Title: what is the best trading brokers for BTC
Post by: farrellronald on November 09, 2020, 03:48:12 PM
Hi i wanted to trade some BTC and was looking to find some trading sites
these are the things that htese sites must have:

The best crypto exchanges for US bitcoin trading offer three essential benefits. The first, and most important, is robust security with two-factor authentication, cold storage, and integrated safe wallets. Second is a user-friendly website and platform. Third, they provide access to trading a variety of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

what do you offer?

There's no exchange integrated with safe wallets, you need to move your coins to your own non-custodial wallet (e.g. Ledger). Remember not your keys not your coins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5287314.0

I think binance or coinbase is the best option for you, it just a matter of cold storange and safe wallet.

There are central and decentralized platforms, the central platforms are characterized by a lot of trading pairs, the speed in updating data, and the need to not wait for confirmations, but they prefer the option to own your coins because they take currencies and then update their database with the balance that you deposited.

So if you want to trade, you can use the central platforms while withdrawing your money to any secure platform as soon as you make profits.

AFAIK, both Trezor and Ledger have built-in exchanges for trading cryptocurrencies and if you're looking for a platform for  BTC > fiat or vice versa, then you have Localcryptos but it's P2P so you'll be trading with other individuals.

I advise you to trade Bitcoin on an exchange that is well-known and has recognized credibility, be it Binance, Butrex, Bithumb, and many more. depending on your choice. If I were you, I was trading on Binance straight away, security can be guaranteed, and you will be served politely if you ask a question you don't understand. many choices are offered.
wherever you feel safe to trade

Is this the swap feature of Ledger live app? Based from their website's FAQ, they're using Changelly for this feature. And the feature is not available for US residents which op is likely. (https://www.ledger.com/swap)

Which countries are eligible for this service?
Due to different regulations, this feature is not available in some countries, such as the United States or Japan. You can read Changelly's terms of use here (https://changelly.com/fr/terms-of-use).

IMO even though there's still an exchange who never got hacked, it doesn't mean the exchange is very safe and can't get attacked. In the future we will see many CEX will get hacked since there's no system is 100% safe.

As I said before use an exchange to buy or sell only, not for holding.

If you ask me which popular CEX was never got hacked until now, it's Huobi [1]

The word faith is closely associated with deception or theft. Because if any of you are struggling to gain faith, there are thousands who are dedicated to breaking faith. Overall developed and popular exchanger are doing well but hackers are following you skillfully. Enjoy the crypt world from awake. Use the company of those above and invest in good coin. Wait and be patient to be successful. https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

I wasn't aware of that actually, but it's no biggy. The ledger device is compatible with IDEX as well: https://www.ledger.com/idex

AFAIK, it's possible for U.S customers to use it (with the exception of some assets). The only downside here is that you won't be able to trade with BTC directly, you'll have to use Wrapped BTC (WBTC) insead.

OP, are you looking for Bitcoin purchases/ sales directly or margin trading? The former allows you to own your Bitcoin while the latter relies on price speculations and thus, no possession of Bitcoin.
