a quote from their FAQ about kyc

In order to comply with applicable laws and to protect our users, Futuur requires confirmation of identity and address to approve any withdrawals exceeding 5m₿ (or the equivalent of €50, whichever is lower) over the course of a 30 day period.

On a case-by-case basis, we may require identity confirmation in other situations as well, putting the withdrawal on hold until the needed documentation is provided by the user, and approved by our team.

1 We don't have night mode at this time, but it's a popular request and we will be adding it!
2 Ooms are our play-money currency, similar to points in a video game.  They aren't worth anything in terms of money, but they do represent your skill at predicting the future!  :)

KYC is a sensitive theme, and could discourage potential users. Bitcoin and anonymity, has always been very important to our community!

KYC is a tricky issue on the legal side, as we need to comply with applicable laws, which sometime are a little heavy handed.  But we are doing what we can to minimize friction on this front, including raising the withdrawal threshhold for applying KYC.

I tried to find some information about number of confirmations needed for bitcoin deposits, minimum withdrawal amount and withdrawal fee. But I couldn't find anything. I recommend you to add such information.
Also, the "FAQ" button in Preferences section (https://futuur.com/a/settings) is not working. The button redirects me to the home page. The link to FAQ needs to be fixed.

5 mBTC is very low amount, and to be honest many people here don't like to go with the KYC policy.
If you really want some high rollers to spend time on your website, then better to increase it at first.
Nevertheless the ANN design is pretty classic here. Love the colour combinations.

Moreover after checking the site, i just found that, we need to provide our FULL NAME, that's really a negative point in my opinion. Many users here always frown when they need to provide any personal details.

Regarding longer term bets, yes, we have a number of markets that won't resolve for some time.  However, you can buy and sell positions at any time, which means that if you buy early and the price goes up, you can sell and make a profit, even if the market hasn't yet resolved.

I am trying to place my bets, and so far, I place 2 bets using Ooms. I don't know much about the prediction, and I only follow with the biggest percentage as I think that can be the winner ;D

Regarding point six in your FAQs, you may want to add after how many blocks a deposit is added to your account. Currently it only says that a deposit will take about ten minutes. But what happens if the transaction isn't confirmed within that timeframe (e.g. because the transaction fee is way to low and the transaction would take days)? Will you add a deposit to a player's account, even if the transaction is still unconfirmed? You might want to look into this and adjust your FAQs accordingly.  ;)

if nothing else, this site has fresh take on the betting scene! but as JohnBitCo pointed out some of the results will be after more than couple of years. i dont think bettors will bet on that particular items. the results should be known at most 6 months.


what is the aim of this betting platform why they are listing questions that are still too far to know the results? it may be interesting but if you are a bettor, it wont be.

One way that I see long-term markets working well for bettor is — for example — in the case that a new story on the subject is published.
Let's say that Elon Musk tweets that SpaceX finished building a new spaceship that could go to Mars in 3 months. That will increase the chances that man goes to mars before 2024. Whoever gets that piece of information first has an advantage and could buy the YES shares before it gets too pricey.

I think this should be included with the "Add funds" Options like "Withdraw funds". Clicking  first "All transactions" and finding the withdrawal section cannot be easily found if anyone is new on the site.

It's a good suggestion if withdraw button appears every clicking currency-selector.

Btw, I tried and get my Bitcoin received successfully into my wallet. Withdrawn 2mBtc and received 1.6mBtc, this means included fee 0.4mBtc.

I also don't see any match games for this week, why?

it would be really good to have the possibility of changing the view from mBTC to 0.00000000 BTC mode.
maybe it's only for me but seems much easier to identify than trying to calculate how much a mBTC is.

I have not withdraw any amount yet because all my money is placed in different bets on Futuur but Just a food of thought, don't you think .4 mBTC  for withdrawals is a bit high on the fees ?

having the possibility to choose between 2 different fees could be interesting, like fast and slow.

some tansactions are getting through with less than 4 sats/byte lately so for people who aren't in a hurry, this could total something like 500 sats on a transaction withou many inputs.
of course I have nothing to do with your biz model but you could  charge 3 times that and it'd be much cheaper than any competitors and a viable option for those who can wait.

Please do not misunderstand, but I wanted to ask if it is really necessary to charge 0.0004 BTCTC fees for a payout.

That's almost $9 at the current rate.

In relation to the fact that the blockchain is quite filled up right now, half of the fees would still be enough for a fast transaction.  :)

Yes, we agree that this fee is higher than it should be.  Unfortunately this is the fee that our payments provider charges (none of it goes to Futuur).  We are exploring other solutions and hope to have lower this fee soon, especially give the recent bump in BTC valuation :)

Is there any news on that?


At this time 50€ are only ~1.5mBTC and the fees for a payout ~13€ , this is out of proportion to each other. The topic of KYC and the associated risks are repeatedly discussed in the BTC community (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5221497.0), so I hope you find a way to lower the fees and raise the possible payout threshhold to a higher level without passing any KYC.
