I was scammed 2 Eth from this exchange on May 15th 2020. I cannot pass the KYC and withdraw the funds, and was blocked from interacting with customer support.

Can someone put a bounty on this exchange? It's destroying the space. I'd love to see this thing get hacked.

Why were you banned from the exchange. What is the reason they block you, while the balance is available in their exchange?
They do not have telegram service, only information is available via twitter and live chat.

IMHO, even if you pass the kyc they will still not allow you to withdraw your funds. If an exchange was made to scam users, they will scam you no matter what rules they will tell you to follow. Why you have deposited to an uncommon exchange? that's a very common mistake that many other users did. To be honest, the name of the exchange sounds like "forgery" which means counterfeiting/false/fake.

its so strange when you scammed in this exchanges  and still request bounty campaign.  this folgory was scam and fake exchanges, so its done for us and don't do anything anymore even that bounty campaign. just forget and find another campaign to recovery your loss .

this is sign for scam exchange, they prefer single direction communication .

Some shady exchange sites were banning its users without give any notice or reason. forgory was on the same level as coinsbit and p2pb2b which have been banning a bunch of users and stole their money.
It's quite difficult to contact them or it's almost impossible for you to get an answer from the shady exchange site.
This exchange site must be block and boycotted by anyone.
It looks like he didn't know what's the reason for his account was getting banned by folgory. Folgory was fucking scam.

I don't know about your minds?? Why you using these exchanges if there are a lot of trusted exchanges out there?? What the reason behind your action??

May I suggest that you open a thread here: Scam Accusations (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0) so that it will get the needed exposure and so that no newbies can fall for this scheme.

I'm sorry for your lost though, that is still 2 ETH, and when the price is really going up this days, sometimes it really painful to see that our hard earn money is stolen by these criminals.

I have read a lot of complaints about this folgory exchange. So don't know why they are still up. Also, for traders, better go to trusted exchanges rather than use this unfamiliar exchange screwing users. Just check google first before sending any amount and now the OP submitted his KYC for no reasons. By the way, do they have account here in the forum. Guess, they deserve negative trust before they can screw other traders.

someone need to make thread in this section  with detail chronology, so no one trapped in same condition with OP.

There is no solution to this kind of exchange of scams. Because they will not communicate directly with users. They redirect users to email or support. And the answer, of course, is not what we expect. The custom of this kind of exchange blocks users from KYC issues on the grounds that the identity provided is invalid. If three times are invalid, they will block. I experienced this on different exchanges but the same case.

The name says it all it's very synonymous to forgery I've checked their stat in Coinmarketcap, they have a good volume but I would not trade on an exchange like this which connote forgery on it's name, this is one of the risk of trading in a small exchange.
The best that OP can do now is to create a scam accusation in the scam section and provide all the details so to warn all traders that's still trading there and potential traders.

There are bunch of scam accusations already made for forgory too, this is an exchange site with the worst reputation in this forum.
Almost all of accusations didn't get resolved. i doubt this problem can be solved

Here's a memorable lesson from you, honestly the name didn't have the slightest impression to sign up. Once an exchange is built to deceive users, once they've done so, of course you won't be able to get it back. 2ETH is a huge amount as the price is still going up, but i think the problem is more important for you. This is necessary, i think you need time to learn more about how to check if the project or exchange has scam capabilities or not ? .

Do you mind me asking? Why this exchange? Is there a particular coin you wanted to trade on this exchange or what? We've been warned severally to stay away from unpopular crypto exchanges just because if this reasons, they can exit scam any time, there is nothing you can do at this point, I'm sorry for your loss

I've heard this exchange platform but I don't trust it, maybe because it's just a new here in cryptocurrency.
Just I don't feel to use, that's it! Perhaps, you better learn from this platform anyway. Just always use the platform that are more
trusted and has a good track record in the history of cryptocurrency. So, you must learn from your mistakes dude.

Furthermore I see if you are already able to use cryptocurrency trading then why can't you recognize scam projects like this. The interface is too simple like a copy and there is no professionalism in the way it works. Get such projects out of your mind.

This exchange is very shady from the beginning, copying features from different exchanges. Keeping fake volume even there has no successful trades, lots of bots undeclared. :(

how could you send 2 eth to unreputable  exchange in crypto market ? i see coinlist in folgory also traded in reputable exchanges, there is no special token that difficult to traded in other market. its be important experience for you and also other traders, we must know and understanding about exchange reputation ,

If you think that exchange is stealing people's money then you can alerts people about that in this forum but why you are asking for bounty? Bounty about what? You want to spread news they steal your ETH? I think some exchanges have different rules so first, we should read those rules before depositing our assets there. I do not know KYC in that exchange is mandatory or not.

Volumes can be faked even in CMC, I don't know how their API works but I have read that to be true because of an unknown exchange reached at the top of their rankings before.
That has been probably solved by them already since the transition and acquisition of Binance.

If you choose these exchanges because want to sell your token but only listed here, this is normal and we all sometimes using low quality exchanges only to sell our token, but you scammed 2 Ehtereum in these exchanges. Why? Why you choose to believe your Ethereum in this site which you know there are a lot of trusted exchanges out there

You should give more information if you look for the help on forum. Many scam excahgnes just rebrand and they come back with the new scam tactics. Never send your personal documents to these gangsters, one day you can find your ID on dark web. Better forget about it.

There's a lot of scam exchange out there that requires their users to undergo kyc verification before they can withdraw but even after passing kyc, their funds is still frozen. You should just use popular exchanges to avoid this kind situation. You just give them free money and it is now impossible to take it back.

How come some exchange banned you without pass KYC, I think you not available for withdrawing until you pass KYC and is normal rule in cryptocurrency exactly with exchange account. Better you pass KYC first and then try to withdraw your assets is available or not and asking to their telegram channel how rule to withdraw what KYC level have to pass before can take your balance on exchange. In bounty campaign have time when you passing your KYC and if you have not kyc based on their rule and time you will disqualify. For bounty campaign participants after campaign ended always check their telegram bounty channel to know what have to do because some bounty campaign need to KYC and give deadline time, if you miss deadline time you will disqualify and not get anymore your bounty coin rewards.

Folgory exchange bounty it seems like a scam to me no information is given on any site you should have carefully monitored the site before investing most kyc sites do not have personal information before doing kyc you have to check the reliability of the platform and then do kyc. It is better for us to always stay away from kyc you must be careful before investing there is no access to any site so if you check the exchange sites well you will not lose such a large amount.

You should have asked around about this exchange before making a deposit, this type of exchange had bad review I'm sure so using search engines can give you some answers, next time don't use exchanges that aren't popular, if you ask around I'm sure 90% will say they haven't heard about it before.

You should move this to reputation board or make another thread in the reputation along with the proof that you have so people can be more aware of what is happening in this exchange (assuming that you are telling the truth).


I think he meant a bounty hunt for the owner's head of this exchange (at least a bounty to know the identities of the scammers). It's unlikely that this will happen though unless you put a reasonable price that would attract bounty hunters.

They've successfully scammed you, what bounty are you planning to put on the scam exchange? You will be paying more than you lose to track down the scam artists and there is no guarantee that they will be caught, all you have to do is to learn from your mistake and make sure you stick with popular exchanges from now on

I'm just hearing this exchange name for the first time, I know almost all the names of all mid to small exchanges in crypto space, this exchange isn't one of them, im guessing the reason why they build this exchange is to scam people just like yourself who don't do research before anything

Even Exmarket and tokpie are more popular than this exchange, I'm sure that it's a scam platform, I don't want to know what OP did wrong, they don't have to force KYC on the exchange users after they make deposits, and as you can see OP even said he can not pass KYC.

This would be the price to pay for a lesson that shouldn't be learned before watching but what they're doing, I'm pretty surprised at how it's possible to move money to an exchange like that. Like you said, it's less common than hypermarket ... but this is a scam exchange, there are a lot of scammers on this exchange. Unfortunately for you 2 ETH is currently very valuable, but don't be upset or treat it as your school account at this school, and you will find it again from market.

I refuse to accept this, folgory is not even close to p2pb2b and Coinsbit, folgory is a complete scam exchange, how many people are using this folgory exchange? Everyone knows Coinsbit and P2PB2B Exchange but not folgory, why? What does that tell you?stop using less popular trading platforms, they can exit scam any time.

You are wrong, folgory exchange is available on coinmarketcap and it's on number 19, it's rated as one of the Exchanges with high volumes, I'm just surprised that they don't let OP withdraw is coin, maybe the fault is from his side? The exchange review isn't that bad

It's clearly OP's fault, Ethereum is available on all major crypto exchanges, why this very low exchange? You guys have been warned million times about small exchanges and their dubious moves, this is on you mate, do not use any new exchange ever again unless the token or coin you want to sell is only available on the small exchange

I wonder what coins are you trading in this exchange and you landed on this scam site? There are so many reputable exchanges out there and you still use a shady one actually its my first time to hear about this exchange since I entered crypto in 2015 I dont know but I dont easily trust exchanges which is not popular I only use top 10 exchanges listed in cmc or coingecko when trading huge amount of coins.

beware, sometimes new exchange is not good and you must learn about the exchange first before make a deposit or trade there
