I am marketing déveloper from algeria, enthusiat in crypto.
We are working actually with algerian government to approve using bitcoin . we are volunteer in this project because i believe in crypto .
If algerian goverment accept using bitcoin it means more transaction , more success for bitcoin community.
We have making big steps on projection, i think will ne approved on march 2021.
Our work will not stop just in algeria, if we have help we can make it all over africain continent.

Good luck with what you do guys. You're doing it for the community and I'm sure that if you get a go signal from the Algerian government, this is another big news. When you have been started talking with your government? It's already enough if they will say that there's no red flag of using bitcoin in your country but I doubt it that they will endorse the use of it. The go and green signal is sufficient for the support of bitcoin but I don't think that it will go more than that.

Well, If you're here asking for some donations then you should make your post more informative in order to you get some donations.

Bitcoin Community is already huge and more countries are now accepting it. In Algeria Bitcoin and crypto currencies were totally banned in 2017, so I'm hoping of it to be lifted. Good Luck!!

What is your project all about?

I believe that Africa will soon open themselves in cryptocurrency. They will whole heartedly accept bitcoin as a whole and integrate it in their economy. Africa will gradually adapt cryptocurrency. You have to begin it OP and I hope that your project will succeed. In case you want some promotion, bitcointalk.org is always open for projects.

What can you say is the need for such btc donation? Can you say what it will be used for. Do you intend to give some to the government officials to accept to approve the use of bitcoin or you want to give to the public to adopt the use when they investing in it so that the government will approve it.
I think the donation need to be explained.

This sound great any way because it will allow for more adoption and usage of cryptocurrency in that country, I wish you goodluck on that my advice is you must be ready to face strong resistance because government thing never come easy it has to do with loads of paper works and back door activities which may not come easy. Legislature's will consume your time and you will have to make every step clear to them but if this succeed it will open up new opportunities the the citizens.

I can't say what the situation is with cryptocurrencies in Algeria, except I remember that it was one of the countries that allegedly officially banned it. How much has changed in the past 2-3 years is best known to those who live there, but if there is truth in what is written in this thread then things are getting better.

When we talk about community support and donations, it is important to point out that everything depends on the degree of transparency and professionalism, which certainly cannot be based only on nice words. Someone who works closely with the government should at least have a website that would present basic guidelines, projects, and other relevant information to the public.

Posting "We are working with government, support us with donation" without any evidence, it's a bit like trying to hunt in muddy water - but that doesn't give good results.

I appreciate your initiative man, we need people like you who push for societal growth. Among all countries in Africa, I noticed how active Nigeria is in dealing with cryptocurrencies, I feel like they are going to be the first country in Africa to successfully adopt bitcoin or any crypto. The only drawback it will probably bring is when people starts to use it illegally, like buying stuffs online avoiding customs taxation or anything that hides with their law.

Mate, I would request you to share some more details about your project or else atleast DM your project details so that I could share the details with various crypto enthusiasts group which I know, but please don't expect any donation without providing a solid evidence and proof because most of the investors have been chested by scam projects.

But if it's a genuine project then it would be a great initiative for Algeria.

maybe add some links where you can tell they have ongoing discussion with the government. or dedicated website for this particular project. basically, everyone can claim they are working with the govt to move forward with bitcoin adoption. but don't expect that anyone can just send you funds as donations to your cause, without solid basis of what youre talking about here.

we may like your cause, but you have to show the authenticity of this cause by providing necessary links.

The idea is good for huge adoption but the one you are asking is bit sketchy since I'm sure many will turn down the donation ask since there are so many scammers use those flowery ideas just to scam people. Better build a reputation nor give a result first without asking any donation since for sure many will come to help if they see some progress of your plans.

Hello ! If you want to donate, you can make more detailed explanations on the subject.  For example, do you have any evidence that the Algerian government is interested?

Hopefully, you can achieve your target by the end of next year. However, personally, I think it is tough for an African country to integrate bitcoin in their network. As you can observe, most of the countries locating on this continent are under-developed and many of them are third world country which are considered as barriers blocking them from utilizing this technology. If a developed country cant not even make a change in their monetary system, how can a third country be capable of meliorating their economy ? I am very appreciate what you are doing right now. But I still think it is a hard work with much efforts in order to keep you from working and working

That would be a good move for the part of the Algerian, bitcoin may help them for financial status. I am thinking if that project would be already organized and good for the time you have given.
Your intention is good but with this, you are making other members include me doubt, many scammers in this virtual world are trying to get some money for other people, I don't think that there would be someone who will donate for this unless you have strong evidence for the thing that you are going to do for the donation.

Many countries has legalized the use of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin which is popular among all, it will be absolutely nice if Algeria as a country acknowledged the use of bitcoin in the country, because from my research their is no difference between values of bitcoin and money in society because what money Doe's cryptocurrency can do it more better especially bitcoin, so I not see anything wrong if Algeria federal Government create the legacy or make an impact by implement use of bitcoin in their federal law Maker or White house as decisions takers of the country.

Find some angel investor and make them understand the true value of the project. Surely you'll receive good investment if the investors find your project to worthy. No need of requesting for donations and all. If the government is supportive then developers can join hands and develop the project phase by phase. On the launch of first phase itself one can understand value of the project through which further investments can be received.

Suppose you are really dedicated to spreading the usage and benefits of having bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology in Algeria as a crypto enthusiast. In that case, I wish you luck because many people have tried to persuade others about buying bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But they failed because not all people are not into investments and can afford to have bitcoin as a currency.

It a good thing that you guys volunteers yourself to work on making crypto legal in Algeria but if your program was indeed a voluntary project I dont think you need the forum to make any sort of donating to your project since we have private companies like Coinbase who have sponsored so many crypto related projects. However, you cant get the help you are looking for on this forum due a lot lies done by crypto scammer and your best bet if you guys are genuine is to get in touch with Coinbase. Thank God that Algeria are now ready to legalized bitcoin in their country. Most of their leader where thinking that BTC is a scam that their government will never allow such digital currency to stand in their country. I even saw it on an article how the government is happy because cryptocurrency will be legalized in the country next year.
I think the government will create a good learning center for all cryptocurrencies users where they can aquire more knowledge about crypto in the country. I believe this will be a welcome development to Algeria.

good job sir, and today the amount of bitcoin transfers in africa has increased 56%.  Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria participate in bitcoin transactions, and finally, the South African currency has lost about 50% of its value against the US Dollar in the past decade due to crypto volatility.  I think Algeria will make a positive decision.

The project is all well and good but i've also heard negative news in Algeria that there are ton of scammers that exploit people with these kinds of scheme's. It would greatly benefit you, if you can show us the project or atleast portfolio of your recent works to verify your a developer. Heck, i don't even know what a marketing developer means. Do you code or market? Or is it both?

Why we should donate for you to do that? To tell about bitcoin to everyone is very easy you don't need some capital to do that. I often to do so in my country especially to my friend, yeah there is some of my friend who start to use bitcoin. Although until now they only use bitcoin just for a place to gain profit like trading or investing since my country who just include bitcoin to a commodity stuff but at least I have tried to promote bitcoin. You can start to make a group on social media like facebook or whatsApp and you can share about bitcoin to them that is an easy way. Because whey they already know about it I'm sure they will to everyone out there about it and finally your government will regulated it.

If Algeria can accept bitcoin in the next year, that will be good news because that means bitcoin will have more support from Algeria. However, Algeria is not a big country like other countries. If that country can accept bitcoin, that will be a good sample for the other country near that country to learn about bitcoin. Maybe the other country will accept bitcoin too, and if that happens, bitcoin will grow more than now.

But wait, if you said that you are working on the Algeria government project, I think you have a financial backup from the government. You don't need to get more support from others because your government should think about it before creating a project. But if your project is almost the same as the other project that launches here, then I can not say too much, but I can only say that good luck with your project, and we will wait and see how your project looks.

All over African continent? But there are already countries in Africa that are making use of cryptocurrency, your country just chose to ban it. I know of some countries where cryptocurrency, and not just only Bitcoin, is legal and to mention a few we have Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Botswana, Kenya, and Botswana.

So, there are already countries there in Africa that are making use of crypto and Nigeria just launched its first Bitcoin ATM, I think that was earlier this year around May or so, can't remember exactly. So other countries should follow in their footsteps and legalize cryptocurrency in their own country. I hope that what you guys are fighting for there becomes a success.

It is a good thing if bitcoin is better known throughout the world including Algeria, of course this will be positive news because each country has a large population so this can add to the development of bitcoin in a day, hopefully this will happen quickly.

Good luck with your project. My country Bangladesh also banned bitcoin years ago. But we are seeing some hope in the recent days that our government can accept bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in the near future. They are thinking about this technology. Hope we will unban it soon.

Algeria really must use bitcoin so that they can change the way they live and must have a goal of a higher heights. But first we need to consider the basic knowledge of algerian peoples when it comes to trading because even if they are allowed to use bitcoin if they don't know how to use it, it will be worthless. Second is the availability of resources, if they don't have enough money to buy bitcoin then we cannot say that they have an opportunity to be rich even though they can still earn but not too much.

Its not that we cannot support you just by donating Bitcoin. It does not work that way. For one country to use Bitcoin, you must first establish a place in which you can gain your personal Bitcoin or invest or buy a large amount of Bitcoin to save up. You also need to present the pros and cons of using Cryptocurrency with possible investors since a project would not push thru if its only made for personal use.

I don't understand how you want to get a government in your land convinced to start making laws that will get citizens to use bitcoin when they are not convinced by themselves. It can be difficult and what you are using bitcoin donation for in the marketing, is it transportation, filling of gas in your cars or recharge of data use? ;D

There is a chance for the group involved to convince the Algerian in other for them to support Bitcoin since some Arab countries have already welcome cryptocurrency while some are planning to create their national crypto and if the group are not positive that the government would accept their proposal they won't have taken the bold step in the first place.

I also asked what is the purpose of donating bitcoin, because you did not explain your project in detail, we assumed it was just an alibi to get free bitcoin. Sorry, I'm very supportive of anyone in the community of any country that supports cryptocurrency but we need to see the proof of your project for the verification step.

Donate? Its seems you are already one of the government trying to influence other board sectors. This have nothing to do with donations, its just showing the impact of bitcoin in improving some fault in the country payment systems, its really disgusting asking for donations as it may seems to be that you are a scammer, although your ideas is a perfect one for Algerian and African as a whole.

If you want to get support and donations to get Bitcoin accepted by the Algerian government, seems to have to provide detailed information.
If you only make a topic like in the opening post, it will be rare for someone to believe it, and you will be accused of being a fraud. If you only
want free Bitcoin, you need to provide proof that your project exists.

If may I know, what project did you develop in Algeria, I am a little curious.

As far as I know, the community in Algeria is familiar with Bitcoin / crypto 'generally' in 2013 and until now.
And most of them make transactions against Bitcoin on well-known exchanges currently supported by the government and also national and international banks.

What donations do you mean here.

Good initiative from the good people of Algerians, but my question is: what about their banned of Bitcoin some years ago? have they reconsider the technology to accommodate it usefulness?. This is a good one from Africa Country again like the Nigeria who adopt the said Bitcoin recently. This technology will go a long way to help the African Countries free from the slave masters who have dominated us through these years. The freedom Bitcoin gave should be well appreciated by the underdeveloped countries.

For support, the project should be in-line with transparency and team professionalism before make request for such in this community, the community will be happy to get involve when there's absolute professionalism and project transparency.

If the Algerian government endorses and uses bitcoin, then it is a huge leap in the process of bitcoin's adoption in the mainstream world.
I believe this move by the Algerian government will most likely instigate other African countries to adopt bitcoin and other crypto at large. I've come to realize that Africa needs some one or country to spearhead a project and others will follow suit.
Although bitcoin's usage in Africa would be more difficult and tasking than the rest of the world due to level of illiteracy there, I believe the first step is all that needs to be taken and time will take care of the rest
