Title: Watch out for this fake and clone Aave website Post by: cryptomaniac_xxx on October 21, 2020, 09:55:43 AM As usual scammers are still targeting this whole "DEFI" hype with many fake and clone site below.
This time its, AAVE - a decentralised lending protocol which crypto users can take advantage by borrowing different crypto currencies and supposedly earn interest. Actually I tested keyword Aave in Google earlier, it give me some ad, try to click on it, by there's some captcha and after I got every images correct, it went to a Netflix something website. I quickly close that link. However, I can't find that website now, it must have been taken down already. As for this two, it is being promoted by criminals in Discord.

Seems like scammers are really trying to take advantage from DeFi now, since it has become very popular. But maybe it's better to move your topic to Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0)? Title: Re: Watch out for this fake and clone Aave website Post by: mk4 on October 22, 2020, 03:36:51 AM Or better yet, watch out for AAVE itself and other "DeFi" baloney. :P
Jokes aside(definitely half meant on this case), make sure to always spend the few seconds just to report these scam sites: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_general/ Title: Re: Watch out for this fake and clone Aave website Post by: erep on October 22, 2020, 07:07:16 AM The appearance of the phishing website is 90% very similar to the official website and many people may not realize it because the web address is just added "xxx-defi.com", scammers have spread this phishing link in the crypto community and we must be careful and careful.
