Well this is going to shape up to be pretty interesting. Long night that I think Trump is going to end up winning, even if the margin ends up being tighter due to mail in ballots not being counted everywhere.

If Trump actually does pull through the, pollsters are going to look pretty fucking dumb.

We are certainly living through interesting times. The elite dynasties are being exposed, and having a bit of a struggle to maintain their control. I hope that Trump will win, and do a bit more swamp draining. The next interesting political elections will be Nigel Farage and his reform UK party. He wants to control/influence local elections and the police commissioners. If he and Trump can reduce the power of the masons, city livery companies and other secret societies, then we can have some real political and economic reforms soon. Maybe we can even get away from the Central Banking thefts.

Democrats had to find out how many votes they needed before they could finish counting.

When Donald Trump became president. He will urge the Fed to print more money to stimulate US economic demand and that will cause Bitcoin to rise in price rapidly along with stocks and real estate. Jobs will be created and everyone will be happy.

Trump could still pull it out, BUT the time to prepare for the statist authoritarians (socialists/fascists/communists etc) is now.  Buy bitcoin.

Bitcoin can protect you from any form of authoritarian statist who might take power.  It can protect you because you can flee with it, protect you from the ravages of inflation, or just have something that the mob can't seize.  Plus all the other uses.

Remember when the government controls (or can control) everything, everything becomes political.  Everything becomes a political fight to the death: one side wanting power and control, the other wanting liberty and live and let live.  When one side can take everything because someone else "needs it" no one's life or property is safe.

People who are willing to trade freedom for "free" stuff are selling themselves, their progeny and everyone else into slavery.

I'd called it for Trump but I am very very unhappy with the apparent creation of never ending drama, the new phase being "the election results." Really tired of all this contrived, made up nonsense, starting with the Russian hoax, going on to today, and now at least another six months.

This process "is the punishment" and although it winds up a Trump win, it's devolved into a contrived bitter-sweet win, with agitated opposition deceived into thinking it was stolen.

Far, FAR better to just have it out on 11-3 and be done with it.

I know this is going to be the tweeting talking point for the next few weeks but "the election results" is how this country functioned for a couple hundred years... is it really worth it to malign it now because some pumpkin might lose if we count all results?

How long it takes for the counting and announcement. Is the election results were getting delayed, or it is happening same as in the past years. Myself out of US has been watching the election result for a long, but after the count reaching Biden 238 against Trump reaching 214 there is no big change for a long. Now once again Biden count has reached 264.

Wow. Biden is 6 votes away from being the new POTUS. We'll see how the world will change after this.

I just heard news that Trump's team will request for a recount? Well, he couldn't accept his loss if that's the case. But we'll see what happens next.

For states with large mail-in ballot backlogs like Pennsylvania - it can take until Friday to get them counted. Some states are prevented by law to start counting mail-in ballots before election day so it was inevitable that this would drag on.

You were not the first. Slovenian prime minister was first to congratulate him. He is prince of darkness so he already knew it weeks ago.  If someone will oppose him he will of course block him. :)

As to who ends the prez next year. It looks like we will find out in December as there are multiple lawsuits by Trump.

This will be around 30 more days.

at the moment, Biden is closer to a win, but race is tightening in all three states that could decide, Pennsylvania in Biden favor, but Arizona and Nevada are closing the gap in Trump favor, still Biden seems pretty closer to a win, nevertheless one should wait for final results

AFAIK, "post-office" election counting is far from end, they say it may last as long as one week. And as one  can see, the further this counting progresses, the more obvious Biden's victory becomes. Would Trump dare to challenge the results of that counting in court?

Yes. Some swing states are prevented, by their Republican legislatures, from counting mail-in ballots before election day. The reason being that mail-in votes will favour Biden, so these states can then call a Trump win on the day, and make it look like Biden is stealing the state when his "late" (i.e., early) mail-in votes start to be counted. Trump can then complain that the election is being stolen, and demand that these "late" (i.e., early) votes are not counted. Very simplistic strategy of manipulating opinion, which is what we've come to expect...

Yeah I'm pretty sure this is something that a lot of people are missing. Tons of people are bitching and moaning on Facebook, Twitter, etc talking about how Joe Biden is stealing the election because there are tons of votes that are 'being FOUND'. Like folks, they obviously have to count the absentee ballots and that is happening now.

There have been no reports of voter fraud or anything along those lines. I also think that would be a hard thing to pull off, given that there are too many poll workers around to just randomly start scamming a county's election board.

Florida was called so quickly because they were allowed, by state law, to begin counting absentee ballots early. Pennsylvania was not allowed to do the same thing, which is why this is taking so long.

Welp, I was agreeing with you here and my prediction totally aged like MILK as well.

Then again everyone was saying that the mail in ballots would favor the dems and to not make an early call, but we all kinda said "I don't care" to that and moved on. I do have to say that the polls were still very WRONG. Wisc was much closer then it was supposed to be, FL was supposed to be close and it ended up pretty red, TX was not really in play (though I guess it is getting closer), AZ was lost mostly b/c of the Trump and McCain issues, NV was close as well.

Pollsters are still dumb even if Biden won this race.

Well, it was a nice gesture anyway, Phil.

The election ordinance was not good and Trump did the right thing by asking for a different total in states where he had proof of deception. We need a transparent election, I see Democrats actually stole this election and it needs to be cleared up.
A president needs to be elected transparently rather than by fake votes or from dead voters.

There's literally been ZERO evidence of this being shared at the moment. ZERO evidence of any sort of voter fraud.

It's not on the people who won the election, the Biden Campaign, to convince people that they won without any sort of fraud. The people that must prove voter fraud are the ones that are alleging it, and up to this point they've provided no evidence at all to back their wild claims.

I personally think it would be pretty hard to commit some sort of mass destroying of Trump voter ballots. Yet again in another mass conspiracy you're going to have to convince people at all of these county election offices to turn a blind eye. It's not like everyone working at these places are Dems or Republicans, they're of both parties and wouldn't just turn a blind eye to this sort of thing as they're voters too.

That's a political narrative being heavily pushed; but its a complete lie.
