In the past 6 days Bitcoin price has went up and at most time passing the $13,000 line showing the highest price of this year. Will BTC stay around $13,000 line or will BTC reach another new high price before the end of the year?

Bitcoin is unpredictable, there’s no guarantee that it will stay above $13k but hopefully yes because if Bitcoin sustain this momentum, then more heights to be reached and that’s good for the hodlers.

Over the past days, bitcoin hits $13k and experienced a short pull back but now we are able to hit the price of $13400 a good sign of a better future, we don’t know so don’t over confident.

Above $13,000 BTC is facing very very stick resistance because of the heavy accumulation of the profit and short creation in the BTC futures market. So, if the fresh buyer comes at this level then for a long time the price will hold at this $13,000 and it may see a sharp growth towards the $15,000 after 3 months.

I keep watching the price of Bitcoin and now it reach $13k let's hope that it will stay on the line or maybe surpass it but we all know that the price of Bitcoin is volatile and unpredictable so we are not really sure what could be the price of it in the future.

Think in long term, maybe BTC can go down, but in few years.... The increasing will be awesome!

Due the level of the Paypal implementation of Cryptocurrency hype, the Bitcoin mining difficulty and how the market maintain the $13,000 price range when the Bitcoin transaction experience network congestion these days I expect to reach another new high price which will be above $13,000 before the December to January market correction happens.

from my point of view Bitcoin price can go above 15K- 16K value as there is resistance to that value if the rally continues. At the moment BTC is trading at around 13.6K. On the downside, it has strong support of 12K, and if drops further, it will reach towards 10K. From a trading perspective, I see a good upmove for the short term from here.

Don’t expect that much for Bitcoin to stay above this level, I mean we have a better chance for this one but because of volatility it made me doubt. We are close to reach the level of $14k this can be a good sign and all we have now is to hope for a more good news with because so we can stand above at least the price of $12k, not a bad price at all.

I believe it will become higher the value of the bitcoin not only 13k dollars is possible for this year but the the highest value of the bitcoin which is 20k dollars is chance to see again this 2020 or when end this year if not lets still have 2021 or enxt year to achieve that value but now I believe it will increase more the highest price of the bitcoin of this year and it is really possible  to happen.

No one knows but theres some probability yet it did fail to go back to 12k level or 11k level where the price is trying to play above or level on 13k and now we do have some significant movement which we are
almost heading up to 14k if these gradual increase would continue and theres no much huge sell wall into those resistances.Pull backs or corrections is anticipated though but this is the hardest part of question
if the price will able to withstand or stay up? No one knows because it all matters with the market demand.For now the best thing to be done is to utilize these movements to make profits.
Just be careful on the volatility yet we wouldnt know if it would shoot up continously or playing with ups and downs.

No one knows about it, no one can tell if this will be the time that we can no longer see $13k again on the price of bitcoin and will stay above on that price. As the years passed many companies are entering and using cryptocurrency so hopefully it will help bitcoin  to stay in a high price.

conditions now are very bullish for Bitcoin, the target this year is said to be at $ 20000,
but it has to go through $ 15000 first, I am sure Bitcoin can go through that severe resistance,
indeed altcoins will become victims, but once Bitcoin reaches a new ATH, altcoins will repeat history.

I believe not only the value of 13k dollars will be the highest of the bitcoin because they chances for this coin to turn back to it's highestprice last 2017 and that is 20k dollars it will happen if the crypto user will be united like doing if holding , buying and advertising the cryptocurrency. And we need to maintain this value and hope will not become lower to 12k dollars is my ideal lowest value for this month until the end of 2020.

It will exceed $13,000 and of course much higher before the end of the year. A year of upheaval but bitcoin is still growing, Paypal has entered and there will be lots of good news.

Maybe yes but imo it shouldn't be. because the good side of this market is the volatility. If it stays over 13k there wont be good chance for new participants. Downtrend market is also good sometimes to give opportunity for new comers.

We almost Got the $14k position yesterday though some downwards happen now and we fell into $13,600 again from 800 .
But for me i think we are staying here now or might fall down to $12,000 level again but for a short period of time and Hit the top back until next year when the expected effect of bullrun.

No one has a crystal ball, so who knows. Based on my experience, I expect it to eventually go down, some more sideways before a next level price pump, but I would rather see straight moon, of course :D

If we are able to break the big resistance we're touching right now, 20K could be reachable in the short term, maybe before the end of this year.

And once broken the ATH, sky is the limit.

I don't know for now but because of Bitcoin's BTC recent upside moves, I think the price is due for a correction back to $12.8k price levels. At the moment, Bitcoin is close to a critical monthly resistance. The same one that held back 2019 high before it started retracing back. If Bitcoin cant break it, the price will retrace back to the closest support. Additionally, The US market is like a few days away and legacy markets are always known to drop in times like that.

The recent spike in the price of bitcoin is even a surprise to everybody as the support had been in the $10k for a longer time now, in fact nobody knows the value at the end of 2020 but we are just hoping it surpassed and reaches the all time high this year. However, the recent acceptance of bitcoin by PayPal companies might be another factor behind the price of bitcoin, so we are just hoping to break another ATH this year or earlier next year.

I'm following bitcoin’s fluctuations right now and it's making very drastic moves. If it stays above $ 13000 for the next few days, it doesn't seem like it will decline easily. It wouldn't be a surprise to see a new ath by the new year.

Not sure about the new high but kinda sure that $13,000 is not the highest level Bitcoin could achieve this year.

The previous all time high is $20,000 which was achieved way back in the year 2017. That is too high to consider for now although still very possible because we still have more than 2 months left in 2020 and the movement of Bitcoin is showing enough signs of a bullish 4th quarter of this year.

We can just set it aside for now and focus on the $15,000. That is very much within reach.

currently still stuck above $ 13000, yeap, this is very good for Bitcoin, hope to get out of the bearish zone, and resistance at $ 14000 is broken,
lots of good news in Q4 this for Bitcoin, one of the Singapore banks will launch a cryptocurrency exchange inside,
and Toyota will also follow blockchain, mass adoption has already started.

Personally I think that if the growth is just based on speculation it is going to be almost impossible for bitcoin to go above its ATH, the psychological barrier at that level will be massive and as soon as that level is touched then the price will go down as everyone begins to sell expecting for the drop not realizing that their collective actions are the ones causing the drop to begin with, personally I think a more realistic scenario is that bitcoin keeps growing but does so very slowly until we reach a price of 15k to the point it becomes its new support level then we remain there for some time and finally we let hype take is course, but what do I know, bitcoin always ends up doing whatever it wants. :P

The current price of bitcoin stay above $13k so no one knows if the price will stay at this stage for long or it will continue to increase this time. If we experience a decline below $13k it is also good for some who want to buy back or accumulate some bitcoin. Good to see this movement of bitcoin that at least price is $13 level and I’m positive about that price will have change this year ends, just my opinion. 

People worry too much if bitcoin hits $ 20k before the end of the year, but I think it's cheap for the current bitcoin price, but we'll wait for it at the end of the year, I guess why not hit $ 20k, at least in the past there was a decline in prices but not completely the same as history as a whole, I believe in this third halving moment, bitcoin is different from before maybe even crazier than before, let's see it sticks above $ 13k and hits hard next

i don't think we will have strong hold now,instead the correction needs to happen for us to take the bull run atlast .

Maybe we will fall shortly to $12,000 level then will bounced back to 13k and then finally take the 14,000 level in which we are waiting for another hype.

Even by creating just my own thought, I can't answer this nor create another speculation.

Not a good price movement if BTC will just suddenly hit another ATH without strong support from each level. The 2018 bearish market after ATH will just repeat.

Like to see a resistance that happened around $10,000 previously where bitcoin price sits on that level for long. Others considered that level as a bottom too. Hopefully, around $13,000 will also be considered as the bottom someday then that's the start, level by level.

I think many investors are waiting for the new bull run. At the moment, I don't expect the price to start falling. If there is any drop below the $13k level, it will only be for a while. I think we will only watch the green charts for the next few months.

Based on my analysis, it is possible that the Bitcoin price will continue to rise, because it is now at the price of $ 13,300.
And there is no sign that the price will go down again. But Bitcoin's price is likely to end the year at only $ 15,000. Because
I'm not sure Bitcoin can reach a price above $ 15,000 later this year. So my advice is to keep holdings your Bitcoin, do not

No one can say, the market is very volatile and news that concerns the industry will have an impact on the market whether bad or good news if there are more good news coming the price can retain it's position or it might even go up, the worst case scenario is for us to receive bad news like another hacking or investors losing millions again, this is the kind of thing that will bring the market down.

Most of the people relate the growth of bitcoin crossing the $13000 barrier as the impact of paypal into cryptocurrency business. I don't think this is the true reason for the growth. This year the growth pattern have varied from other years. This means what we've been experiencing is the gradual growth associated with real time market changes associated with demand to supply.

and in my predictions depends on current situations, i think bitcoin price will stay above $13.000 even growing more if more good news coming to crypto space

Short and mid term pretty unpredictable, no single clue where its going. Long term I'm confident it will go up big. Since market is volatile, anything could be happen. There is no sign of negativity, more people buy and hold. It give strong evidence Bitcoin's price is likely go upward.

MCobian, there is a sign that the price will go down again cause crypto is a volatility market and the only reason why the Bitcoin market hasn't experience any form of market manipulation is because network confirmation status which prevents arbitrage trader from executing their daily trade.
lifeOK, there's clue and if the PayPal hype still persists, the market will easily snap out of a downtrend.

The end of October shows that Bitcoin is gaining weight and popularity. As soon as I do remember, over 55% Americans are interested in buying BTC. Moreover, there are ATMs for the main cryptocurrency, but also yet only in the States. Hope to see them in my country.

If the price can't handle and be stabilized at current price of $13k, there could be a possibility that it may fall back at $12k. The situation remains unpredictable in every fluctuations, and thinking of a price that go beyond I don't think so. For now I must be neutral on this current changes that I see at present market breakdown. I think Bitcoin will hit a new high, and I'm sure it will be around Christmas or closer to Christmas. and in the next year, it will definitely be even higher.

Last couple of times it has touched 13k and fallen at bit but then from their it started to bounce back and again back above 13450$. So this is a good sign that we are seeing resistance above 13k and if any dip here is just an buying opportunity for me and those who want to be part of the bull run then buying and holding is a good thing.

Actually no one knows since bitcoin's movement is unpredicted.

This scenario already happened before, the price consistently increase and many investors thought that we might be in another bullrun again but it didnt happen.

Its been almost 3 years since the last ath but we're not certain when will the price can reach or surpass that value again. All we can do is to wait and be ready to take advantage the price of bitcoin.

Well,,, I will always remember saying in 2018 and 2019 when people kept saying the bull was here that I thought it would take a lot longer, this year at the earliest and I guess we just have two more months to reach my own thoughts. I still will not say next year is it for sure, but the strength of Bitcoin does look at the highest since 2017. We can only wait and see now to see what happens. Hang in for the ride. I think we still see $10k tests a few more times.

Always limit your expectation mate,never expect much because we will fail much.
Obviously we are on the same trend mate,because halving happens this year and usually the result and effect took a year before we can fell it.

With cryptocurrency it is quite hard to make the right prediction of the changes. The changes will happen drastically without any form of prior signs of change. Today there is downward deflection in the price of bitcoin as well as altcoins. This looks to be an opportunity to profit out of the variation, but the hope of rise makes people to hold than getting into trading activities.

Well, people just didn't wait even 1 second to run and buy bitcoin as soon as they heard the news about paypal and right now there are still a lot of people who are buying bitcoin because of that news. I don't need superpowers to imagine what is going on in the minds of many people, they must be thinking: "paypal has many customers and with this news there will be many potential customers for bitcoin". But the problem is that we still haven't seen it in practice and people have already rushed to buy as many bitcoins as they can.

That's true, no one can really tell if bitcoin will stay above 13,000$ because we all know that the price of it is too volatile but it's a good sign for us to see bitcoin touch 13,000$. Based on what I see there's are some news that brought bitcoin to increase like the news in Paypal which totally affects the price. I agree that we just need to wait and hold our bitcoin until it reached again it's all-time high.

The current price is above $13k so hopefully we could see bitcoin price will continue to increase before year ends. People have its own predictions regarding the market value and also we could not tell what will going to happen. Yes that’s true since market is volatile we could also catch the oppoortunity to accmulate some btc

If bitcoin continue it's movement like it was doing past few weeks then we might see a new ATH of bitcoin price soon. But can't say surely where bitcoin will be at the end of this year, still two months left. Recently the effects of covid-19 pandemic has started increasing again. If it cause another crisis then we can't expect new high price within this year. US election may create little impact in bitcoin price. It's just my thought not sure.

I am almost positive it will not stay above $13000 forever. We are less then 10% above, so one decent correction already throw us under $13k. What I really hope is that Bitcoin will never go under $9000, because I am sick and tired of Vegeta memes.

We can't know for sure what bitcoin will do, plus 13k is very nearby so there is a good possibility that just one more fall and we could be under 13k, we should take a look at it more from the 10k level, because if you do 10k you are going to end up with much further away fall and that is why it would be harder.

Plus 10k was a psychological level where it was very hard to go over 10k and whenever we did we also went under, even in 2019 we managed to reach to 13k+ again but during 2020 pandemic times the bottom was 4k and that shows you that no matter where you go up, there is always a chance that you could go down. This is why I believe it is quite important that we should focus on what we have right now and not what we could go down to, that type of anxiety could cause you to always miss out on profits.

This is good that the Bitcoin's price hit and stays at $13,000 I personally hoping that it would be like the peak time of Bitcoin wherein the price rush toward the peak before the year ends. This 2020 has full of unfortunate events and let's hope that there would be some good news before the year ends.

Why is it that this thread is on Speculations for altcoins? Btw, we are hoping that $13,000 would be the best support until the end of the year but it wouldn't stay there for a long time. At least we get to have it for a month or two before proceeding to another height then that's a favor for us.
Knowing until when it will stay on the $13k lines, we don't know. The volatility of bitcoin has never been correctly predicted.

And we are looking at $ 15k, after big news coming to the market. Specifically, the confirmation of participation from Paypal, I think this will be the premise leading to the participation of many large corporations in this market.

Well for me i think 13,000$ price of bitcoin will be the stable bottom because of these reasons, the well known paypal accepted crypto, more and more companies are into bitcoin next year,  the same month when btc starts its bull run last2017, and lastly christmas is coming.

$13k rate has passed by bitcoin and it looks like bitcoin will be making the 14k as the bottom floor. There will be more institutional investors bought bitcoin and this will be happening very soon but it's very sad to see bitcoin will be dominated by the whales.
People with billion dollars can buy so many bitcoin at once.
That will make less and less bitcoin will be available in the market. More price less supply as people will use this as their investment.

It is good to see such price rate of bitcoin but don't get too comfortable that we will not go down a lil bit again. That's part of crypto market. We can never say never. Just be ready on whatever direction it will go especially if you are day trading the btc to get profits.

If you look at the price movement of Bitcoin which is slowly increasing, I am optimistic that until the end of the year Bitcoin will increase in price.
My prediction is that the probability of Bitcoin reaching a price of $ 15,000 is very likely. Therefore, continue to collect as much Bitcoin as possible.
Don't sell Bitcoin at the current price, keep holdings our Bitcoin until the end of the year. Hopefully the $ 15,000 target is reached.

Although the market is very unstable and there's no guaranty that we will wake up each day with the price still the same, it could go up or could go down, because every day there are a new development and bad news coming in, so we must be prepared on any situation, only invest what you can invest should be your guiding principle when investing in a highly volatile market.

$15,000 is very doable at the end of the year, it looks like btc is bullish and will probably keep this up trend with occasional correction,  definitely the best idea is to hold btc and don't sell till year end because it is possible price will go even higher, btc has dominate the market and alts are just stalling for now, I was hoping there will be a correction down to 12k-ish but it looks like it won't happen.

What we are seeing right now is basically the end of the year hype which happens time to time, if it is financially solid year it is going to start even better but I think 2020 wasn't financially good for anyone so I assume it is going to start sucking very bad soon in a few months as well.

Not like it matters because it is quite important to realize that people do not really make changes in their lives just because it is a specific date, Christmas or Halloween or anything else doesn't really change much in your life and the only one that could change is the new year because all around the world in new years there is usually a bonus given in many companies, not all of them but there are many that does it which "may" go to crypto. I say 2021 late spring will be the time we move beyond $20k because of these things all combined finally growing together.
