Title: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency?
Post by: Abiky on November 10, 2020, 01:09:26 AM
After Biden has been declared the winner of the US presidency, there's a lot of uncertainty regarding to crypto's (and the mainstream economy) behavior during the next 4 years. At times, it's been shown that crypto prices move either up or down depending on certain events in the mainstream world. Some people say that in a Democratic administration, the stock market (and crypto too) will experience a constant uptrend in price. Others say the contrary when Republicans are in power. Since 2020 has been filled with uncertainty, anything could happen in the following months.

This makes me wonder how will a Biden presidency impact crypto? Will crypto continue to soar towards new heights? Do you think that a Democratic administration will be much more friendly towards the crypto/Blockchain industry in general?

Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I read some articles about Biden, he doesn't seem to like the encryption stuff. and crypto is synonymous with this, so maybe this will be bad because of the Biden sentiment. but this is just my estimate, after all, Biden will be inaugurated next year. so we cannot predict what policy he will make in the future. if he makes policies that are not favorable to crypto holders this could have an impact on the market as a whole. so maybe the early years Biden was inducted into an important time for the future of crypto.

Biden is a very experienced politician, with a track record of decades in politics. He can definitely make the best decisions including in the crypto world to improve the current economy of USA. Isn't it that America has been friendly enough towards crypto? But I'm sure it won't be too influential because of the current popularity of crypto that many people have accepted.

However, you should take into account his age. If I am not mistaken, Mr. President (the elected one) is 78. Nevertheless, he is from Democrats, and many powerful people there support cryptocurrencies. Crypto might see the best times soon.

I think that cryptocurrencies, specifically Bitcoin, have become too large to be influenced substantially by the policy of a president or country.
Let us remember what happened with China.
Therefore, if Joe Biden is open to cryptocurrencies, it will rise quickly, and if not, the price will not back to 0 and maybe affected in the short term.

In the long term, unless a unified policy is adopted by all countries, it is difficult to stop cryptocurrencies.

Remember Trump already said he don't like Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I assumed Biden is not to be worst than that.

You mean cryptocurrency would b better this time with the Biden presidency? Trump is a businessman and for me he knows a lot of things about crypto that Biden so I would think that there would be not much improvement on crypto in terms of adaptation but I just hope that I'm wrong and the bullrun will happen on Biden's presidency.

I think cryptocurrency will still move according to its course.  Biden might be the president of the United States but his power and influence do not include the whole world.  It may have an effect on the citizens of the United States but I bet other crypto-friendly countries will not be affected by this.  So whether a cryptocurrency will soar or not does not depends on Biden's decision but rather on the supporter of it.

Well, one should always stay positive and hopeful and also remember the rule of the nature that means that the new changes are for the better so i will simply hope that he will prove to be better and blockchain and crypto will prosper and flourish massively in US and all over the world in coming years due to US backing.

Joe Biden represents the same party to which Barrack Obama was affiliated and he remain in the office as president till 2016 without doing anything in support of crypto.
Anyways with new president and new team we can hope this time things will be much better because there is strong pro crypto voices now coming up from within the biggest political parties so we can expect some positive changes.

I think that the "color" of the administration will have little to no effect on Bitcoin and crypto.
Politicians may remember now and then about crypto and make some more regulations or find out some ways to tax it. But I really don't expect more than that from them.

But the world start to be more and more interested of crypto. And public opinion matters to politicians. That may help.

From my point of view, things will not change much for cryptocurrencies in the US and thus the entire market. Whether it's democratic or republic, there are few ministries that don't change their affairs. Even if any change in inclination or declination towards crypto will happen, it will take much time as these policies will not take effect immediately.

And if they will read that PayPal is the latest one to adopt cryptocurrency in their system, which is an American company.
I believe they will change their mindset towards crypto. But I think, this will not be his priority in his first year in office.
There's a lot more issues to resolve and the first one, is the containment of covid. And assist his citizens to recover from this crisis.
They have their own staffs to take care about these things, but for now I am not expecting any statement related to crypto.

The "expectations" is that not just crypto, but the traditional markets like stocks or even precious metals will soar high during Biden's presidency. But it is too early to see though where we are going. Will he surrounds himself with young advisors or at least have a knack on crypto? or old farts that doesn't appreciate it? And right now, Biden's priority is the Covid-19 pandemic in the States, so I doubt that he will have crypto in his agenda for the first six months of his term. So we will have to wait and see.

This is going to be more exciting since Biden has the good timing while bitcoin soar higher in his electoral wins. However we should be more precautions on what outcomes will happen after all, because it could be popularity or people will only rely on trend. We must go after reality and not with rumors, perhaps realizations always comes after and we can't predict the circumstances.

Well, it's too early to speculate how these Biden presidency will give a good or bad impact in the crypto space. However, he already stated that he is open about bitcoin and I think this democratic administration will be going to open more opportunities through considering the use of blockchain tech or crypo itself.

While, Trump expressed his feeling from the beginning that he is not a pro bitcoiner but later on he changed his mind about it. As I can see it, Biden  is going to make a good shape in crypto regulations that eventually make a strong impact for crypto industry in the future.

But, his tweet (https://decrypt.co/45837/what-a-biden-presidency-would-mean-for-bitcoin?amp=1) after the hack incident in his twitter make crypto users doubt about him with cryptocurrency.

If Biden or Trump has that much power to influence Bitcoin or crypto, then I don't think they'll be considering launching their digital dollar (CBDC), imo it's clear to the govt that they cannot be a third party in Bitcoin transactions and hence one of the things they do is impose regulations, Biden could lessen regulations on cryptocurrecies in the U.S. and that will be good for crypto and could affect the value, but Biden/nobody has any direct influence on Bitcoin, so that goes to say that as for what's going to happen in the next four years (of Bidens first tenure), to Bitcoin and crypto, I prolly don't think anyone knows.

The uncertainty will come after he made an announcement that he is against Cryptocurrency, I'm sure, the administration team will do a study of Cryptocurrency if it is beneficial to everybody, and of course it is beneficial, we should not speculate this early, the market is bouncing back we must not feed negative on it, we'll wait for his announcement while waiting, it's business as usual for us.

I bet it's not gonna change that much but some people said that biden will be a better impact to crypto rather than trump and maybe im expecting a more strict law enforcement against all those exchanges which could mean two things both bad and good. also, maybe stablecoin will get adressed which hopefully not gonna make it vanish. just my opinion though take with grain of salt.

The Biden administration I think will be different from Trump but will still print new money to restore its economy due to the pandemic. The Fed some time ago announced that it would expand inflation and this would affect the money supply so I think crypto will be an attractive investment.

BIden has just become president, to discuss about cryptocurrency regulation it looks like it will be done after the pandemic ends,
we know USA is still very difficult to deal with Covid19, and Biden's focus will definitely be there too,
but I believe cryptocurrencies will do better under Biden ,

I just don't understand this. He's just simply say he don't have Bitcoin, not everyone have Bitcoin. Just simple as that, what's the negative about it? He's not even negative like trump which said he don't like Bitcoin and crypto, trump said it's worthless and should be worthless.
Also people need to know the second highest Large Individual Contributions to Biden campaign is from cryptocurrency CEO.

The ideas of US President-elect Joe Biden about the economy are very different from those of former President Donald Trump, I hope that this difference will be reflected positively on cryptocurrencies because Trump used to hate cryptocurrencies and he has stated against them more than once, I don’t know what Biden’s position specifically towards cryptocurrencies is. But I hope he's more open than his predecessor, Trump.
Biden puts the economy among his priorities in his presidential term, and it is certain that cryptocurrencies have a great impact on economic growth, so I expect that there will be some facilities, even indirectly.

From the news you can find the name "Gary Gensler", he was the chairman of commodity futures trading commission under barrack Obama period and Biden is hiring him to lead the transition period as well. Dude is also very well versed in crypto and has invested himself as well as talked about it. So, as you can see this is just the first thing Biden is doing and he hasn't even taken power yet and he is already showing that he is not against crypto, he is already appointing crypto minded people into positions of power.

So, I feel like this is going to be not that bad for crypto world, he will probably surround himself with younger people who are much better at crypto world and for 4 years we are not going to see any type of trouble, even if not support.

Whatever decision they want to put up as long as they are not banning Cryptocurrency and they will not restrict Cryptocurrency users from the United States, we are going to be ok, but I think Biden will not restrict Cryptocurrency, because it's already established in the US, I have no idea really what will be their stance, we can only hope that it will be positive and friendly.

Already USA is the leading market for cryptocurrency, and it is the place where large number of cryptocurrency users as well as large number of businesses accepting bitcoin is found.

With the Biden presidency we can expect some positive news, if not we'll encounter the same growth same as now. Quite often we'll get some updates from the US Securities and Exchanges Commission. Some form of regulation will be done and the process continues without any clear conclusion.

From all indications, Joe Biden administration will be favorable to crypto. Some people were in the opinion that if Trump lost, BTC will dump massively but the reverse is the case. There are some crypto friendly democrats who I think will help influence Biden positively when making policies regarding crypto. However, no one can be 100% sure, let's see how things unfold while we are optimistic.

The increase in bitcoin prices has occurred before the presidential election of the United States, during the presidential election period this time the price of Bitcoin had reached $16179 / BTC in the trading market, so it can be concluded that President Biden's victory on the trump did not have a major effect on the increase in bitcoin prices and also crypto, but now it's too early for us to conclude the effect of Biden on crypto, after the inauguration of Biden I think there will be policies that might later affect the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the market.

I do not think that Biden would have interest regarding Cryptocurrencies since there are more things that he would like to attend to like mitigating the effects of the Corona Virus and keep the economy checked. Cryptocurrencies are another thing to talk about but it would only get attention once he appoints someone to attend to things that would relate on how Cryptocurrencies can affect their economy.

Unfortunately, we depend on political interests to improve and leverage the market and some interests for each project. In my opinion, I believe that in the near future the world of crypto will be separated from political updates and the interests of governments and large institutions. However, responding to the theme, Biden's entry may influence the dynamics and fluidity of the market due to some withdrawals of sanctions and rules thus exposed, maybe recognizing Bitcoin and its derivatives as an alternative to the global economy, after all this is the dream of all investors.

Covid19

White supremacy

I think he will be busy with all of that and maybe he will have time dealing with cryptocurrencies at almost the end of his term.

Its hard to know what whill happen in the next 4 years, so better to monitor closely and if there’s a good news every year coming from Biden administration, cryptocurrency is pump surely.

The problem i think here who is the president is not going to affect this market, i think we all have to agree that after a gloomy 2020 year with epidemics, we need to a lot of change things: economics, technology,.... And here i see crypto as one of the key factors to help change that, agree that everyone will have their own way of economic development, but i think what is the general trend cannot be changed.

USA is an influential country in the world, so it's normal if every policy made by the president can affect the market. You can see that the first time Trump was inaugurated things changed. and I thought it would be the same as before. the problem is what policy will Biden take for the current crypto problem. Privacy and fraud in the crypto world have become an important concern in the USA in recent years. I'm afraid that Biden will make bad policies for the crypto industry in the future. like prohibiting all colors from using or trading crypto.

Changing President of USA doesn't change basically their foreign and financial policy But Donald Trump was openly against Bitcoin. Hence, Biden is a experienced politician and i believe he will not openly say against Bitcoin but their policy may remain same. If he supports or don't take any action against Bitcoin or crypto, it will better for crypto lovers.

I'm sure those with huge stakes in the Cryptocurrency or who are planning, will lobby with the administration to be Crypto friendly, we have a good momentum, the market is showing strength, and companies are now in adoption mode, we don't want any strict restriction coming from a strong president like the United States of America.

I have heard a lot of people talking about this, the election developments are very stressful and I think it is still unclear who will be president of the USA. But i think the economic policies of both are good for our market, people are expecting Biden Win to get $ 7000B in the market in the near future. But i think with what they are as we have been going through the past time, it is quite possible to be optimistic that big countries like the USA and China will not give up this market and I also see that they are working as much as possible on a crypto war.

I think the crypto market will stay the same during Joe Biden's presidency because the authorities usually ignore bitcoin and blockchain technology; that is why Biden didn't mention any cryptocurrency issue during his presidential campaign. But if Joe Biden starts to recognize it and makes a crypto policy, I think it would be a good sign for the market.

If the Biden presidency has any effect on the crypto world it will be very interesting, because the price of bitcoin is rising so fast after Biden in the current U.S. presidential election, maybe the influence of democrats related to the movement of stocks so that crypto developments also feel that way, and we just wait for the next surprise from the cryptocurrency world for the foreseeable future.

So far it is difficult to say something about this, because before Biden did not said anything special about cryptocurrencies because he did not care about it, but now Biden has become the President of the United States and now he will have to do something with cryptocurrencies and of course I would like Biden to be on the side of cryptocurrencies, or at least I hope Biden has neutral opinion about cryptocurrencies.

This is not easy to speak about this topic but Biden is an experienced politician so probably he will not do anything that goes against of crypto. Hopefully it will be a great year and the result will be on favour of crypto.
And bitcoin is not a burning topic such that he needs to do anything different. Yeah there have been times when the crypto topic is hot and everyone talks about it but the laws regarding bitcoins and crypto in general are already made and there are more important topics than to get involved with bitcoins for Biden.

There are pandemic times for everyone and he would better do something about that as we all know Trump created a mess, sorry to the Trump fans/followers but that is the truth because Trump did nothing apart from lashing out at China and calling it a Chinese Virus so hopefully now Biden does something to life the economy.

Unfortunately, we depend on political interests to improve and leverage the market and some interests for each project. In my opinion, I believe that in the near future the world of crypto will be separated from political updates and the interests of governments and large institutions.
Not sure about that but there were news that if Biden actually wins which he did then the stocks market will be influenced negatively and people will sell their shares once Trump loses but all those news evaporated now as he won and I haven't heard any news of their market falling down or anything like that.

From all indications, Joe Biden administration will be favorable to crypto. Some people were in the opinion that if Trump lost, BTC will dump massively but the reverse is the case.
I do not understand why people are so insecure and worried about crypto because the US already has assigned SEC for the crypto exchanges and there is no reason to shut everything suddenly and ban Bitcoins.

I haven't seen him said anything about cryptocurrency or BTC but who knows may be his policy might be inviting. He was vice president and during Obama tenure they were never anti crypto or Btc. Crypto was in existence then and was never threatened perhaps it was still gaining traction.
Unlike Mr Trump that will tweet anything from his office on how he so much hate bitcoin and never believe bitcoin as currency built on thin air.
But come to think of it, now that PayPal has opened gate for BTC, do Americans has choice ( the big investors wouldn't want to loose this opportunity to be the next big players)

I think it has nothing to do with crypto currency, US doesn't control this technology and no one has the power to control as well and that's how it was developed. However as a powerful countries president Biden will come with some regulations on how to use crypto currency and I believe it may not affect crypto currency.

My though is that the new President aka Biden will not have any dramatical impact on the price of bitcoin or any other cryptos. Numerous of issues are waiting for him to solve. Voters expect him to care more about other problems not just the economy

US president never make a clear statement about cryptoccurencies since it was created in 2008 and i believe the situation will be the same for the next 4 years. Our decentralized blockchain will continue to develop without having any restraints

Yes, because there hasn't been an official decision that states Biden is against or supporting him. perhaps right now the challenges that will be taken up by the new president are the real economy in America and the handling of Covid 19. As for cryptocurrency, Biden will form a special team to make a mutual agreement. if this provides a big advantage for the American economy, automatically Biden's alignments with crypto will be even better. the most important thing is to wait for the strategies and solutions that Biden will take.

I'd like to be positive Biden uses common sense and the right decision based on his policy of wearing a mask and addressing the issue of CoVid, I hope I am right in my assessment that Biden will let things as it should and protect that is already well established like Cryptocurrency.
I have no idea if he is pro or against Cryptocurrency and does not want to speculate although some people are already doing this.

I agree with you that the current popularity of crypto which has been accepted by many people is the most important and influential for crypto, so we don't need to be afraid of the effects that will occur on crypto during the Biden presidency (whether negative or positive), if we take the worst case scenario, that is Biden prohibits and gives negative opinion on crypto (although this is very difficult to happen), but it will not affect the confidence of investors to invest in crypto, because crypto has often received negative news and until now crypto still survives, this happens because the popularity of crypto, so there are still many investors who believe to investing in crypto and I'm sure crypto will survive until whenever, because the most important thing for crypto is investor confidence, so whoever the president in America or any Country has a negative impact on crypto, then I believe it will not affect the popularity of crypto.

Why does the Bitcoin future seem like be controlled/determined by US president? Is Bitcoin not decentralized anymore?
As far as I learn about Bitcoin, it should be decentralized. Even if many countries in the world experienced a crisis in the economy, but crypto market can keep growing. So why we must be afraid of the policies made by the US president? Moreover, many Americans are using crypto as their business now. As a new president, I doubt if Biden will risk his reputation by making worse policies for crypto users.

This depends a lot on Biden's ideology but I think he is not too opposed to cryptocurrencies. in the near future he will even nominate Gary Gensler (one of the people who studied Cryptocurrency in the early years) to lead the Financial Policy Transition Team. This is the good news that I read on 11/11.
https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/curse-or-blessing-for-bitcoin-and-ripple-biden-confirms-gary-gensler/
In addition, there has been no government action when major tech funds such as Square or MicroStrategy participated in buying Bitcoin in bulk. This means that they are easing the investment limit for businesses. I think the government has been too friendly with Crypto these days. ;D

Majority of the movement of the price in the market depends so much on traders and the community, our collective efforts are what guide us, I on my part have nothing to do with Biden, as no part of my decision on the past has something to do when Trump is still holding office, I hope they go friendly but there are so many issues to tackle in the US than getting their noise in Cryptocurrency.

Yeah. My guess is that Biden will be more much friendly to crypto than Trump ever was. His tweet about accepting Bitcoin donations, tells us that the Biden administration will be much softer towards crypto and Blockchain tech in general. I think the Biden presidency will prove to be very bullish for Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies on the market. The next 4 years will be very interesting.

We're going to have to wait and see until Biden is inaugurated as President on January 20, 2021. After that, we'll be able to see crypto and the stock market's behavior in the mainstream world. With a COVID-19 vaccine already announced, it shouldn't be long enough before everything goes back to normal. The crypto market will be heading to the moon with each BTC halving every 4 years. It's up to us to invest early in order to reap the rewards in the future. If the pace continues, Bitcoin might be able to become Gold's successor in the long term. Let's hope for a fruitful 4 years of Biden's presidency where both the mainstream economy powered by Fiat and the decentralized economy powered by crypto recovers to the way they were before the pandemic took the world by storm. Just my thoughts ;D

If crypto will not give a threat to US then there is a big chances that crypto in US will remain as it is or it will soar towards a new heights if we will go lucky in getting the support of Biden.

Same way I have been thinking. It doesn't make any sense to just predict what he has for cryptocurrencies when he hasn't  assumed office, make proper appointment of his economic advisers, appointment of ministers. Many people are just being predictive over his leadership with the way his party had ruled previously. Even if he is to follow the the footprint of his political party, he has his own vision, mission and policies to implement. As times goes by we'd be thrilled with how he affects Bitcoin positively or negatively with his economic policies

what is clear is later how his policies as president regarding the economy, investment, and stocks. As a superpower, America is certainly a lot of consideration for other countries in terms of the economy, including in the crypto world. If there is positive regulation on crypto, the market will increase considering that other countries will also apply the same regulations.
Therefore, America's role here is very important, considering other countries will reconsider what will be Biden's decision, especially in the economy-based sector, because if the policies are not as expected it will only exacerbate the problem. . .
In my opinion, as a superpower, Biden will consider the best solution that can be accepted by all parties.

Joe biden just got elected but cryptocurrency was pumping before the election started. Bitcoin is on the bullrun but altcoins price hasn't started yet. You are right, but cryptocurrency is illegal in the USA even though so many investors we have from there. Only countries that are friendly to the United States that does not have a regulation in place, other countries already set up their own regulations on Cryptocurrency, so if the United States create one of their own, it will not have impact on other countries which already have, maybe only those countries that are strict to Cryptocurrency, like in India.

There are no good ones in that cohort. This is unacceptable for a statesman)) However, some of them can hardly be called short-sighted and it is unlikely that anyone will refuse to receive income from the fact that people use crypto.
Perhaps we need to wait for at least the first official statement by Biden in his role as president regarding cryptocurrencies. Based on this, it will already be possible to draw some conclusions and assumptions. Even if Biden said something as a candidate for the presidency, then, as always, different statements by politicians have nothing to do with their real activities as president.

Biden is not currently president of America, because Trump still served as president of America until the end of January 2021.
So we can't yet see what policy Biden will take regarding cryptocurrency. But if you look at the track record of Biden who is

The future of how Bitcoin will react doesn't in a way clear to anyone, Bitcoin might move from what we used to know it for when Biden gets into the presidency but who knows? only time will tell. Possibly we might see some good and positive verbs from Biden if he's interested to injects into the US economy from their reserves, this will help move Bitcoin forward. Also, according to Cynthia she will bring forth Bitcoin into the senate for debate as a store of value which should be embrace.

Same thing as if Biden announce that they are going to support any crypto currency . They know it will have big affect to us dollar if ever they will going to support it so idont expect so much with Biden presidency.

they may even be more strict in using crypto currency it because they want to restore their economy to its former vitality which has been severely affected by the pandemic.

Thanks :)
Do you remember Trumps statements that were against crypto as he believed that crypto does not have real value so it should not be encouraged so being his political opponent i am quite sure that Joe Biden will be in favor of crypto and i am sure there are good times coming ahead for crypto.

I agree with you that the current popularity of crypto which has been accepted by many people is the most important and influential for crypto, so we don't need to be afraid of the effects that will occur on crypto during the Biden presidency (whether negative or positive), if we take the worst case scenario, that is Biden prohibits and gives negative opinion on crypto (although this is very difficult to happen), but it will not affect the confidence of investors to invest in crypto, because crypto has often received negative news and until now crypto still survives, this happens because the popularity of crypto, so there are still many investors who believe to investing in crypto and I'm sure crypto will survive until whenever, because the most important thing for crypto is investor confidence, so whoever the president in America or any Country has a negative impact on crypto, then I believe it will not affect the popularity of crypto.
yes, but there are few things that we have to be aware of. Every little bad information is very influential in the world of crypto

However, you should take into account his age. If I am not mistaken, Mr. President (the elected one) is 78. Nevertheless, he is from Democrats, and many powerful people there support cryptocurrencies. Crypto might see the best times soon.
Don't look at the age because if you open your mind you will definitely accept the current fact that crypto is very popular and the USA will definitely not want to be left behind in this regard.

First I would like to congratulate Bitcoin investors, and they should be happy, because the price of Bitcoin has continued to skyrocket during the 2020 United States Presidential election period. according to the Cointelegraph report, Crypto traders and analysts have started looking for information to determine Biden policy moves for the cryptocurrency sector. It looks like the crypto community agrees that a president who says nothing about cryptos is preferable to a president who has underestimated cryptocurrency. Trump defeat is supported by Qiao Wang (leader in the DeFi Alliance's decentralized financial accelerator), because Trump had said negative things about BITCOIN and LIBRA some time ago, So we will see how the cryptocurrency continues after Biden is inaugurated next year.

Bitcoin skyrocketed not because of the US presidential election. The US presidential election was held on November 3.
While Bitcoin had already seen a rise before November, even before a large PayPal company announced it would adopt bitcoin,
bitcoin had already ridden high.
Actually, whoever serves as President of the United States, bitcoin can’t be set up. If Bidden is pro against bitcoin,
perhaps Biden is just a pusher factor for his time adopting bitcoin. But bitcoins can’t be under the president’s monitoring.

So far bitcoins are rallying since Biden won the election. I hope we are seeing similar results in the next 4 years. In my opinion is Biden pro Trade compared to Trump. Trump tried to protect his country and reduce free trade all around the world. Now Biden will hopefully change the stand of USA and create free trade agreements with more countries. Higher trade means higher currency flows around the globe and likely a surge in crypto trade too.

In the leadership of Biden, bitcoin will be fine, not as many people worry about, just after Biden was elected bitcoin soared.  even though many seniors say, if Biden is chosen then it will have a bad impact on bitcoin, and it turns out that this is not true.
In any case, under the Biden presidency, it will not get worse with regard to cryptocurrency.  Trump was openly opposed to Bitcoin and spoke out negatively about it.  And it is unlikely that the presidents of the United States can already greatly influence the situation with the popularity and distribution of cryptocurrency.  The process has started and it is already irreversible.

We need to wait if what this new leader see this market, even Trump is very vocal under this new admin there are assessments that may take place,

we are still hoping that there are no major issue with Biden and how his government will take this crypto industry, for now it's all about how the market

shows in order to bring good images to this leader it's still better to think positively while waiting for it.

As long as the Senate stays in the hands of the Republicans and the House in the hands of the Democrats, i don't think Wallstreet will have much of a problem with it and will not dump stocks on a large scale
(which could affect the crypto market, depending on how attached the crypto market still is to the stock market).

If both the House and the Senate comes in hands of the Democrats (depending on two runoff races in Georgia, January 2021), then Wallstreet could see it more as a threat (more chance of new higher tax laws from Democrats passing both the House and the senate), and maybe bearish sentiment will start to flow into the US stock market, perhaps extending to the crypto market as well.

I suspect though this will only have a short term impact, Bitcoin seems pretty bullish at the moment and should have no problem recovering from that.
I don't think the Biden presidency itself, will have much effect on crypto.

Just remember though, every bull run will come to an end at some point, often when least expected.

I don't think that the election of biden has a big impact on the crypto scene.
Maybe if he gives a clear statement that he wants to help cryptocurrecies to become established in traditional institutions maybe that would have an impact.
I'm not sure if something like this is to be expected from a 77 year old.  ::)
Recently it was announced that Gary Gensler a Wall strett veteran who is close to the crypto market will lead a financial policy transition team, let's see what comes out of that.

He just got elected and we can't judge him now. It is true that the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a pump at the moment, but that's not necessarily the impact of it. But I hope the cryptocurrency market will get better even though something bad could happen.

Agree. We may have to wait at least 2 years from Biden's presidency to be able to determine how the crypto market will react according to US regulations. My guess is that crypto will react positively to a Biden Administration, due to its friendly stance towards crypto/Blockchain tech. After all, it was shown that the Trump Administration was largely against crypto. With Biden declared as President-Elect, the next 4 years might be very exciting for the growth of the Blockchain industry. A huge pump will follow soon, as more people are investing into crypto like crazy. PayPal's latest announcement of adopting crypto into its platform will further contribute towards crypto's demand in the mainstream world.

All in all, I hope that a Biden presidency turns out to be quite beneficial for crypto in the long run. It's still too early to tell what the outcome will be, since Mr. Biden has recently been elected. Things could start kicking after inauguration day (January 20, 2021). The Biden Administration will focus on tackling the coronavirus pandemic first, as it's their utmost priority. After we beat COVID-19, we can talk about a prosperous growth in both the mainstream and decentralized economies. Just my thoughts ;D
