No, you can't since it's forbid on this forum. No need to ask mod to answer your question since there is a thread about rules on this forum. But AFAIK you can use your reff link on your signature box.

Please don't spread your refferal link to anyone too through pm since it could be lead a ban for you because of spamming.

I've had some posts deleted recently with ref links in them and then other posts (with ref links in them) go through...  Each admin/mod has their own opinion and agenda on what you can and cannot do.

As @Cryptoababe suggests, have a read of the *cough* unofficial guidelines then check out similar posts in the section you want to post in and see what is Carte Blanche.

You can't post straight-off referral links, but you can post links to blog posts that contain referral links. It's just that you need to make sure that your blog post actually contributes something to the forum and not just a webpage that's just simply referral spam.

that is correct, it is allowed to have referral links in your signature space but lowest rank (Newbie) can not put any clickable links in there, it will be in plaintext form.

Spamming your ref link is against the forum rules, you have the option to advertise a website within your post area but, consider rule 24 of the forum guidelines;
Quote
24. Advertisements (including signatures within the post area) in posts aren't allowed unless the post is in a thread you started and is really substantial and useful.[9][e]
You cannot simply drop replies on other user's thread with your website link as it would be derailing the topic, also if you wanted to start your own thread, you need to put in the effort to make your post worthwhile.

The bottom line is, if you're here to simply promote or advertise a website, you're here for the wrong reason, and would need to contribute and be a part of the community first, or get to the necessary rank needed to wear a signature (there is also the option to purchase copper membership)

So a third party page is fine as long as its not direct referral link? I think Ive saw some like this here. Some make the hyperlink from a keyword but actually its a referral? I read somewhere as long as its not totally visible or kinds subtle its fine with theymos. For example linked a referral link to a keyword but its not actually seen via forum?

Sorry just confuse sometime thinking its almost same with signature with referral link the only difference is signature space allowed it.

I'm fairly sure it's legal that way.

e.g.

I make a post about TA and my thoughts on bitcoin's price on my personal blog that has referral links to Binance, TradingView, and such. I then make a topic here on Bitcointalk with some information about the blog post with the link to the blog post itself. You just gotta actually post some content and not solely the link as posting only the link is pretty much borderline spam.

Referral links on third-party sites are a possibility that people can resort to, but they need to be very careful how they publicize that site in their posts. More often than not, when this is the case, the poster will basically spam whatever content just to squeeze the site into the conversation, with the hope of gaining some referrals. I like @Welsh’s explanation here on the matter at hand:  Is this against the rules? Indirect referral link spamming. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211486.msg53539437#msg53539437).

The best way to go is to include the referral in one´s own signature, which is a simple non-intrusive way to publisize them. Other than that, posting referrals will normally lead to the posts being deleted, and the recurrence of this may lead to some sort of ban.

In most cases the direct ref link will be deleted, although there are exceptions (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178992.0) which again depend on what a moderator thinks about a particular case. Given the OP's intent, I have no doubt that every ref link of his would have been deleted - but it's good that he asked that question and saved a few reports to mods.

Obviously you are not reading the rules here and mods has a lot of things to do to answer question from a newbie when rules are available for all to read, if only people who just sign up here will read the rules here and information about the forum then we can have new members responsible who will grow in this forum as a responsible members, responsibility is knowing what to do and how to do it.

I believe OP got your answer above. But I have two suggestions for you. First of all, you should read the forum rules from the pinned post before start your activities on the forum. If you were read it, then this thread wasn't necessary to create here since the answer is there. It's not only for this forum, wherever you are a newbie, but you should also read the rules or terms & conditions of that platform. So you may avoid a few questions and gain more knowledge.

Second thing is, use the forum search button from the menu bar so that you can get your appropriate answer related to your question. So it will reduce spam and save your time. If in case you fail to find an appropriate answer, then it's good to create a thread.

4. No referral code (ref link) spam. [1]
Based on the forum's rule we are not allowed to post and referral link but anyway welcome to this forum, hoping that you joined this forum not only for that referral link, there are more significant and worth things that you may acquire from this forum.

As what other members have mentioned above, you should read first the rules of the forum and it is already given by other members, hoping that you will spend your time reading it all, it will help you understand more the forum if you want.

I like the kindness you are showing but don't expect too much from him bro. I guess he is just here to post his referral links and promote his website, nothing more and nothing less. If he is really interested in this forum, he supposed to ask about how this forum works and sig campaigns of course ;D not this one. Meaning, he is just into his agenda alone.

Remember that we can't please everybody to treat this forum as a place where you can learn (like a usual forum).  Sometimes, some people are coming here only for other opportunities.

Referral links are not allowed in this forum except to include in the signature, many beginners think it is a great opportunity to spread the referral link on this forum because it has the largest cryptocurrency community in the world. Unfortunately, you don't have a chance to get a single referral because the rule of prohibiting the posting of referral links makes the forum cleaner from spam referrals.

I sold Netflix account to Coolcryptovator. He said he will pay after I give him the account. Now he is not paying. Not even looking at my messages. He is using its account to build a trust, he is liar.
With their trust rating, i doubt they would scam people. If you claim is legit, just pm them or open accusation about that on suitable section.

Anyway, your post is off topic

Read my previous post, and all other posts in this thread - and then you'll be able to write a more meaningful post than what you wrote. Referral links in posts are allowed in some cases, but this is very rarely allowed (see link in my previous post), so you are wrong in interpreting the rules, they can certainly adapt to each individual situation, and as we have already concluded it depends on who evaluates it.

So indirectly references are not allowed and it has been clarified here, even if the link above, if you read carefully you will find the answer.

Sometimes newbies don't want to do a search on this forum before creating a thread and that often happens to newbie members.
In fact, I am concerned about all the rules and how to make the correct reference, it has been explained in this forum that it is just a matter of finding and which one you understand in that context, I am sure this question will not be repeated.

I don't care about his trust thing. He send me the link that leads to his profile from Telegram. I trusted him now he doesn't even answer me. Please help me. He is the scammer. He owes me $3. I only use this site for it is Digital Goods and Accounts & Invites section. I don't know how to use this site properly.

I have screenshots showing him how he scammed me. I can send anyone who wants.

The proper way to handle this is start a scam accusation thread in the proper section and put all the screenshots there.

If they are convincing I'm sure someone with default trust will help you and leave a comment in his profile and then he'll pay you to get this removed. Negative trust will probably be worth more to him than $3

Stop posting here about your problem, we have an appropriate board for that -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Furthermore, the fact that someone sent you a message on the Telegram claiming that is someone from this forum (in this case Coolcryptovator) does not mean that it is really about that member. Anyone can send a message to your Telegram claiming to be someone else, so it is not advisable to do such transactions via Telegram - but to use private forum messages. It's an old trick used by scammers, and you're just another victim - don't use something you don't fully understand.

OP, your posts are of low quality, you don't read the rules before posting, you don't post on your local boards even though your English is bad and you spam the boards everywhere around with your stupid questions.

You won't make a lot of friends here if you continue like this.
