As mentioned in the other poker thread, Betnomi has expressed to me interest in sponsoring the tourney on their site. I have been playing the software for a week or 2 now and it's not bad at all.

The purpose of this thread is to get information from all of you interested in playing. What we need to figure out are the following:

• Day of game
• Start time of game
• Number of games in the series
• Starting stack
• Buy-in
• Extra fee for pool weekly
• Blind levels

Anything I have left out also needs to be mentioned. Anyone interested can also pm me for my affiliate link. Noone is required to do so, but if ya don't mind then shoot me a pm.

It's worth noting that Betnomi has bitcoin deposits but the balance is shown in USD. We should keep this in mind when deciding the buyin and extra fee for pw.

Betnomi is willing to put up $1000 for the championship and $300 for the losers tourney. I'll have them post here shortly to confirm.

I gave it a try yesterday as well after it looked like we could shift our game to Betnomi. Software is quite good and I don't have any objection to that.

I would for start keep all the things same as on SwC poker, meaning,
Game on Sunday, same time as before
8 games per series (about 2 months)
Starting stack 5000
Buy in per week about 1.5 mBTC, 1 for tournament and 0.5 for the rest if keep the lottery as well

I believe that the old conditions were well balanced.
Matchday should be sunday as most people usually have time there, start time should be considered for EU and NA players since most of the regulars are from there?!

With further rising bitcoin price one would have to consider the buyin perhaps but for now 1,5 mBTC (buyin + fee) should be fine for everyone. :)

At the current price, sponsored money sits out at 0.075 BTC for the championship and around 0.022 BTC for the losers tournament. With that being said, I don't see any reason why shouldn't we host the next series on Betnomi. That's roughly 0.04 BTC more than what SwC was sponsoring so far.

About day, time and starting stack, I agree with @Trofo. It would be good to leave those as it is. 5PM GMT, Sundays, one game a week, 8 qualifiers and 5000 starting chips are fine.

About buy-in, $15 entry fees imo would be perfect. We can maintain rest of the pool in BTC itself. 0.0002 BTC for championship and 0.0002 BTC for lottery pool. So that would be $15 + 0.0004 BTC for every qualifier.

We can start the series from 8th November. :)

I was thinking something like a $15 buy in and 5$ for the championship game. $20 in total for each game. I would have to look at the lottery you guys did in last series, hadn't planned on adding it to this.

There is player to player transfers on betnomi, so someone could hold the added pool money.

Anyone who wants to help out with a few things, feel free to reach out and message me. I am pretty busy on Sundays and may not participate in all the games. My family holds Sunday dinner every week, so Family 1st.

Hello yahoo62278, this is excellent that you carry, my congratulations for that great work so spectacular and professional that you always do, it seems to me that the conditions of SWC are good, 1.5mBTC is good because it is more accessible for many players, because from now on they can gather it . The number of games is fine per series, and in 2 months is enough time for each player to study their strategy well.

Lottery is a good thing since it gives incentive for people to join the tournaments in the end of series even if they don't need the points anymore. It also gives a chance for somebody who has not won even a single point to get most of his money back. I believe we should keep it in the same form it was before. We had 4 series up to now and we pretty much settled on the rules and time that works best for most of the players. Make it easy for you and don't change what is working if there is no need for the change.

I can help with some stuff if needed but I will wait first for our past handlers to show up. They did a great job and if they are willing to continue, let them keep doing it.
If nobody comes forward I can act as escrow for the money, of course if nobody objects to it. Already doing it for two pools here on the forum so I have a seperate wallet already set up. That goes if we decide to keep the extra funds in BTC away from Betnomi which could be problematic because of the fees. If we decide to go other route and keep extra funds on some other player Betnomi account than I would prefer if somebody else do it. I gamble a lot and I would not want to mix those funds with my own.

We have 5000 starting stack on swc but with 10/20 blind and ante doesnt kick in until level 5 IIRC so that means we are getting 250 Big blind but in betnomi , most of the time blind start from 50/100 and ante kicks in from the very first level so 5000 stack would only be 50 Big Blind

Unless Yahoo can set the blind structure exactly the same as in swc then with 5000 stack, the game would be done in less than 1 hour probably. 25000 would be optimal for betnomi ( 250 Big blind with 50/100 blind structure )

I suggest that we do a trial run for the very first time this weekend to get everyone accustomed with the new blind structure. How about $5 buy in for this trial run and top 3 or top 5 places paid perhaps?  :)

Hm, looks like I got a problem aswell with betnomi.

Was about to test the poker client, downloaded it and tried to register but there is no registration for me.
Is the registration banned for my country (Germany) or is it banned? Also tried it with VPN from different countries. No registration at all. :(

Some countries will have to use a vpn. There are vpn services that accept bitcoin and its not very expensive. ProtonVPN being 1 of them.

As for Germany, you should be able to access the service. Kindly reload the page and should be fine. :)

Thanks for this Yahoo - and side note Betnomi have been pretty awesome to deal with; which can be expected from a new company trying to bring in customers.

I reg'd and deposited a couple days ago, and traffic is low for my timezone but had a chance to play with the software a bit on my day off and was impressed. I would say it's equal to or better than SWC out of the box, and blows away the client sportbet had available. I'll touch more on that later.

In regards to the tournament structure. What we have been running with as far as date and time seem to be best for everyone as a whole.

I would like to see 8 minute blinds and maybe play it as 8-max or 6-max something like that. I think this would be a more exciting structure for the games on a weekly basis. If we went as low as 6-max a 10K starting stack might be a good idea.

Buy-in wise I can go either way on keeping or scrapping the lottery. Some players might be more partial to it than others so I'm still open to it if some were playing only because they felt it evened the field a bit.

15$ to 20$ total is reasonable, I just remember when we were hammering it out before this was causing concern for some feeling the buy-ins were a bit steep. My ideal would be something like 12.50$ entry and 3$ championship.

I'm open anything and will keep popping in to discuss with everyone.

This can be a nice change! I like to play 6-max tables, 8-max sounds good too! Probably with fewer people on the table 8 minutes should be fine, but I wouldn't change blind levels, I like 10 minutes! I would like to see 10k starting stack for the final game!

I think I will check this site out as reviews seem to be good. The site looks a new introduction and the poker games too. Is it only the one game in the series to view in the site.

Right now for a "Forum" tournament there is the one freeroll  mentioned below, not sure if it's live yet but will be soon.
Apart from that they have a full line-up of tournaments running daily. Currently Yahoo62278 is also working on organizing an ongoing forum series for us. If you keep checking back here you will see updates, currently it's in the planning stages as details get suggested and hammered out.

I will not scrap the lottery unless the majority votes against it. This is not my tourney, it is you "the players" tourney, so I want to let the majority have the final say in most everything.

As for the rules, schedules and in general the basics, I add myself to how they were established. (Season 4)

Of course, I would like to state the following that does not refute the above or be understood as a "yes" but "no".

That is, the point is to give fluidity to the Season #5, but if I would like play in 6-max. I think that would give a different style of play to the series, I understand that for those who play with their full table strategy. This can be a big game changer, but it could show that your perfomance poker style-game is playing successfully at any type of short or long table. ;)

In fact it could be a short table season (6 max) and the next long table (9 max)
 
My time is UTC -5, that means that although for some it is already the boring late Sunday night, for me it is the happy Sunday afternoon, in that sense the future of Poker Sundays at the established time is always available, but If there is a difficult day to avoid family commitments, it is Sunday, so thinking in that sense and that of 8 games you can fail in two (  ???  / maybe none is just a random number of absences   ), I suggest based on two reasons, the one mentioned and that if we start on November 8, the tentative schedule could be the following:

Q1: Nov 8
Q2: Nov 15
Q3: Nov 22
Q4: Nov 29
Q5: Dec 06
Q6: Dec 13
Q7: Dec 20
Q8: Dec 27

The final on January 3/10, 2021 (omg, 2021 in sight).

The current scenario, my proposal is to maintain the maximum of 8 games per player but due to the December dates, where the unexpectedness of the passivity of every Sunday of the year is manifested in those dates in the opposite way, e.g. meetings, shopping, hangovers, or any unexpected event are especially present on Sundays in December...

If you could add two games on Wednesdays* (or any other day that consensus is reached) and that way if someone misses a game on Sunday they could get it back in the middle of the week. This would be done every 3Q until Q6, that is, we would have something like this:
Q1-Q2-Q3- / Q*/ Q4-Q5-Q6- / Q* / - Q7-Q8.

And it is maintained that only 8** tournaments can be played per player.
**Variants here, you can play them 10Q and the best 8 results are taken.


Anyway, as I said, I do not care if everything continues as it is in terms of the rules, etc, it is just a opinion or rather an idea.

Not crazy about that Freeroll idea. Somehow those always end up with bunch of people signing up which were never before interested in our series and will never join a paid tournament in the future. I agree that is a good idea to test out the client but I would have preferred it if there was some buy in as well.

I just tried to access poker and got a message, please roll your device which is sort of impossible since I accessed it form my desktop computer :) I guess it is something temporal since it worked well for me in the past and I already played there without problems.
If some of you have tried to download client I am interested to hear if it is better then version in browser. Thanks.

Yes, our poker client went through some maintenance check and updated with some improvements. Make sure you update to the latest version of whatever browser you are using. This should resolve that problem.

The freeroll is not exclusive to players in the series, it's meant for all of bitcointalk to try out the software. Just gives you players who plan on playing in the series a chance to try out the software as well at 0 cost.

The owner is being very generous by having this freeroll but let's be honest, he's not gonna make his money back off this series alone. I will only give the pw to those who post their names in this thread to try and keep non bitcointalk members out, but other then that everyone is free to participate.

Yesterday I successfully registered on Betnomi, and, without downloading the software, played for 10 minutes in a free-roll. Everything worked fine for me. Was a bit surprised by the number of entries, when I was leaving in the early stage

I would imagine this is something Betnomi can look into more deeply anytime we have concerns. Should be pretty straightforward considering it's part of their day-to-day to try and catch multi-accounting across their entire platform. Not really beneficial for the freeroll but in general over th ecourse of the series.

It does suck having to try and police newbie entries for the freeroll, while at the same time trying to bring people in.

People have done more for less. Yahoo is just being cautious to protect the integrity of the game. I don't know how this plays out, but stick around a while and get a feel for what we've been doing these last few months. If people remain civil things generally work themselves out. Maybe it is a coincidence maybe not, but in the long run Betnomi will be able to help clear up possible multi accounting issues.

I can play anytime since I can adjust due to pandemic, I have a lots of free time cheers. I hope that the organizer will give us notification about the exact time and date, direct link to the poker room and clear rules and regulation 1 day ahead of the scheduled date for the preparation and to free some of my schedule activities.

Apart from that we run a forum series which will be hosted on Betnomi, we are currently talking about some of the details in what we want to see changed or left alone from past the previous series we have ran.  Either way good to see some new faces popping in, hope you stick around for the series.

I'm not trying to keep all newbies out or anything, this just looked like a very obvious case of multiaccounting. I'd also rather not see users make an account on this forum just to get a password then never be heard from again.

Tourney is supposed to be in the lobby in 26 hours. Once I see it, I'll start pmming users the password. I also considered releasing the password to the public about 30 minutes before the start. Thoughts?

Bad idea! 30 minutes are enough for anyone to roar in with the army of alts. The rule is simple, post your Betnomi username with your Bitcointalk account and get the password. Since this series is specifically meant for Bitcointalk users, everyone who wants to participate in the series (or this freeroll) should sign up on bitcointalk and post the username to participate (like our earlier series). Is someone is shy in doing so then he most probably looking to join in with more than one account or simply isn't interested in bitcointalk series and just want to make quick advantage of freeroll.

In general, I tested the Betnomi platform, and, to put it mildly, I am disappointed ...

• Only 15 seconds (which is actually quite good when there are no lags ... but I only saw terrible response / sync).
• After about 30 minutes, my maps stopped showing (I tried to restart the online version, but the situation did not change).
• I thought the desktop version would solve this problem ... But this did not happen (I rebooted the laptop and restarted the router).

I really wanted to take part in Series #5 ... But I would not want to, in the middle of the game, due to some mistake, I flushed my stack down the toilet.

No worries, I was more interested in mentioning sticking around for the series even if you decided not to provide them the password for the freeroll. You very clearly have more experience in routing out multiaccounting individuals, and am not questioning your judgment here.

I wouldn't post the password publicly, I think that's when we'd truly see some multiaccounting going on; especially if they know when it's going to drop.

Crazy, I had some minor connection issues, when first launching the client. Had one disconnect which logged me back in right away. Would be a shame to lose you before it starts but I get not wanting to play on software that doesn't work for you. Could be new platform issues they are working on, hard to say.

My first tournament it did crash when I was trying to flag users and write notes but nothing similar since then. Still haven't been able to put much volume in there so I've been holding off on my review I've been putting together.

Is betnomi poker worth a try?
What network is it in (if there is a network) and how is the traffic?

There is no ill intention from me and perhaps it was just pure coincidence  :) but there are tons of people out there that would do any kind of this thing without any shame at all


10 or 5 minutes before the start would be the most ideal because there is no late registration. Someone with the intention of multi accounting this freeroll probably wouldnt have that much time to switch between his accounts and register all those

Also it would be obvious catch, these multi accounts will probably start shoving with silly hands to build up their stacks

Around 200ish player online. Lots of full table on cash games and people running in the tournaments

If there's no late reg, I support this idea. We will probably still have some multiacc abusers, but it's much better when they have 3-4 accounts registered for the game instead of 10-15.

Yesterday I tested the platform more thoroughly, playing in the Evening Turbo ($1.17+$0.12 Buy-in). During an hour and a half of playing, only once I was thrown out from the site, but I quickly logged-in again, and, actually, didn't suffer from that at all.(was playing in browser) Apart from that, I liked the platform very much. Finished ITM, btw. :)

Good game guys, it was a fun tourney indeed. And the best part is we can chat on the table lol. The only thing that bothered me a little is I got signed out three times automatically. I just spoke with the owner, we will run another freeroll on wednesday same start time. There are a few differences, I opted for a deepstack tourney for everyone to have a good 50000 stack to try with. I also changed the pw.

The owner also said they will try to fix the disconnect issues by wednesdays game for us.

If we use the same blind structure, it means 250 BB for everybody. Some people might not be familiar with fast paced 100 BB game because we used to have 5000 stack with 10/20 blinds in swc poker series and that is 250 BB. About the Software:

Major (for me)

1. Game automatically logged out multiple times after specific time. Logged out of the Betnomi account itself. It was horrible since you are in the middle of game and have put big chips on the table and suddenly you get logged out of the account. The problem is, until you log in back you your cards are automatically folded and you loose.

Other Problems I had:

2. The game is not getting played properly on the tablet. (iPad device). I am not sure if it is problem with just me. If someone had a play on the tablet and had similar issues then report it so as to confirm this.

3. There is little issue with the sound, many times the chip sound and card distribution sound were automatically muted and suddenly came back.

Regarding user-interface:

The UI seems to be pretty presentable.

One good thing is, you get the tips which highest card you holding at right hand side corner. Makes it easy to understand your house quickly. ( I have not seen on other betting sites).

Chat window, previous cards preview window seems to be too small. I guess it can be viewed in full at the bottom or right hand side I guess.

This made me laugh! It's like before going all in say goodbye to everyone, every time! :)


I played on my phone, and it was nice. Except disconnect issues I didn't have any other problems! It's even pretty nice for playing on mobile!

That disconnect issue could get problematic if it happens in wrong moment so I am glad it is already under consideration by Betnomi.

I knew that chances of winning with pocket 8s at the table with 8 players were not that high, so I went all-in in the hopes of not getting called. But TickTockLyfe/arallmuus, with AK and a huge stack, called and knocked me out:

It was nice to play even if I busted early, my poker is quite rusty and also happy to see level is quite decent : when I used to play freerolls were a  donkfest while yesterday saw solid poker being played.
Experienced some disconnects as well (two or three) but thougth it was my isp until I came here today reading this thread.

Cool! Just make it an hour or two early if possible. 6PM is too late for me and most of the Asian players meanwhile 5PM won't affect US and Europe players' schedule much. You guys can still play 12PM or later which is pretty good and we guys can play majority of the tournament before midnight, win-win for both.

Wonderful! However, poker software is pretty decent and stable. Like others, I was getting logout on the browser every now and then. But once I switched to software, I didn't face logout issue even once. Moreover, software is fast. SwC usually lags but betting was smooth on the Betnomi client.

If this point is important, it really depends on a lot of the player's style of play and his strategy, in my case when I was regular my specialty was 1500 (10/20) levels of 3-5-7 minutes, 6-max.

So 250BB deepstack tournaments have something interesting, this allow them to adapt to a larger field of players, fish, those who like to play cash tables among other styles even rusty* players...
...obviously the regulars they have their strategy frequent players in the ITM like the players we saw last Sunday in the top 3, the 4th place could have been luck. :)

Just for a clarification, I am requesting a time change to our usual time slot i.e. 5PM, the same time SwC series used to hold. However, last freeroll on Betnomi was held at 6PM, an hour later than usual.

So which time is unfavorable for you, 5PM or 6PM?

I would prefer the same time like on Sunday, but these are just my 2 satoshis :-)

I was playing for 3 hours in a tournament yesterday(won $7.7 btw  ;D ), and there were no disconnection issues during the whole time.

You are good. Alot of those guy in tournaments love to play with suited wild ranges and its hard for me to handle that. Some people even have the wildest range like K3 off suit that open raise from the UTG position. I even met a guy that shove all in with pair 3 despite that A J K are on the board, pretty wild for my taste

Regarding the disconnect issue, Yeah I was playing yesterday for an hour and was playing today for around an hour before the maintenance started, Its all good for me as well.

Well I didn't see anything on betnomi about transferring funds between players, do they have it? It will be hard to manage funds between wallets, with slow and cheap transactions. Some of us can send additional fee for all games, but is it fine with everyone? Betnomi gave a nice offer, maybe we can forget about lottery and additional prize for final game and to rise buy in for tournaments? Maybe I am missing something about all this, would you like to hear what others think about it.

Just talked to a Betnomi official representative on Telegram and they told me player to player transfer feature hasn't been still implemented but will be released in the next update , of which no expected date has been given to me.

I support this idea, only not sure about the last part, rising the buy-in. I think the buy-in should stay in the range of $10-$15, or we are risking to be short of many potential players otherwise.

There is something I need to complain about on betnomi platform.
I have played some tournaments meanwhile and everytime when it comes to a Showdown, the platform is lagging and I cannot see the cards of my rival.
It is totally annoying, the chips are moving either to the other guy or to me but I dont know what they played.
I restarted the browser several times, logged out and in but nothing has changed...

 The only time I had a similar issue I was playing through the browser and was working my PC to hard .

Yes, that is due to the internet connection speed. A higher speed should work just fine. Tor is generally slow and a VPN should be enough to get the job done unless you have other reasons why you want to specifically use Tor.

Weekly Freeroll Series is undoubtedly a good idea and I see a lot of new names in connection with the upcoming tournament.

What do you think about transforming a small friendly tournament into a recognizable weekly event? It would be great if yahoo62278 could discuss with Betnomi the possibility of expanding the prize pool for Sunday tournaments, (below is just an example).

- number of players from 1 to 20 - $ 300 guarantee
- number of players from 20 to 50 - $ 500 guarantee
- number of players from 50 to 100 - $ 1000 guarantee

It will be a good marketing strategy for Betnomi and a nice bonus for the final table players.

With $300 they can run $10 free roll games for 30 days, one free roll every day! Don't get me wrong, we all love when it's free and even more when the prize is high, but look at the other poker sites...
If you look in some previous posts you will see that Betnomi offered a $1000 - final and $300 - runners-up game for bitcointalk private series, which is very generous from them! And to be honest I would like to pay for games and play series again, this free rolls are nice fun in the meantime and thanks Betnomi for this, $250 free roll is something, as I said you can't find that on many places!

I hope to be able to join the Betnomi Poker series freeroll on Sunday: it's a long time I don't play poker and I might perform very bad but I would love to play again. If free, I will try to connect! And, by the way, good move betnomi  ;)

I propose the same day and time which is on Sunday 5.00 pm UTC. We go with 8 game before the Grand Finale around $10 to $15 buy in . Taking that extra fee would be hard for now because the p2p transfer is not yet available on betnomi so perhaps we can ditch that idea away and put it all into the qualifer game? Or we could still go for $10 buy in with extra 200-400 chips transferred by using swc ? most of us probably still has chips on swc so this could be an option

Same point structure as the previous one and 250 BB starting stack. Im actually fine with 100 BB starting stack but I think some regular were not that good with 100 BB stack in the last freerolls so 250 BB should be a good option because everyone are used to how it works in swc with 250 BB stack

Not an option probably since we aim to bring new people in as well and they don't have SwC account and it feels very odd to set up the series like that. I liked that extra fee and lottery part of our series but I don't see a good way to make it work in current situation. BTC fees are too big for transferring such small amounts.

The solution could be to transfer extra fee in bulk for all tournaments, either before first tournament or based on trust after last qualifying tournament. Both solutions have significant obvious drawbacks.

Anyway whatever gets decided will be fine by me.

It's free to register on freeroll, you will have an initial chips upon registration. This is first time to participate on this tourney too but the final structure will be publish later. This is just like a knock-out game and your stack is not real money so you will not lose badly on this game since its free roll.  ;)

This is a question am interested in too; am usually a bit reluctant installng stuff on my devices and often prefer playing browser based poker software than desktop ones but I'd like to know if there are significant improvement in overall poker experience using desktop instead : are there addictional features not available in browers based version tha anyone knows?

Freerolls are not handled in any casino fiat or crypto under that premise there is a guaranteed amount (fixed) and this does not vary depending on the number of players, it does not make sense, if any casino you know has it, do not trust it.

Now many here want to freeroll because I think this one today and the past have been quite generous.

I do not see that any of the "new" even bother to suggest something based on the Betnomi Poker series discussion, watch out, except two or three players, it is not that it is forced, but that is what this whole matter is about , a series for gamers made by forum users.

Anyway, I can think of two options:
That payment should be $ 15 ($ 10 minimum) in full to the tournament on Sunday. And that this "FREEROLL SUNDAY ALL WELCOME" game is maintained but that it grants Tikets for the value of the "useful" entry only for the Sunday tournament, in this way it is known who wants to play the series or  who only wants to play the tournaments for the money.

OPTION TWO:
Let this freeroll continue with 8 official tournaments and the best nine at the end play for the main prize and the remaining nine for the consolation prize.

The above gives a chance to any type of player since there are 18 players with the possibility of winning a prize.

Just here to inform ya'll that I am seriously ill since last 3-4 days. Currently under heavy influence of cocktail of medicines that my doctor is putting in my body.

My family is not allowing me to go anywhere near my laptop, just sneaked to my laptop couple of hours ago to access my main account and watch lil' IPL action but health wasn't giving any support and I had to return to bed. So I will pass this tournament.

few things i've noticed during this game.

1. A lot of people are time banking every single street. Very annoying.
2. Some are sitting out the whole game. (unappreciated). If you weren't gonna play then don't register.
3. 50000 chips is too many with all the time bankers.

2. yeah, just noticed that there is still a player left who was on sitout since the beginning (even if he will blind out in on of the next orbits - its still annoying)
3. I'm fine with 50k chips because  the structure is the same on SwC(5k starting chips and blindlevels starting from 10/20)
 I think that the problem is that some of the players are very nitty and way to tight in their game.. for this reason it is very slow in connection with the timebank!

My suggestion: Reduce the timebank and maybe add some extra time at the beginning of the final table.

I was probably one of the guy that did this but I was looking up for some videos on youtube and one thing that I notice is that, there is no sound that will notify you when it is your turn if you are not on the betnomi's tab unless if you are on time bank but I ran out of time bank pretty early. So yeah sorry about this , It wasnt intentional

Been a pleasure playing this freeroll, pleasant environment, amusing chat and also nice poker played that is a rare thing in a freeroll.

Don't know if it was my connection or if was a general issue yesterday as well but got disconnected multiple times but despite this managed to grab third spot with some lucky hands to be honest.

There are some issues to be fixed imo ( playing on browser versin btw):
 - add please a fastener button to hand replayer it's way too slow : also it doesn't display oppo hands even if we went to show down
 - also close replayer button (top right X) doesn't work
 - as already said multiple times, allow player to stay at the table after busting out to say something in chat (not a big deal but not nice).

A question for players who got ITM in this and previous tourney : third spot I reached had a displayed prize of $ 51.95 but I only got credited $ 43.75. Anyone else ecperienced similar discrepancy?

This happened on the first freeroll as well but probably because the freeroll supposed to be $250 instead of $296.88 but for some reason it shows up as $296.88. I got 1st spot on the first freeroll and instead of $133 , I got $112.5 and I got $62.5 as 2nd rank yesterday

If you add it up then it will be a total of $250 . So 1st get $112.5 , 2nd gets $62.5, 3rd gets $43.75 and 4th should gets $31.25 .

So it seems there is a p2p transfer feature on betnomi now but I havent really try it yet , atleast this give us a way to continue the series with those extra fees for lotteries and extra prizes for the Grand Finale

I missed yesterday freeroll but i will probably join the series if buy-in stays under ~20$

For the format, i'm more used to cash games so i prefer 100bb no ante but i don't really mind deeper stack.

yahoo62278 the transfer between users  is ready, so why not manage the buyin and passwords as prizes, for those who do not buy-in directly and prefer to try their luck in these freerolls:
1.- (1) password + buy-in of the official game of the series (1).
and so on until a certain field of payments.


If this person decides not to use the amount transferred in the games of the series, they do not receive any more invitation to the freeroll, I say the freerolls because the two could coexist, one for those who simply want to play FREEROLL SUNDAY ALL WELCOME poker and another for " Betnomi Poker series ".

And in particular this could be a substitute for the lottery of the series of "SwC +  organizers" that has if you want a symbolic copyright  ;) so when this series returns it has it as its added value.

I prefer playing on the client, I didn't really give the browser a fair shake, I prefer playing on a dedicated client anyways. I have noticed any disconnect on th eclient is fast to reload my table(s) though.
I did run into the same problem as you yesterday though, where I couldn't see the villains cards after a hand. Pretty sure it's following a live play rules, where in position they wouldn't have to display at showdown, if you table the winning hand and they muck.
I mentioned it in their main thread as that's annoying.

Congrats to those that cashed I was out early 2 hands in I think. Turned trip A, and played it aggressive, definielt had the feeling they had flopped a set/turned boat and I was rewarded by being escorted out of the game lol.

I did make it into their big KO of the  day with a satellite ticket but, that got burned by my Boat being counterfeited on the river my 777AA VS their AAA55 - Fkn river lol.

My presidential bet having paid out that morning I rebought and ran up a large stack, but falling short of the money by 5 or 6 spots. Earned a couple bounties so not all bad.

Well you start by reading the thread, then you find out the tourney is over.

The tourney was fun, this time i wasn't lucky, i couldn't get to the last table bug i had fun on it.

I would like to share some feedback because i have some connection issues on the tourney, and the users was complaining in the chat about the same problem. On the web console i see it was a socket connection issues. So, i hope the devs can work to fix this problem.

I missed the Sunday tourney and also missed Globb0's tourney too. Lately I am just having a roller coaster ride of scheduling myself in everything. Will there be another free tourney on the next Sunday?


I read through rest of the posts and I see we hav not reached any consensus. Let me put my vote

     Day of game : Sunday
    Start time of game : 17.00 or 18.00 hr UTC
    Number of games in the series: 8 qualifiers, 1 runner up and 1 final serious
    Buy-in: $10 to $15 (betnomi currency is dollar )
    Extra fee for pool weekly: Since there are no P2P let's ignore it. Or select one user, send him 0.001 BTC no matter if you play all qualifier matches or one, have him hold it and use it for the pool.

Let's not use any other platform like SWC for this tournament since Betnomi is the one who are sponsoring it.

I don't believe there will be anymore freerolls, least not the size of these 2. I could be wrong though, the owner is always pitching ideas to me.

I have spoken with efialtis and got permission to use any of the Literature and format from his tourney thread, so I'll be making the betnomi series thread within the next day or 2.

Most things are pretty much figured out, but all input will be considered before the series goes live.

I'll try to get the thread up tomorrow and get all the input we need ASAP so that we can try and start the series this weekend.

The possibility for the telephone is nice. I prefer to play poker on my computer instead of on a phone. Then you can see it just a bit better.
If you are bored of your own outdoors or if you are on location externally, it is easy on a cell phone.

In the beginning I was skeptical about Betnomi, a new site that made promises I thought couldn't deliver.
However, I have seen that they are running a really big free promotion and that the winner even gets 1 free bitcoin if you guess 15 results from the matches correctly.
That deserves my compliments and sympathy. Well done, Betnomi.

I agree with that. There are still some things that could be improved, but because of that promotion they have created a level of credibility for me.
You do not see such promotions to often.
