Hi all, does anyone know a bitcoin exchange that supports fiat withdrawal to a Dominican Republic bank? I just tried with Kraken and was told Dominican Republic wire transfer wasn't supported (after going through all the verification and BTC->USD trade process)... I know there are ATMs but they have limits and high fees which I'd like to avoid. Thanks!

I heard also that coinbase supported Dominican Republic https://www.coinbase.com/places/dominican-republic , I'm not familiar with coinmama though. Better choose coinbase if i were you.
You can also explore currency exchange board here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 , if you feel comfortable you might get in touch with people near you but yeah i knew it, privacy is number 1  ;).

Coinbase doesn't support fiat withdrawals to the Dominican Republic either according to their website: https://www.coinbase.com/places/dominican-republic

I know about localbitcoins but it's usually a bit more expensive than exchanges in terms of fees. Would really like to know if one of the major exchanges supports wire transfer to DR bank.

Only converting is accepted for Dominican Republic. No order choice. There is no payment gate through PayPal or Credit cards or banks.


I guess there is no other option for you but https://localbitcoins.com/country/DO. They are the best choice for you up to now. Does Dominican Republic support bitcoin? I live in a place where bitcoin is not really regulated but the laws do not force people not to buy or sell bitcoin. Therefore, we have many choices whenever we want to exchange our coins to FIAT. Many websites are built for this purpose without being tax although it makes the government hate bitcoin.

You need to look for your local specific markets that conduct p2p trading outside any platform to avoid high fees.

You can also tried to look if there are available Bitcoin atm available  in your city https://www.bitrd.do/index_en.html.

Or local Bitcoin it's the best option to trade in that country. binance also one of the option to trade you can check DOP currency there.
