Title: How does this guy bump 9 threads in under 20 seconds?
Post by: sandy-is-fine on October 18, 2020, 03:19:54 AM
Every day for months he logs on and off in 15-20 SECONDS and bumps 9 threads with 6 or so accounts.  If you track all his accounts and the fake and cross feedback you can find at least 10 more accounts a couple of which are banned and/or have lots of red.  But my question is how do you bump all these multiple threads with multiple accounts in under 20 seconds total ? Is there some sort of automated script for that?  Usually he just posts the one word never deleting old bumps sometimes with yet another fake user doing the bumps..  Reported a few times and mods removed a bunch of the "bump" posts but it's not worth bothering them every time for bumping..  Even stranger is he rarely ever answers any questions in his threads or via PM.

Is there some sort of automated script for that?

Technically you could open 9 new posts in 6 different browser profiles (which would be needed to be able to handle multiple logins at once) and click "Post" in each within 20 seconds.

Or could be a script. There are definitely automated posting tools out there.

Must be an automated posting tool.  I don't think he could "manually" do that. It would take more time then that to do each thread one at a time.  This was all under 20 seconds.  :D :D

You can report those accounts and ANN threads with
- ANN threads that are using bumping services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5236143.0)
- [CLUB] The SpamBusters! Busting rule-breakers constantly. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4720640.0)

A script is more likely but the manual option is not impossible. It's definitely doable if you first open the new posts in separate tabs/windows, type in whatever needs to be typed in and then just click the "Post" button in each tab/window - that last part can be done within 20 seconds.

If there are scripts to claim from faucets, I guess the same for posting is pretty much a piece of cake ;D

I just wonder if posting through scripts is allowed on this forum ?  Also is there anyway we can stop the use of such scripts on bitcointalk.
People can misuse these scripts too by posting from multiple accounts (account farming) etc  >:(

Since scripts are client-side and have to communicate with the website, there's no way because to totally prohibit them as long as the requests are legit (for example, sending multiple requests to post).

After all, a forum is a forum so no restrictions are imposed by the software, unless it involves attempting unauthorized access, which by default is a security measure by the SMF + the hosting server.

I remember @actmyname make a topic about the ability to write quickly, I am not sure how many responses he could make but bump 9 threads in under 20 seconds is normal and can be done without the need for any script or bot.

You can set up all the things and click on the Send button, it takes a second or two for each click, which means that in 12 seconds you will be able to upload 6 posts.

If you have time, you can check out this AutoReply open source code: https://github.com/Aero-Blue/BTalk-AutoReply

Is it safe to use these open source code for auto replies and other purposes as they have the control over your account access ?
As i see this BTalk-AutoReply will require your Captcha Bypass Code  :o

Why wouldn't it be? You run the software locally. It won't do what is not written in the code (which is pretty small).

There is nothing wrong with asking for you captcha bypass code. All this does is remove the captcha from the login page when logging in on your account. The script doesn't even contact any server, so there is a 0% chance someone will steal anything from you when using it.

As long as the codes don't require additional suspicious permissions or send some shady requests elsewhere, it'd be fine.

What a slow coach.
The vile vixen aka foxpoop can read perhaps 20 posts on different threads evaluate the and award them sensible and credible amounts of merit in 10 seconds total.

Seconds are vast chasms of time to some here.

You could bump 100 threads with excellent on topic and relevant replies in a min or two if you prepped the messages then just slapped them in and hit post.

One word posts are deleted usually.

When it's possible for a few members to share their sMerits within a matter of minutes (less than 2 and the number of shared merits is very high), then assuming this, we can conclude that it is humanly possible unless it is an AI bot made by LoyceV that could beat the speed of the fastest train in the world. /jk  ;D

What is actually vile vixen aka foxpoop ? Another scripts to bulk posts on threads with proper sentences and not just one word so they are not deleted ?
You need to feed them on what to write and how can these scripts write according to the topic  ???

I'd rather think it's manual work using separate browser windows or tabs for every thread.

Wouldn't it be a lot faster than 20 seconds (or even 10 seconds) if the threads were bumped with a script?

If the script has to log in with different accounts and does it sequentially (one post at a time) then it might take 20 seconds or even longer.

same, I think they are using manual posting and he is not just a one  person but they are a group of people so it is easy for them to do that in just 20 seconds time.
Every account use by different persons then that 20 seconds is enough for them to bump all the thread.

It wouldn't require a script to do that if all the things are prepared already. He definitely logs in the accounts using multiple browsers, copies the links to the threads in some text editor like notepad, and then keeps opening 4 or 5 of them at once and write a single word and then just tap post by switching browsers with shortcut key alt+tab. It wouldn't take more than 2 seconds for you to post a single word from one account in that way.
