Isn't there any page with all the merit transactions since they day they introduced them? Or some more detailed statistics like how many merits have been totally sent?

It's easy to miss stuff like that, when it's right under your nose. This was literally on the first page of Meta. The stats page that OP linked to was the only one I used for like the first year of the merit system, when I actually cared about receiving them--and how generous I was being with my sMerits (and that was before I was made a merit source). Then I kind of stopped caring and looking at those pages. For the lower-ranked members, however, BPIP is probably the best source of merit info and probably the best source overall for statistics about members. Despite that, it might not be a bad idea to have some kind of consolidated thread with all the info you could ever want about merits. Maybe there's someone motivated enough to create such a thing? For plots, I have time series plots (daily, weekly, monthly), percent changes of daily/weekly merits with median values of all time, box plots (stratified by years).
