Hey, I'm kinda new to this world and I tried to analyze how will YFI perform in the future. I have also done some research and saw some graphics but since there are a lot of opinions and it gained a lot in just a week I would like to know yours.

Will it renounce to 40k again? Is it going down even more than the first time?

What's done is done. If you are still interested of buying it, take the risk and much better to expect not a lot from it.
It has took the spotlight and got itself to the top. And it's always known that once a coin goes to the top, there's a likely that it should go bottom. Why invest on it if you are new? newbies should invest to bitcoin.

If everyone do able to analyze and do know on what would happen into the future then we would be all rich.This is why this kind of decisions will matter on someones analysis and

in the end of the line your decision and risk management will really be mainly needed.If you do saw that YFI do still have that fire then you can buy on the current price and wait up

but for me once it had really slumped then i dont have much that kind of confidence on touching it again. 40k is just really too much of a hype on why it did really reach that far.

It will not bounce again to the its old ATH and it's not an easy task for YFI. The golden time of YFI has passed and andre has been making a better platform called keep3r.
YFI will be stable at this position consider when bitcoin gives a positive reaction to the market and YFI seems not get any movement from the bitcoin bullish trend.
I doubt this coin can achieve its ATH again.

There are some factors

1 hype ended
2 too much copy past project and this was eating the demand of YFI
3 The golden time cycle will be happening once in every 4 years
4 people are not interested again with YFI

YFI has to break the $ 18000 resistance to be bullish again, YFI has experienced a very severe Dump,
from $ 40000 to $ 8000 within 1 month, and now the price is back to $ 16600, it's terrible seeing this happen,
volatility is very high, you should avoid the project Defi.

I think if the projects continues to provide new income to hodlers then it has a possibility to bounce back but for now i think those pump chasers moved to new defi projects. there are new defi projects daily that are being listed and similar p and d scene is on-going.

I guess you will need sufficient data to have fair understanding of how it moves over a period of time. You should be able to pick up useful patterns that can help in your trade.
If you don't have alot of for research, you could simply buy whenever the price of the coin/token dips significantly and sell whenever it rises significantly.

never mind, forget YFI!, it's not easy for YFI to be able to return to an all time high of $ 40000 and above,
whose name Hype will be like this, don't let you repeat your mistakes again, forget YFI and investing in projects with good fundamentals,
even though it provides a long profit , but you are still very safe investing there.

It will be very difficult for YFI to reach $ 40k back when Bitcoin is at the center of every media channel.  As you see, Bitcoin is steadily growing right now and altcoins are once again bleeding.  The volume is mainly focused on Bitcoin, it seems that many people decide to hold Bitcoin at this price.
I am not saying that the Defi trend is over but it is not a good time to buy these tokens. We need to wait for Bitcoin Dominance fall and that is the time to buy Defi tokens, because that is the signal for the market to rebalance.

Everyone will certainly do as you say, that all should buy when the price drops and will sell when they feel that the increase is enough and are ready to sell. because that's how we will get the benefits that we really hope.

regarding YFI itself currently seems to be starting to follow the movement of bitcoin but the increase is clearly sharper than bitcoin. but whether to guarantee will be able to return to his heyday, I myself doubt that and at this time is the best price he received.

This is that same coin created by that guy whose first coin was a failure right? For me it seems pointless to try and analyze all these defi coins. Especially suspicious when the coin pumps so fast so soon when there really does not seem like there is a future for growth. Lots of opinions and they seem all equal to each other when you look at them. Utility is similar, so is the hype:)

If indeed you are serious with this question, I can see you losing your money in future, investing and trading a personal decision, just go and look at those that were told Ripple is going to $5 this year, they have all lost their money and many projects are out there like this, if you are not sure about any project do not invest into them because the advice you will get from people are just noise
