really earn big in faucet it's still a better way to earn some

In the pasts, I'm creating a faucet sites and linked to faucethub, since it's doesn't give me a profit or even the sites no traffic, so I abandoned it. also lose some of Doge because I'm too late to release that from Faucethub.

the most important thinks to do is, the programs must can detect IP's and browser cookies. If not, your faucet will be robbed by one users.

Yes, people come for the faucet but they stay for the gambling. Freebitco.in is doing super well for years now. They just keep adding ways to gamble that glorious BTC. Of course they also offer interest on the balance which is still rare in the crypto world...and much needed.

Whom ever runs that site is killing it...funding their own mining operation, making plenty on the gambling, and the interest is just dust to keep assets under management.

They're obviously pretty much irrelevant now. Regardless, I think this should be a good short course for bitcoiners to learn how to create, run, and market basic WordPress websites. Which are skills that are really really valuable right now, and will be more valuable as things in general move digitally.
