Title: SCAM ALERT: coinspaceex.com (or coinspaceex.site/app.html)
Post by: anya0119 on November 06, 2020, 07:34:17 AM
Story:
A couple weeks ago, I matched with a guy on Tinder. After chit chatting for 3 days, he told me he can teach me how to earn easy money by doing cryptocurrency trading. I didn't think much and agreed.  :-[

First he told me to download Binance from the app store, which I know is a safe platform.
I bought 300 usdt first to try it out. Then he sent me a link to download another app called CS EX where he does the trading. He told me to withdraw usdt from Binance and deposit to CS EX, because it's "more secure" he said.

I looked up coinspace, there were quite a few websites named coinspace. I didn't look carefully and assumed it was legit..

But when I clicked his link to download the app (not from the app store), it asked me to give permission to install configuration profile on iphone. I later read online that this could be a malware tracking my phone activities  :'(

On the first day of trading, I earned around 100 usdt. He gave me instructions on when and what to buy/sell. He even taught me how to withdraw it (CS EX -> Binance -> P2P). The withdrawal was successful. This led me to believe the app was real.

The next day he told me to buy 20,000 usdt. He said the market is doing really well, I shouldn't miss the chance.
Thankfully my bank has online purchase daily limit. But stupid me still deposit the 2000 usdt I had available.

We traded for another 5 days and I earned around 800 usdt. When I tried to withdraw it, a message pop up saying I must trade 1000 usdt more in order to withdraw. He explained this is how the app prevent people from money laundering. Again, he instructed me to trade the 1000 usdt, and finally I could withdraw the money. The 800 usdt withdrawal was successful.

The following days, he kept going on about how good the market is, insisting that I should call my bank to remove the daily limit so I can put in 20,000 usdt. That's when my suspicion kicked in. I searched online and found many cases on similar Tinder cypto scams.
Typically, the scammers would let the victims withdraw successfully a couple times to earn trust. By the time the victims have invested a lot more money in, the scammers would disappear.

I also looked into the CS EX website/app. Found out there was no result on google. The coinspace info I got were other websites with the same name.

When I told the guy I don't want to invest anymore, he stopped talking to me.  :-\

I don't want to wrongly accuse anyone or business, but a stranger online that I've never met guaranteeing me a risk-free investment is obviously sketchy.
Has anyone heard of this website coinspaceex.com. (or coinspaceex.site/app.html)

UPDATE:

I found on cubdomain the website coinspaceex(dot)com was registered in October this year. It's only been a month ago yet CS EX claimed they've been operating since 2016. The IP address of the site is located in Japan.
https://imgur.com/qSjADWA

The site even showed up on scamwatcher & cryptoscamalet
https://imgur.com/4lMMkYv
https://imgur.com/RTWGAbA

The scammer "Allen" unblocked me after finding out the post I made here to threaten me. Because when you lookup "coinspaceex" on google, there is only a few results, the link to my post here was one of those.
https://imgur.com/CcjrZE6

He said the company CS EX will sue me. Which is weird, why didn't the company contact me directly regarding legal matter?
This is screenshot of him threatening me in Chinese, saying he will expose all of our conversation. It didn't bother me because nothing I told him was a top secret  ;)
https://imgur.com/q3ICvSu

He even gave me a google map building named CS Tower in Tokyo, claiming it is CS EX office address. But there is no further information, not even a contact number. https://[Suspicious link removed]/maps/rcRUKLAf6VRD43F79

The only way to contact CS EX was on telegram. The telegram ID wasn't even shown on the website. I received the customer service ID directly from Allen.
https://imgur.com/zYKeB3b

Anyway, he blocked me again after bluffing the company will sue me lol

So just to confirm you were able to withdraw the $2000 + the $800 USDT you earned?

Hmm I don't know why in the first place you took his advice even know you just met him on a hook-up/dating app. First of all this is just a complete stranger you have just match with in a dating app whom for all we know is just impersonating someone. Secondly aren't you in Tinder because you want to date or hook-up with someone? Him giving you financial advice or giving you links on how to earn money isn't really a tell-tale that he is really interested in you but is more interested on his personal motive which is scamming you. I guess you might just be new in this kinds of dating apps and you aren't aware that even in apps like this have scams happening on them as well.

well I do have same experience with Anya,
I must admit I just know that there's  scam like this from tinder.
That Allen say that he already run the coinspaceex business for the long time. But in fact, the domain was build just a month ago. check it here:
https://www.islegitsite.com/check/coinspaceex.com/

He persuade me by asking what is my dream, and how to achieve it if I continue join him, even as a team.

coinspaceex (CS EX) also don't have tight verification regulation like binance or paxful. they just easily to approve our identification
Anyway, thank to Anya, I read this your post, and decide to withdraw all my money from CS EX, before something bad happened.

At least you have the common sense not to deposit 20k USDT otherwise if will be gone by now. But you have your flaws though, how can you trust a total stranger you just meet on some dating apps or something?

Anyways, scammers evolved, in any shape or form and will get someone's confidence like in this case, (he gives you the chance to make a good return of your initial investment). And for sure if you ever did deposit 20k USDT he will suddenly disappear and re-appear later with new names and identity.

Good to see that your withdrawal was successful and you got your money back. I am seeing your topic for last 2/3 days and every time you are bumping this by giving updates without following proper posting "quote". Please update your topic and mentioned there that your withdrawal was successful. You took a big risk with an amount like this where you don't know well about that website.

I will personally suggest you to do more research before making a investment like this just by hearing from a stranger. If you are willing to continue your trading activity then go for reliable exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, Huobi and you will get more here on Coinmarketcap  (https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/)

if you want to withdraw, you can send it to Binance, or whatever USDT wallet you have. Just search your USDT wallet on Binance and copy the address, go back to CSEX, choose withdraw, paste the address there.

Is not working! I think there are things to do before you can withdraw from there. They asked for more trading before I can withdraw! I need someone to explain to me more ways to withdraw

i don't know other ways beside that, because when I played it, I just withdraw it like that and no need to trade or buy bitcoin again,
the one that I know is go the withdraw section, copy your binance bitcoin or USDT wallet, and go to cs ex again

I really don't know because I already stop to play it since I know this forum..maybe they already update their rules, but better not trade again there, they will keep asking for your money to withdraw (it's never ending cycle)

It will never work and soon you won't be hearing from those guys.
I wonder how many people have they scammed since it's one of the few cases I've seen GoDaddy acting that fast on a fresh domain.

According to ops experience they can blocked the withdrawal anytime in trading period. So you should follow the instructions like op. But the chance is very lower or even you may lose your next deposit if you do again.

sadly maybe yes, ponzi scheme always like that, tell that you need to trade or transfer to withdraw, but, actually you can't never withdraw your money

Hiiiii..

Happened to me too.. We did talk long time till i did agree to try it as I.. Lost my job.. And can't find new one yet.. And my health is going downhill and I need to try to find a way to earn some money at home too when I can't work anymore coz of my health..

So I gave it a go after longer time chatting with this guy who didn't seem too suspicious to me compared to many others..

I didn't put there much.. He was trying to convince me tho to put completely all the money I own.. I got mad then coz that's pure bullshit and. Nobody would ever tell someone to do so if he is normal in brain..

Well sadly I did put some.. Same story about teaching and trying.. He even did send me some usdt to make me feel comfy that he will help me no matter what blah blah..

Then he disappeared.. Telling me he got corona and is very sick in hospital in another city coz he did end up in hospital on a business trip from his investment analist job..
Then the app did log me out.. I couldn't loge in again.. It says user doesn't exist.. My user name.. My ID number.. My email.. Everything the app says.. It doesn't exist.. My money is gone..

What fucking individuals sick rubbish people.. I never heard of that shit before!!!!

The money can’t be withdrawn you mean?

This trading platform could be very much fraudulent. I wish I had read this post earlier. They changed their website to csexchange.site in January 2021 and in essence everything is pretty much the same as shared by anya0119 (the 1st story post). They shut down the website and app on around March 22, 2021 without prior notification and now they froze our accounts. They demanded us pay 15% of the assets to obtain auditing overview guarantee. I’m not sure who might still be their clients at this point? And anyone paid for the so-called auditing and unfreeze their accounts successfully? Just wondering if it’s true the CSEX platform got audited or not. The reps did not reveal much and we’re stuck. They froze our accounts and seized our assets without much explanations. Horrible!

Do not pay a dime!
And nobody should pay them more money!
It's the same usual scam when they demand more and more and people fell for this trap because they think they might get the investment back, no, you won't get anything!

There was no audit, there was no trading, there was no investment, there was nothing in the first place other than some shiny numbers on a website informing you you have made tons of money! Just as there are fraudulent websites that tell you you have won an iPhone or you're the next heir of Genghis Han and some dude has recovered all his gold and wants to send it to you!

Just think, why should you pay 15% of the $10 000 (for example) you have with them when they could simply take it directly from that sum.

Again! Don't send them more money, I've seen enough people falling for the audit/verification/taxes/legal documents scam so anyone who was a victim and might be lucky enough to read this, just don't!

They demanded us pay 15% of the assets to obtain auditing overview guarantee.
"auditing overview guarantee" means to make sure that the situation still belongs to them. By you transferring the 15% of stolen funds, they mean they conclude you are still under control because they are expecting a refund and you are likely to be squeezed even deeper.

And anyone paid for the so-called auditing and unfreeze their accounts successfully?
100% of victims of this kind of case don't even get their money back
