It surpasses $12k like hours again, but yeah it's good to see that levels again. But as I have said in a previous thread, $12.8 should be the next target and then we can talk of bull run. Otherwise, I'm still not comfortable as this might be a big psychological barrier for traders to make a sell-off and pocket their profits, specially who have been during the pandemic @$3k range.

Yes we are in August ranges now. Hopefully we will not drop back again as we did in September. Ideal would be we stay in this range fro a month and then make a leg up to $14000 range. Steady healthy growth.

There is one reason that I think make the recent pump. Articles are posted everywhere in social medias about PayPal and crypto. Although to us, this isn't really a very fresh news and this has been reported before. But with the articles that came out lately, this could be the main reason why we've seen a sudden pump.

It's really great that bitcoin have now reach and surpassed it's $12,000 price, and I hope it would stay and continue to pump this year. I also see many people would love to hold and maintain their long-term investment until bitcoin's price reaches ATH again.
This might be the reason of the recent pump of bitcoin because we are now able to shop and buy and sell with our bitcoins. But I am not a big fan of Paypal because I have encountered some issues and problems when it comes of making transactions online.

Personally what it makes me way more positive about this growth than the one we saw months ago is the fact that now bitcoin is leading the way, whenever I see bitcoin losing market dominance in a consistent manner I cannot imagine any scenario in which this is not a speculation bubble, and it is obvious the DeFi market had a lot to do with that growth, but now it seems money is once again coming to bitcoin which makes the possibility of a bull run way more likely.

And this is because while there is no doubt that bubbles form in bitcoin as well at least we can be sure that there is a lot more strength on the movement since it is way harder to push the price of bitcoin than it is to push the price of hundreds of unknown altcoins.

And still climbing mate as it is now running to $12,500 run.

So in the next hours i assume that finally we will break $13k and will declare the start of Bullrun.

I have also read that news before, though that could be one of the reason, but this pump surely has something to do with big companies, corporations or individuals buying into Bitcoin. Btc is literally jumping back and forth by a hundred dollars by the time I'm writing this. There has been a huge buy out, while quick sellers are seizing the opportunity, and so short pull backs are expected once Btc stabilizes at some point after this huge fluctuations.

Bullrun can't be declared until ath is broken.

Yes, I have read that article too. This is one of the reasons for increasing the price. But there may have some also.
I think the price will stabilize in this range and expectations are more from Bitcoin. Expecting a change sooner this month. Hopefully Bitcoin will cross it's last month record soon.

The next resistance is over 14k. A little less actually. But if we pass 14k, there is no theoretical resistance until we do another ATH, although this doesn't mean that we go from 14k to over 20k without taking any steps back.

It doesn't have to be that way we can still have a bull run even if the all time high is not yet broken, and $13 k is not an indication that we are already in a bull run if there is a continuous increase and steadiness of the price, then we can call it that way, but of course we are wishing that we'll have another all time high. 

Up to $12700 right now. Highest it's been this year. I think it's finally ready to take the next leg up, after confirming high-$9k one last time recently and then building back to year highs. Could see a move to $14k soon, then maybe end the year with a correction back to $11k unless things get hot for a bit. Seems like it could finally be ready to move away from the roughly $10k valuation it has seesawed back and forth on for the past almost year and a half.

The market has gained the momentum strongly. It is very likely that we are all set to make 15k before the US election results, if the price gradually increase I am sure we are set to touch new heights in crypto market.

From the past one month the price has pumped to 16% which is a remarkable move, Seems like bull run is coming  very soon.

Yeah, I don't know the reason why almost the altcoin price didn't follow bitcoin price movement especially yesterday.

As for bitcoin price, I have a prediction that its price can pass $13400 soon. We know we have two reasons at least for this market uptrend, firstly I believe it is about the stimulus that is being planned by the US government. Although until now we don't have any information for when the stimulus can be issued but for almost investment places like gold and the stock market are increasing. And secondly, Paypal has accepted crypto currency as a mean of the payment system, that is great news for all crypto market.

$12K resistance was broken easily due to the high volatility of the price, the next resistance at $14K will not be as strong as the previous ones I am also speculating that the price might likely pullback to the last resistance and turns support this could be at $12k else the bullish run will continue till $14K as the next bus stop, all things equal the price might reach the last ATH in 2017 before the year runs out due to the present momentum of the price.
some altcoins like LTC, ETH e.t.c also experience some bullish movement now.

Others might be shifting in Bitcoin as of these moment. But once BTC reached again a certain level before the election or few more days after the election and if it will not bounce back to $11k or 10k price that may result to follow some alts to pump as many will think that ETH and other top altcoins will increase too like it did before whenever BTC rises. The pump of BTC may only result due to upcoming elections and investors are finding ways to secure their investments away from stock market. Hopefully price will still continue to arise even after election.

That Paypal news doing wonders right now, looks like it was the catalyst to the next massive surge in price (paypal giving a small bump to btc, ironic  ::)

We might have started approaching the bull with this price breaking $12k. The end year season has been consistent to be a time for the rise of bitcoin. This has happened in 3years now but with difference in rate of price increase.

At the moment price is close to 13000$. However, this doesn't need to mean anything and so far we've witnessed many times how fragile the price rise can be and how easy this can change. Although it's a positive movement it's yet to see if this growth will continue or is just temporary pump. Let's be patient for a while.

It is really surprising that we are constantly getting higher and higher we have already broken two resistance points back to back and that is a very important achievement for us, it shows that bitcoin will break some more resistance points to be a lot higher if given enough time. 2021 will be a much better year, I don't know at what price we will get into 2021 but I know that it looks like we are going to get in a lot better than we assumed.

Maybe it will be 15k maybe 20k or maybe even higher but I know that deep inside we all assume at least 15k and more will happen before 2021, that is why I am still holding my coins, I could sell right now and make a profit but I am not selling at all, why? Because I feel like there is a chance it could get to at least 15k, I will wait for that before I consider selling.

And now, they changed their stance to bitcoin/crypto. Wonder what is the response of those individuals or companies affected by strict regulations towards crypto in the past years?

But in any case, it just shows that they are now recognizing crypto. Because crypto will exist even without their participation. So to get the market share in crypto, they need to accept it in their platform. If nothing else, this will drive more crypto adoption as PayPal has huge number of users.

It is one that I can say at least the reason of the pump that we're having. I'm surprised that it's able to got up to $12,700 and near to break $13,000. Anytime soon if it won't have to correct, we'll see the peak at that price, $13,000. The feature will start to be active on 2021. It's just a few months away and this news have been confirmed. This adds to the bullish speculation of everyone and it's just a matter of time we will able to see the after-effect of it once it's operating.

Reality is that no matter how much we go down or up, these prices are not huge nor they are too small, they are literally what we can call middle, which means we are going to be around eventually and that means if we fall to anything under 11k, we are going to see above 11k again eventually so there is no problem from buying there, and if we go above 14-15k we are going to go down to these prices as well without a question as well, which means buying and selling at the right time is great too.

These are all great reasons to buy, there is really no reason to sell because if you think price of bitcoin (or any altcoin) will be back to what it is right now, that means there is no downfall, at worst you are going to have to wait a bit but in the end you are going to get your money back at worst.

Im not really much into sentiment when it comes to crypto price movement but this one about Paypal is trying up to tie up with crypto? thats pretty unusual for a centralized platform
to accept crypto.

In that case then i can say that it did really have some effect but i dont see for this price movement to last that long.Best move to be done? Its better to sell out to those people who had
purchased bitcoin when it was still on 11k levels. Selling now isnt really a bad idea to do so.

We are almost breaking or touching 13k which it has been a while where the first attempt had failed and lets see if this one will make it through.

Not surprising. It was expected after numerous pullback. $12,000 is achievable despite a big problem that the world faced during the past months. It's good that prior to this price increase, the price slows down at the $10,000 level which others consider as a good bottom as on that price level, it able to established good support and maintain it for a long period.

What's next? I like to see the price to stay at the current price range. No need for a quick jump to the moon.

^ Anytime soon there will be changed but at least bitcoin was able to broke the $12k resistance. I also expected this and I did not surprise that the bitcoin price was able to reach on that level range. However, I am afraid of the pullback after the surged of bitcoin. This is also expected every time when there is a price surging in the market. Probably a small correction right after having the price pump for a while. Nevertheless, I was expected a more bullish trend until the end of this year and most especially next year.

Got to admit its looking super bullish right now.  It has a little bit of that end of year 2017 bull run feeling.  Who knows though could drop any moment, stick with cost averaging in every week and could end up being a real good 2021 for you.

This price pump was to obvious to come since the pull backs happened few days ago is somehow give us a hint but I also expect that there will be more correction since this is the normal movement of Bitcoin and for that we should act and buy when that thing happen. Next year will possibly see a great price changes since the bull run rumor will provably start on that year and these current figures really shows that the potential to see a big run is huge.

Regardless of the relation to news circulating like paypal and other things indeed, it is a strong booster for this bitcoin price to continue moving upwards, but will this trend continue and continue to strengthen. I just doubt this increase is only due to the news circulating, as that would make the next sharp decline something to be worried about.

The potential to go ahead is very possible. Positive rumors are driving the price of bitcoin strengthening besides other things. But the price of bitcoin is easy to change in an instant. We don’t know what’s going to happen after this. But despite that, this is positive news that many expect will continue.

Good breakthrough and breakout for the optimists who held onto the bullish story from the July rise, thats about 3 months we took to run through any sellers from that prior rise and find ourselves with a new high for 2020.   Its not quite beaten 2019 just yet but doesn't appear to be held back by anything especially at this moment.    Dollar index moved down at this time also which helps cement some of the gain.

There are various theories as to why bitcoin pumped higher than $12k. And as of today it touched $13k, bitcoin deserves to pump since we've been into the stagnant $11k for a few weeks.  And to think it pumped and break the resistance of $12,300 after Paypal said crypto is for everyone (https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-soars-to-12-9k-as-paypal-proves-crypto-is-ready-for-everyone/amp) and they're planning to support bitcoin and other altcoins,too.

The last time I checked the meaning of bull run it says " It is the condition of a financial market in which prices are rising or are expected to rise." I don't see anything that says, "bullrun can't be decided until It reaches new ATH."

The PayPal acceptance is just a big start for another adoption since I'm sure that there are big companies will follow the steps of PayPal and might the government will see this as a good option since slowly by slowly it gets a good success on that PayPal news so provably this is a game changer and confidence booster that people will really look at the bull run coming and provably we can see more than $13,000 on next following months.

If the Paypal news is the reason for this sudden jump in prices so be it. However, there are a lot of good news already like MicroStrategy and Jack's investment on bitcoin, so there's already enough catalyst for this bull run that we are seeing in the last 3 days or so.

It's just really surprising if Paypal has huge impact on the market, yes, they have a lot of users, but it doesn't mean that all of the sudden, they suddenly bought or invest crypto. But I'm not complaining though, and it seems we have set a new higher highs for this year and it could be broken as we are not even in December yet.

Yes, it is a surprise to us because bitcoin can jump to a high price. I am sure many people are waiting for this moment, and they already sell when the price touches $12k.
But I think many people are still waiting for the next high price because they want to make a bigger profit.
If this week's bitcoin price can still increase, I think bitcoin price will have the opportunity to touch $14k or more in the next weeks. Technical analysis is looking really good, we can see a big push for the end of the year and Q1 or Q2 of 2021 we can break the ath.  This is a ride no one will want to miss so get on now while you can.

It's a good sign for the bitcoin that finally for the second time around we already saw the $12,000 per Bitcoin.
But don't expect to rise that coin if many people sell it again if we want to continue the rising of the bitcoin moat of the crypto investors will participate in holding and buying not selling all their assets but they really needed they can sell few but not all.

The Bitcoin market is the one that manages to have more solution than the same gold, this helps the price continue to increase, the more adoption is implemented, the higher the price.

It has surpassed 13k!!! Unfortunately it got a quick correction right back but I saw it go over 13k in my local place for a while, checked some other places and some had over 13k but some didn't had 13k so I assume it was only local and few places that had that. This shows the world that we are going to break over 13k very very soon, we are actually actively trying to do that.

For all the people who are seeing the price under 13k as of right now, I would say it is a great place to buy right now, even though with failing to break over 13k right now, it is actively trying which shows all of us that the direction we are trying to go is still upside, which I believe will happen. Of course it depends on if we can achieve it or not, but I feel like it is going to happen for sure.

I wish the same but we need to be more cautious this time as this is not the first time Bitcoin has crossed the $12k mark infact $13k mark. PayPal's update as well as the fall in price of USD has contributed towards the recent pump but it's not an appropriate time for bull run unless the trend lasts longer and it shouldn't be like last year's short term pump which was followed by a long term bearish market sort of situation.

Really shallow pullback, its far more positive then just this paypal news justifies seems like.   Also the dollar isnt done with these levels probably, rising today and if Dollar index can get past last weeks lows then it might continue to adjust back to the middle of its recent range rather then doing anything new.   BTC doesnt have to mirror that but it'd make it easier if dollar fell.
That'd be quite a surge, again doesnt feel like its ready to make that move but perhaps its a surprise to everyone and buyers underlying lows are why highs appear.   A set of regular buyers will attempt to avoid market front running their buy program, China is doing this with gold for years now and maybe enough market players feel similarly BTC is a long term asset.   Comments I heard are paypal usage is not added utility enough.
   I know a shallow pullback might seem best but if people want 20k a sturdy ladder up needs good rungs or foot holds and that comes from tested levels and selling with volume occuring; a confirmed regular rise in price not froth of a pan boiling over quick and gone.   Cant say I know the nature of its progress but it should confirm more then this normally

It isn't unusual. It's the same as other centralized exchanges service, nothing has been done unusual or new to us. Might be unusual to you because it's PayPal. Selling could be the best choice but if you're only a short term guy and you are okay riding the trend of today's move. And whenever it goes down again, use your profit to rebuy your sold bitcoins. And for the record, we've just broken to $13,000 and we will see if it's going to break $13,500.

$12k already passes, and bitcoin price already touches $13k, although now, the price is still around the $12,900 level.
I am sure that it is just a matter of time for bitcoin to break $13k.
But we need to be careful because we don't know what will happen at the weekend. After all, sometimes, the price can adjust to the lower price before the price has a chance to break another high price.
Paypal update may contribute to the recent pump from $11k to $12k, and if many Paypal users are trying to buy bitcoin from their account, that can lead the price to increase more.
The big movements can happen in this 1 or 2 months, but I think we need more signs to know if the bull run will come or we still need to wait for more.
While the price still does not move to the high price, maybe we can watch for the altcoin because I think some altcoin will make a move, and who knows, the price can increase or jump so high before bitcoin makes another rally.

The time that we hit $11K, we can't climb at $12K and we just keep on slipping back to $10K and $11K. Right now, we didn't just break the resistance to $12K but we also went up to $13K and still sitting there proving that it might stick at that price for some time.

$13k-$14k is what I think for the Bitcoin that able to reach before December. The strong market surge sound not believing as there is still a pandemic. However, even at the start of the COVID-19, we never saw that Bitcoin turns back at the very low instead, we can see an uprising trend which gives us some insights into a bullish despite the economic challenge. Ain't to hold it and reminds us always that Bitcoin has no way to predict what will happen next, it is all been surprising.

We now have a lot of positive comments about the price and it's because of Paypal who would have thought that Paypal will contribute to the adoption of Cryptocurrency they used to go against each other, I guess Paypal realized that Cryptocurrency is the future of payment so they have no choice but to join the community.

I am thinking that PayPal engaged into cryptos in order to generate profit. In this case, this network will be a third party wherein people will be able to buy Butcoin and other cryptos through PayPal without including trades and other transactions. They are more likely doing this because cryptos are having a hype in the eyes of the masses which they would want to take advantage from. But it is something good in this industry due to the influence this huge netwotk will give to other businesses.

The price is quite moving more volatile at this moment and that makes it hard to conclude that its price will either be able to break its ATH or its price will remain in the $11k mark at the end of this year. For now, following the right thing to do is advisable which is to hold-still.

Paypal can't really ignore that bitcoin is one of the best assets so they need to invest on it as well, or being a third party in the growing industry. This is how competition works, initially they see bitcoin as big competition, but then again, if they can't beat it, much better to take advantage of it.

Last couple of months? it's not that volatile, me maintain $10k for more than two months. We just have some movements like a week ago and then in the last couple of days.

They see Bitcoin as a threat for sure but instead of defeating the bitcoins they join and adopt it so for this way Bitcoin will not over lap them as well PayPal will get a benefit for the adoption.

And since the price is going stable at $12,900 at $13,000 for sure there are more pumps coming.

But I'm not expecting for this year to break the ATH since for sure provably we will experience that on year 2021 and the one I see is at nearly $15,000-$16,000.

But as you said I will hold my ground and wait for good time to buy although the price is bit good to accumulate still I want to see some little dumps.

We still have two months and if we have more big news like the PayPal news who knows that will push Bitcoin to break the all time high, the $15 to $16000 level is already good considering that Bitcoin suffered a big fall last march, 2021 if everything is good this coming 2021 then we can reach another all time high, but I always keep in mind that anything can really happen, even the least expected.

They just realized to adopt bitcoin in their system as this will create and engage more users to their platform. So indeed these days is a good news and good movement in crypto market. They are seeing bitcoin as a great opportunity to the users. So for those who have still in doubt about bitcoin should not think twice to join this industry.

I am not going to sound negative but the price might come down a bit before the end of the year and stabilize around 12k for a few months as we enter the new year. I am a bit concerned that since the virus has only decreased and not even vanished yet and there is no tested vaccine either so maybe even the new year will go like this and the price might not hike by too much because it will take a long time to settle down for industries, investors, traders and even the stock market in general.

If at least BTC can hold the 10k value by the end of next year I would be really pleased and if the price goes up then obviously it will be a sweet surprise but at least it should never go below 10-11k now and that is my only expectation from BTC in the new year. Expecting less is sometimes better as you prepare for the worst and get surprised by the best.

We are still sticking at $13K.

I thought it would slide down to mid $12K and be chill in there but still, it is sticking at $13K. You might be right since we are still seeing the price of $13K and still not increasing, the resistance is still there, it is either the price of Bitcoin will stay or stabilize at $11K at the end of the year or I think a price that would slid going back to $10K.

We can't ask for more if BTC stick to $13K (but I doubt), sentiments is leaning towards positive and the greed index is very high again. Meaning that people are in the FOMO and doesn't want to miss a thing and wanted to roll with crypto market specially BTC. So coming November, I'm expecting a continue price increase despite the looming US presidential elections, we might end at around $15k this 2020.

The current market momentum getting stronger day by day, keeping such a thing makes a way for an incoming huge hike. US election, PayPal collaboration, and many others, which I'm so positive that we gonna hit back to $14k-$15k range in the coming days. But then, I hope people won't get weaken their hands if they saw declines along the way as common things to happen in the market. And lastly, don't let FOMO drives them badly because this is the reason why many had badly ended their life in crypto investment.

People will not get panic if there's no huge news that can turndown there attention towards the current situation happening on bitcoins today but as expected for sure it will go to the figure you mention but best not to rely to much on positive pumps given since we are still unsure about the figures coming in future so best to do a short trades while waiting for the pump since it could give us a decent profit while waiting for the bull run coming.

We surpassed the 13k level and while right now we are slightly below that level we are still hovering near that level which is very close to the level that you consider critical, it is going to be interesting what bitcoin does from here, while there is still the possibility of a retracement at the same time I am not so sure we are going to see the 3k level ever again.

It seems bitcoin has left that level for good since not even the crash caused because of the pandemic could get it to those levels and if that was not enough to see the 3k level I do not know what kind of sell off will be needed on order to do so.

At the moment Bitcoin price is slightly over 13k but I'm still not convinced that this is going to be the period of some bigger growth. We"ve seen many times so far that Bitcoin had troubles to keep the level that was omce reached. So far it looks that we can be optimistic but with some amount of caution.

And now it has crossed 13K which means the market is moving ahead strong and fast. I am expecting even 15k by the end of this year and then we might touch a all time high price next year if no new pandemic or anything like that happens.

We sometimes forget how dull the market is and if the price of bitcoins is moving up in such times then imagine what would happen when all the financial problems are solved and people start investing into assets, lot's of people dumped a big part of bitcoins and asset during their bad times and now they would buy it back so the market is going to move ahead at a rapid pace and 2021 might be the year of bitcoins. Yes it is a time of high caution for the trap is open for unlucky investment but the issue for this is nobody can tell what can happen in the market from now because it is not easy to get a prediction right. Cryptocurrency is not easy to know about the times for real bull.

Feels like nothing with a trap. They are not existed this time,I just boosted you and the people around because if we are thinking that thing could probably a reason why we can go far, people are then selling and it dump the price back low.
Yes, guaranteed not that the market will keep moving high but I wasn't thinking that whales are making this as a trap. In fact, they are not controlling the market in first palce and I don't want to rely the future of Bitcoin to their hands.

It has surpassed 13k!! (But right trading just below $13k) People are happy about whenever bitcoin goes up, and there is nothing wrong with that, you could be happy about bitcoin as much as you want because you have the right to be happy about small increases in bitcoin world, however we have to realize that these are expected stuff, bitcoin should be going up during this period anyway, there is no way that bitcoin could stay at the same low levels or under $10k for a long time, this doesn't mean that bitcoin will never be under $10k ever again it could be under $10k again but this is not what we are worried about, we should be worried about bitcoin not going up fast enough instead of not going down.

$13K was a number I always expected, it is finally here, I said I would sell mine at $13k but I realized I know it could go a lot more than this and even if I have to wait years before that happens I will still hold mine.

We never know what will happen.

The price last time I checked was just sitting at $13K, now it is at $13.8K and it might go even higher than this in the upcoming weeks or months. Still, we should wait as the price might go break resistance at $14K. Still surprised it went over $13.5K, I thought it would just be at the mouth of $13K for weeks.

Bitcoin was actually holding in a specific range since $8,000. Though it usually doesn't keep the highest range, but that's kinda normal as short traders are always taking advantage of the mini pumps, so there will be short pull backs to be expected everytime Btc tends to make a run.
Unexpectedly, Btc rose above $10k and breaking many resistance amidst the pandemic, nobody knows this could be a bullrun like the 2017.
The cryptocurrency global market is slowly rising. I don't know what kind of news or price range would you guys prefer to be convinced that Btc is capable of making a huge run anytime.

I am happy to see the price of bitcoin can break $ 12000 and now it is above $ 13000,
I have a lot of hope that Bitcoin can stay above $ 13000 in the future, and make room for altcoins,
because I see almost all altcoins are in decline.

Bitcoin price surpassed $13k and a lot of holders enjoying this momentum in the market. We still have the months before this year ends and I think the price could touch above $14k. I also observe some altcoins are declining but since the price is volatile we can see it bounce in its time.

I understand what you mean, this is a difficult level for bitcoin to keep and we know this is from the historical data we get from exchanges but at the same time we know that eventually bitcoin will have to establish itself at this level that is why people are questioning themselves if this is finally the time, and like always we do not know the answer that kind of question.

However bitcoin is slowly establishing itself above the 10k level and once the majority of its time is spent there then the possibilities we break out from the 13k resistance level become higher as well.

$13800 that happened yesterday is important that was ATH of 2019. So now we went higher then that. It is normal there was a resistance and we bounced back. We will have to attack it again. Maybe many times to go above. But I am happy we set new ATH of 2019 and 2020. Would be bad to see in charts in years to come if 2019 ATH would be higher then 2020. 

The fact is, even years ago when bitcoin reaches to a point, it leaves a mark there and that mark could be legit technical stuff like resistance points or walls or anything like that staying from back in the day or it could also be a psychological one, where we would basically need to break over in order to actually feel like we are safe position.

$10K was psychological for example, we moved up and under that level for over a year, we did that multiple times since the famous 2017 December, it was something we did so frequently that I made a decent income from buying under $10k and selling over it. However this is neither technical nor psychological, this is more about ammunition, if we could keep this going with more buying power, we will see an easy $15k soon, all depends on the amount buyers have.

If it wasnt Friday I'd expect something maybe to happen but I think next week perhaps we move.   Reason I was thinking maybe we move a large amount today is that we've been in a series of contracting range days which I assume does end in a large move one way or the other.

12k seems a fair test to me or about 11500 but before then we have some support in this upper range and it must take this before moving downwards.   Theres nothing longer term to really push down or meet this move with a wall only the plain resistance of higher prices and possible selling in natural rotation of speculative trading.   We can break upwards also and lately its been positive enough to continue doing that but I want to see if it can hold support at various levels.

There are emotional levels where people actually do not understand why it goes above or below those levels because indicators or anything else doesn't show it, only people's minds show it.

For example, $13.8k is like that, ever since we reached ATH at $20k and dropped under it, we haven't moved above $14k as far as I know, 2019 was $13.8k as well and maybe in some rare places it did moved beyond $14k but the average was around $13.6k or so at peak times and only went slightly above for a small time as well.

It means there is a great chance that bitcoin can't go beyond that level not because anything technical or business related, it is not going above that because it hasn't been above that for a long long time and people are not sure if it could even do that anymore so they end up selling before it reaches there.

This is something many never consider when they trade, many only look at the technical aspects but they never realize that behind each one of those charts there is the will of millions of people, personally I did not notice the 14k level was that important but I am going to check the charts and see it by myself, but if true then that level is going to be critical for all of those that are expecting a new ATH.

Right now we are close at it again with a price of 13750 and so far there has been only one serious attempt at surpassing that price which was immediately rejected.
