Title: Does Coinb.in support SegWit addresses that begin with bc1? Post by: Picard78 on October 15, 2020, 09:33:45 AM Hello,
According to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6z886e/coinbin_adds_segwit_support/ (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6z886e/coinbin_adds_segwit_support/) Coinb.in does support Segwit. However, when I entered my SegWit address (bc1...) in order to create a new transaction no Inputs or Outputs appear for my address which does have Bitcoin. https://coinb.in/#newTransaction (https://coinb.in/#newTransaction) Is the conclusion that Coinb.in doesn't support bc1 addresses accurate? Thank you. Title: Re: Does Coinb.in support SegWit addresses that begin with bc1? Post by: mocacinno on October 15, 2020, 09:38:15 AM I took a random bech32 address by following a transaction i once made untill i found a funded bech32 address (the address is not mine)
I entered said address on coinb.in, and the unspent output funding said address was succesfully detected https://i.imgur.com/M59GXQ4.png Title: Re: Does Coinb.in support SegWit addresses that begin with bc1? Post by: Picard78 on October 15, 2020, 10:32:38 AM I am not getting any inputs for my address bc1qk64mum3cdk8pd0e7wnj4ut6rqfxmx20rcqy39h

Title: Re: Does Coinb.in support SegWit addresses that begin with bc1? Post by: Picard78 on October 15, 2020, 10:41:27 AM I got it to work. It seems to work inconsistently. Sometimes Input is 0 and sometimes the input is correct. Strange.

Title: Re: Does Coinb.in support SegWit addresses that begin with bc1? Post by: mocacinno on October 15, 2020, 11:18:20 AM I know coinb.in uses javascript library's that run completely from your local machine, these library's use api's to query for unspent outputs funding a certain address.
Maybe there's a timeout from these api calls from your local machine? Could be the api provider, your isp or your computer/laptop/cellphone. You can try to look at the console when you try to create a transaction? You could also visit https://coinb.in/#settings => Unspent outputs and select a different provider and see if that fixes your issue...
