Seems to be the narrative for this halving's bull rin: "Boomers changing their minds on bitcoin".

Props to her for actually changing her mind and publicly announcing it though, in contrast to those kind of boomers who doesn't want to change their mind because of their fragile egos.

more will keep coming, i know it is only a matter of time before they all realize what they have been missing out on, i think the best way to make people like her like btc is when they discover on their own and not a shill from anybody, anyone who encounter btc in one way or the other and still don't want to be a part of it seriously need help  :P
they always do when the price of btc is surging high.

Should we care about the opinions of such conformists?Today, she is bullish, tomorrow she will start the FUD campaign again. ;D People like her are simply following the trends. We need true believers of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency/blockchain revolution, not conformists and opportunists.

Lol! When a banker like Jemie Dimon can flip, what to do with a journalist? It's very easy for them to change the party because they have nothing to loose apart from some criticisms. But when a banker flips, that calls for a celebration most certainly because he has a billion dollar business empire behind him and he is answerable to a global workforce!

I am still waiting for Warren Buffet to speak positive about bitcoin! He probably won't because he is too old to earn more money! But if it happens at all, that will be a big day for the bitcoiners like us! If this ever happens, we should mark that date and plan to celebrate it every year like we do for bitcoin pizza day!

Though she is somewhat vocal on her stance on bitcoin's current position, most of them will flip the switch silently if they see bitcoin booming, and would not release statements regarding bitcoin in the meantime while it's outperforming most of the assets they're invested in. I'm pretty sure some haters of bitcoins just a few months ago are already secretly invested just to reap the rewards and release negative remarks about bitcoin after they're done collecting the fruits, with of course a classic "I told you so" as if they predicted all of this to happen.

I am still waiting for Warren Buffet to speak positive about bitcoin! He probably won't because he is too old to earn more money! But if it happens at all, that will be a big day for the bitcoiners like us!

The dude doesn't need money anymore, and is surely just protecting his old-money ego in him that's why he's not changing his stance.

A journalist should try to be impartial, taking into account both advantages and disadvantages. Then again, if it's opinion editions, she can declare the pro-Bitcoin position in advance, so that people keep that in mind. I wonder how different were her views on BTC before, and I hope that she does not become one of those people who say they are Bitcoin bulls and then call Bitcoin 'worthless', and then play this game over and over again, hyping on these controversies. If she's truly going to be pro-Bitcoin, it's might have some impact since Bloomberg is pretty serious, so pro-BTC articles there wouldn't hurt.

When the media and celebrities start talking about Bitcoin, it often means a massive price movement... ;) I think that in the near future the media will start to actively promote Bitcoin...

All the haters who has shared their views on bitcoin for their fame will come up with the view that they are impressed with the bullish trend and how bitcoin is able to rise higher than any other financial asset, these views does not mean shit and there is no point in highlighting them as they will start their tyrant of words and jump the bandwagon once the market is back to bearish ;D.

CNBC has already financial segment dedicated to Bitcoin, so they are already bullish about it many years ago. There could be more hiding though, because they are afraid to come out of the closet and be ridicule by their peers or no coiners for changing their stance.

But that's how it is, when the price goes on a massive pump, sentiments in the media changes. But when it take a nose dive, you will hear them attacking crypto market. LOL, so I'm not surprised by the sudden flip, as it might be interesting to hear her stance once the bubble is burst.

It is funny but not fun at all. The statement "I am bullish on BTC now" should be said months ago this year when bitcoin is below $5000 or below $8000. Now when the price is breaking its 3 year record, saying bullish is so stupid. Buy the rumor, sell the news and buy the bottoms sell the highs.

Manage your risk and make your decision from your taste of risk and greed. I am bullish with Bitcoin in long term but temporarily we are in important and vulnerable time for news attacks. Any bad news can cause the price diving deeply.

Well, that we can now see that many are getting interested with the new news and current events to bitcoin market. We can expect that there could be more news coming soon especially if bitcoin will going to take another market price leap. I do believe news could also help the bitcoin market to grow. Many will going to take advantage on bitcoin market especially if they see to it that bitcoin will have another bull run and I am positive it could happen this year.

He's probably just riding the trend as Bitcoin surges towards potential $20,000 price range. You know, potential profit and FOMO to make investors (even not investors) really invest in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin. I'm going to anticipate on what is he going to say next once Bitcoin starts dumping again next year because a correction will happen eventually, it's inevitable.

I do agree, at least she has the "balls" and put it in public.

And riding it to the moon and beyond.

I might agree with you in certain points, but definitely seeing someone flips to the side of bitcoin is already a victory. Regardless if she confirms or stays with this notion, it's up to her, we have seen bitcoin already. From $3K to $16k this year, that's bullish and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to realized that there's no stopping this cryptocurrency/blockchain revolution.

You can include OJ Renick of TD Ameritrade with his tweet as well from last month.
Thanks for this one.

There's this belief during the last years that whenever these media outlets are posting bullish about bitcoin, it's time and the opposite thing might happen. Although it's just a myth, these posts that they do are good exposure for bitcoin.

And we might see more of these posts from bitcoin haters turning the tables and getting close to bitcoin investor. It's nice to see someone like her starts to get into bitcoin and we will definitely see more of these people posting their likes about bitcoin, financial analysts, economists and other sort of financial experts that disliked bitcoin before.

IMO people who flip during the bullish market will probably reverse their statements when the market will inevitably turn bearish and some point, and they will make posts like "I was actually wrong about Bitcoin, it's useless". If someone is bullish during a bear market and believes in long term potential, it's 1000 times more worth than just following the current sentiment of a bull market. If anything, nocoiners' flipping only means that there's a lot of FOMO going on right now, and FOMO don't last forever.

Journalists don't hold a lot of speech power. If she was a powerful investor, yes, this "U-Turn" would have been significant. It's good to see them unbelievers turn into believers, though. I guess more rocket fuel is never a bad thing. haha

Nevertheless, you will see this kind of journalists change their "opinions" with the market. They get paid for views and people want to see bullish information on a bull market ;)

Remember that for them, bitcoin is only something to get more audience now. They need to have a proper bitcoin market coverage as the bull run move forward: understand them, these journalists need something to talk about before the stock market will crash and bitcoin is an hedge for them too.

;D they're just like the storm; today for the bullish and probably tomorrow for the FUD, right? we have seen much of these hypocrisy among the public figures and for this, i won't give a damn shit to this regardless of she be a journalist. Most of them aren't bullish on a long-term according to history and for this tweets to be announced publicly on a short-term we have to wait for long-term to applaud. Hope to see her on a bullish long-term with Bitcoin.

So who's next to U-turn?

Everybody, save perhaps for an adamant few who value their pride so much so that they better play blind to the reality rather than admit that Bitcoin has a indeed a bright future. Or perhaps some old dogs who insist on not jumping ship even though theirs is already sinking.

Well, that's their choice, one that is probably not shared even by their own sons and daughters.

I think you're on the right track with your analysis, and the fact that some people suddenly change their minds is mostly related to the feeling that the BTC is likely to explode again - and why fight the wave if you can ride it. The media behave similarly to the end of 2017, but let's just remember how many times they wrote negatively about BTC during 2018/19 and even a few months ago when we had a sharp drop of as much as 50%.

I have to admit I read some very interesting comments below her tweet, but generally it all comes down to this gif :D
