What happened: Fake team using stock photo

They are making DeFi look like a joke with these childish scam attempts.

Anybody reading this after visiting the accused user's trust rating, please note that the use of stock images to prepare a team profile page for whatever reason be, is a sign of a scam project. The ones running this may say that it is a bug on the site or so, does not make it legit, it is still a scam.

My general advice to newbies, please contact the profiles on linkedin personally and talk to them about whether they are actually involved in the project or not. Many times scammers just post some big figures images and claim them to be advisors when in reality that well known personality never knew anything about it. It is a method done to fool and scam people.

There should be a thread where we store the stock photos used by the scammers so they have a easy accessed reference. I know that it isn't only me that gets tired trying to find the right website that the scammer used to get stock images, the theory behind my proposal is that they recycle the stock photos because most stocks are quite bothersome if you pay again after your scam gets busted. The problem with my country is that only few people use LinkedIn but the advice is pretty good if you have an account. Another tip I recommend is report it to cybercrime investigation sites because this is a clear identity theft case.

Instead of defending themself from the accusation here, on the contrary they keep continuing the project in their own way and ignore it.

Maybe they have no choice but to ignore it. Because their whole team is fake, so they don't have the ability to upload a picture of an original team to their website. When their motives are bad, they need to find many ways to hide themselves. Such projects always behave in the same way when their activities are caught by community members. So community members stay away from investing in such projects.

You are absolutely right, their behaviour is extremly shady and with all the ongoing DeFi scams, it's very likely that $CXCHE is another one. I left an additional negative trust feedback and added $CXCHE to the DeFi scam list (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276012.0), which I recently updated.

Should $CXCHE manage to refute the accusations in this thread (which I doubt), I will of course remove my negative feedback.

Thank you for checking out their new ANN and reporting it here.

I will message their board so users would also be alert and notified about their shenanigans. Creating another ANN and providing for a false information about their negative trust are enough reasons for me to hold that they are concealing such information.

All stock photos have been fixed and the website at the time was marked as a work-in-progress (WIP)

No reply and no response to the active flag given against my account.

All problems were immediately resolved and as explained above, the website was marked a WIP.

Social links and the correct images are now shown on our website.

If no one caught about the use of stock photos, I wonder if you will change it to your real ones. The linkedin profile of Jay (Founder) seemed to be recently created also as it has only 7 connections. Anyway, you can push thru your project but don't expect that community users here will support your platform. Too many crap DeFis already, we don't need another one.

This is a very big mistake where they initially made a project only for a scam after this was caught they dodge and buy themselves with the justification so from that whatever you do completely will not believe in what has been done even though it was already in update from your platform.
Never mind this useless DeFi I am also still amazed that DeFi projects without a clear purpose are still popping up.
This moment is only a use for scamer.

This is also the reason on why I left the negative trust despite the project changing already their team project. If the project was legit and genuine from the start, I do not see the need for them to use stock photos. I understand that they are trying to be anonymous but why did they implement a "team" tab to begin with? I will not remove this project until they give me a compelling reason to remove it.
