Hello everyone,
Rank up is possible for an average or a shit poster. I call myself a shit poster because one of my posts was discussed here Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4564216.0).

I was registered in this forum on May 16, 2020 and start my journey as a bounty hunter. I achieved my first merit about 3 months after joining the forum Aug 11, 2020 and became Jr.  member of this forum. 2 months 2 days after achieving first merit i became a full member of this forum.

Some problem i had to face:
1. Language: I am weak in English. So sometimes i can't find the words to make a sentence. Then i have to find the word in the dictionary and complete the sentence. That is why it is difficult for me to take part in any discussion.
2. Little knowledge about forum and cryptocurrency: If you want to take part in a discussion, you must have knowledge of that subject.  Since I have less knowledge, I have to skip a lot of discussions.

Some word for beginners:
If you have time, spend more time on the Bitcoin forum. There is so much to learn from this forum. There is no age to learn. We are all constantly learning something.
Take part in various discussions as far as you know. In this way, one day your knowledge will be fulfilled. And one day your turn will be came to make this thread.

It's goid to see another member got rank up from my locap. I have seen a few of your post in local thread and global too. They certainly deserve merit. So, yeah you deserve the rank. Congratulations.

Fortunately, even if it's the case that you're not really fluent with English, it's totally fine as long as we could at least understand what you're saying. There are a few good Legendary members that doesn't have perfect English grammar but is good enough to understand. Of course, it doesn't mean that you should stop learning. Fortunately there are tons and tons of free English courses online.

It is good if you admit what you are lacking at the moment but you are frank that it will not detract from your interest in learning for the better. I think this is a positive thing for you.
I know that a lot of user post in English but they do not master the language well because it's not their native language. But as long as your post can be understood by other user then I don't think it's a problem. I bet if the user doesn't understand what you are posting then the ranking is not yours at this time. Congratulation on your new ranking.

If you’ve only been in bounty campaigns then you’ve probably realized that way you won’t progress on the forum, but it’s positive that you decided to change and managed to get to the Full member rank. Most of us haven't started with great posts on this forum, so if you make the effort I'm sure you'll one day become a Senior member ;)



It may not be the best advice, but have you tried Google Translate? It's not an ideal way, but looking for words in a dictionary to express yourself can be time-consuming - and if GT supports your language it could help you master English in writing. Over time, you will learn more and more words and you will be able to communicate without or with a little help from such aids.

A good target for you because in less than one year you have moved up the rankings to become a full member and there is still time left until the end of the year to target senior members. I'm sure you can do that.

But I see there are still some bounty reports so for me this is less interesting in terms of this but in other posts of course you provide a lot of insight and learning for all of us.

wow, kudos to you. you did a great job hanging and learning in bitcointalk and gaining your badge in a short period of time.  I've been here way too long and only spend a couple of time just submitting bounty task, lol, I'm not really good at any discussion so I skip everything, so Congrats my friend, you deserved it. Congratulations to you, this is my motivation. I registered in the same month as you. Looking at your posts, I also agree that moving up in the rank is a reward you should get. Some of the most recent issues that are making me a little inactive are the effects of Covid-19 which make my work look a lot. It seems like my idea is lost to write a good and useful one in this forum.

If we make a ratio we can see that more than two-thirds of his post in bounty section. And he have earned most of his merit from very small part of his post at other section. So it's clear to all of us that only informative and qualitative post gets merit. OP deserve the rank what he have obtained. But seems like still he have more interest in bounties. He should move from this trend and focus on making constructive post. Gradually he can gain fame and his English skill will be improve as well.

I wouldn't recommend using all the words that google translate provides when translating. You will have to change some words yourself to make it right. By the way, you mean you register on the forum may 15, 2020 not may 16 LOL. Maybe you forgot it or maybe you based it on your own timezone. Congratulations on ranking up. You have work hard for it to rank up.

First, congratulation for your rank-up. It's a little scary with your account name but good because it's just a name. Lol.

Second, you are free to express yourself any way you want, but a positive way is recommended. I am not the user who posted useful stuff at first. But because there is a will I have a way. Trying and never giving up is the way out for anyone who want to improve their self-image and account reputation, I have tried it and I won't say it worked but at least I was also able to rise to the hero member because of those post. Just like you, I am not a very fluent English speaker because English is not the main language in my country and also where I live. I have to use Google translate to help express my opinion in an appropriate and understandable way. As @Lucius said, I have learned a little bit of English word so sometime I don't have to use Google translate to reply to some message via PM or telegram.

Oh! I'm familiar with this feeling though, I'm yet to get to where you are, it's always a good thing not just to yourself but also to the forum that, a user is doing good in transition to becoming a valuable asset to the forum. Some one to defend it in the surrendering of plaguing storms.

This is the absolute wrong way to gain merit, you know. Improve your posts, I checked them and they're not worth to be given merit. Improve your English, I know it sounds harsh but you'll have to do it if you want to make a quality post in English. Otherwise, you'll have to post in your native language under the correct forum section, if such a section exists. Learn from the OP, they didn't get to be Full Member overnight.

Congrats! I felt the humbleness and the sincerity of your post. You even admit that you committed mistakes while your starting, and it's hard for others to admit their mistakes right. I felt like that feeling too actually, the feeling of being left out cause you didn't understand a thread and it's even hard to understand and write in English, but we have to understand that life is like that. We will only learn things if we will start as a beginner. You're English isn't bad, a lot of users here understand it right away. One thing I realize is we are here to learn, no need to feel like we are left out. I'm still trying to understand things here that are way beyond my brain can process, but we'll get there too.

Maybe one one of your posts belong there unfortunately but it doesn't mean you're considered a sh*tpoeter for the rest of your journey here. Will you rank up if you are a sh*tposter? Of course not! That's my point, don't let a single post dictate your whole being. Look at me, I once accused (twice actually) of being a spammer yet I continue earning merits little by little. See? :)
Psh don't humble yourself too much lol. For me this thread of yours is gramatically correct and you were able to create informative threads as well. Therefore, I think you overcome such hindrances long time ago already.

I admire that attitude of yours. You're doing something that can help you participate in the discussions. :D Just continue with that and surely, your efforts will bear fruit of your labor.

But don't settle with that. Aim to be a good communicator in English by watching videos or reading texts or books in English. You can also enroll in online courses. Though it's not required here in this forum to have great English skills, at least you can improve yourself and use that skill even outside this forum.

Congratulations on your mate, I also feel the same way when I already received 10 merits, I am just going to wait for 60 activity before I rank up. There is a great motivation when someone ranks up in this forum, it can give you the motivation to rank up again and make you more hard work for creating content, unfortunately, I became busy last week because of some personal issue. I am happy that I am here again and can read some quality and motivational posts like this.

It is all our efforts and time that we give in this forum that resulted in ranking up, we can actually apply it in our real life, if we want to achieve something, then we should be hardworking, put some effort and time and good things will come to you.

I hope that I will reach full-member rank one day too! I didn't expect to receive many merits and it is something that is giving us a boost to keep up and write better posts. The language barrier can be a difficulty and anyone that is not fluent in English always has to strive when making a post. I am having the same problem and I understand you completely. As long as everyone can make sense of the post and limit the mistakes there will not be a problem.
