Title: For beginners which trading option is best and which platform and why?
Post by: Imran232 on November 15, 2020, 04:40:55 PM
From my experience i will suggest everyone to choose spot trading because spot trading has less risk than other trading option. Though trading is always risky just you have to understand all trading algorithm, strategies, technical analysis. You have to research about a project before investing money. After your research if you think that this project has a chance to grow up then just buy then wait some time for the price up and when the price is up then sell it. Everything you have to do manually that is why this is called spot trading don't need to set sny leverage also so don't have any liquidation tension.

My first choice platform for spot trading  is Binance exchange. This is no. 1 exchange in crypto world. Low trading fees, lowest withdraw fees plus most secured and 100% trusted and also comes many trading competition.

I think trading everywhere is the same, be it on binance, bithumb, bitrex and other platforms. having small or large capital, it would be the same if you did not have qualified knowledge. therefore to decide to trade, first learn all things related to crypto trading. be it in terms of profits, losses, reading price movements, as well as managing your assets as much as possible to avoid wrong trading patterns.

What's new? Trading discussion board filled by such as posts. You should add something new if you like to help others or beginner. There will be always a risk of trading either its leverage or spot trade. You are just saying it simply, but nothing simple there. When you are gaining someone losing on the other hands. Exchange not giving your profits, money is circulating among traders. So always keep in mind, earn from trading never easy.

This is not exactly true, the platform that you use in order to trade is extremely important, there are many reasons for that but probably the most important are the next three, volume, reputation and fees, if the exchange has not volume then it's going to be impossible for you to trade your coins and even if you can do so the spread is going to be higher which is never a good thing so you want an exchange with the highest possible volume, now exchanges know this which is why many fake their volume so you need to be careful.

I think the reputation aspect is self-explanatory since no one wants to put their money in an exchange with a bad reputation, and finally the fees, the fees are critical for your success, if the exchange has fees that are too high your system could turn from being profitable to not being profitable so always try to get the best fees possible no matter what.

Binance is the most secure, you say...

... Did you forget the platform was hacked last year (https://www.wired.com/story/hack-binance-cryptocurrency-exchange/)? Very secure yeah!  ;D
Oops, I forgot, 3 months later it was hacked again with a security breach and KYC information

This is the #1 exchange in crypto world, you add...

... LoL, the number 1 platform that gives users data to blockchain analysis company to snitch to government agencies, the number 1 platform working itself with an American agency (the Department of Homeland Security in the US) for a financial surveillance program and snitch...

... The same platform that will freeze your account in you try to transfer out Bitcoin to a Coinjoin address. The same exchange that "conceived of an elaborate corporate structure designed to intentionally deceive regulators and surreptitiously profit from crypto investors in the United States (https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldelcastillo/2020/10/29/leaked-tai-chi-document-reveals-binances-elaborate-scheme-to-evade-bitcoin-regulators/?sh=6e997b682a92)"

Choosing a good platform is an important step in tradung. By choosing a right one, you are in a proper way leading to trading. Dont underestimate that. High volume and liquidity exchange gives your more choices.

Then, after that, learning to trading is the next important thing to do. But for me, experience is the most important. Exercise more and more will make you become a better trader

Choosing a good platform is an important step in trading. .
Well, you have a point there, --it is the first step before having a trading activity. You should pick a good exchange first before trading your portfolio there.
I will recommend for the newbie traders is copy trading, there is an exchange platform as of now that has been hacked or scammed, I think people will most likely always doubtful of each other. That bad practice should not increase.

You can choose Binance or Etoro exchange platforms for your trading, it will surely easy for you to understand.

I have never tried leverage trading

I understand the risk and its reward but, I dont like to try it even if I know that I can take good care of my own risk tolerance.

I also suggest spot trading for beginners and do not yet try margin trading because of the high risks, if you cannot make money in spot trading then how you will make money in margin trading? It is about experienced, I also suggest others before they put real money better to try paper trading first in Etoro wherein you can practice trading with limited cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH , XRP, LTC and many more. You will only lose your first investment if you quickly put money wherein you are not yet know how to execute a certain trade.

That is right, we should master spot trading first before we move on in margin trading. There are a lot of information that we should learn first before transferring our funds into our margin funds. I tried  to make investment in margin because of my greed I think where I lose a lot of money because I made investment where my knowledge is still not enough. So the result is obvious where I lose all of my funds but it is ok for me because serves as knowledge for me. Binance is good especially in spot trading so I also suggest it. I do not have any account in Etoro so I do not know the features inside on it.

Binance is still quite secure, not for binance itself maybe but for you it is still secure. Let people say anything they want to say about binance because it is their right to say (freedom of speech) whatever they want. However when they provide you with facts that doesn't change anything for you, that is just funny.

Yes, binance was "hacked" and yet nobody ever lost anything, binance covered all the costs of the hack themselves without putting any cost on the customer. So, why would it matter to you that binance was hacked? They have 90%+ of their money on cold storage, so even if they are hacked again and again, they could always afford to pay people their money without making them lose anything, you can hack binance hot wallets once a week and they would still be capable of taking the hit themselves.

People would really be having those bad impressions when a certain platform had been hacked in the past where they do already have doubts in regards to its
security this is why its no surprise that we can really see these kind of sentiments which might really be that too unappealing for us people who do
know that Binance wont completely fall just because of that incident. They are still capable and well known and still sit on the top of the chain.
If they dont like to use it then let it be and find for another one but i doubt that theres no better option than on this one.

We keep on telling the beginners the same thing and I hope they adopted it so they wont lose money that much. We all know spot trading is very simple compare to other types of trading and of course dealing with the great exchange is a much so you wont experience any problem later on. My only advice is that, don't trade if you don't have any knowledge yet and keep on learning because trading is not an easy job and your money is on a big risk in trading.

Yes spot trading makes it much easier for newcomers but before that you need to have a good idea about trading before you start the main trade you are ready to trade and you can prepare for that with virtual money through demo trade. In this market you will get leverage facility to trade in huge range with your limited money it is also a spot trade or continuous flow market where you do not have to wait long to sell any shares you buy this means you can complete your trade in moments.

Of course newbies shouldn't enter a trading field without a weapon---the knowledge and the confidence.

While spot trading is suited for newbies as the margin trading and future trading are both more complex than the former, of course the reputable exchange where you will incorporate the trade is also significant to consider.
I, myself have chosen Binance exchange before the hack happens but like those who are old and has a good reputation exchanges, they are still vulnerable to hacks so be prepared with all the consequences when entrusting your funds to a particular trading platforms.

Very true and one should learn to make profits in spot trading and once they feel they have evolved enough and only lack funds then they can try leveraged trading because while it is risky you can buy and sell tokens worth much more than you deposit and allows better chance of higher profits.

I would say Binance is the best exchange right now but keep in mind to always withdraw whatever you have have left after trading all week because keeping money on exchanges has a relation and people in past have regretted that so no doubt Binance should never scam but better safe than sorry and crypto coins are yours only when you have the keys for the coins/tokens.

Option trade is riskier than margin trade and if you can not manage to do your margin trade good enough to avoid liquidations, you would never join option trade. Your money will be washed into the air with option trade.

If you have gambling blood, try to get profits with your investment and spend 10% of it for your tradings: option, margin. Don't use more than 10% of your profit for tradings.

Investment can help you get profit but you can get loss if you don't cut loss well so your profit can be taken away by the Mr. Market. Use 90% of your profits to prepare for loss from investments. The best is get your capital out and use only 90% of profit for reinvestment, 10% for option or margin trades

Apart from being consistent, Binance always prioritizes the safety and comfort of its traders. when there is something that concerns a member inconvenience, binance is always alert and provides solutions.

Spot trading is definitely the way to go for me as well. It is as expected as it could get and there is no "getting rich quick" with spot trading (most of the time) and there is no losing all your money in a day neither, it is just something that everyone could do and everyone could make a bit of profit from it.

I personally built a portfolio for myself, it is not actually "spot trading" because I just buy and hold, but at least it is definitely not the other methods, I buy like a spot trader but I sell like a spot trader few months (or hopefully years) later but my method is same as someone who does spot trading, just longer period of time in between. And I am quite happy with my current situation, I have grown my portfolio to include a lot more coins nowadays, specially increased my ETH right at the right time, and I feel like continuing doing that works the best.

During this time, it has also made much progress and added many new major features for its clients.

Good question! First of all a beginners must use only proven and reputable platforms.
There are many already suggested. My suggestion:
always make a quick research on google (exchange name + scam), check bitcointalk topic, see ranking and volume in CMC/Coingecko.
Check before making any deposit the fees of service (trading / withdraw) and KYC/AML Limits  ::) .

Spot trading is good for any new beginners, who want to go far in profit making in the market, if they can take research very serious in the trading activities, any time they are about to supply or demand from market. Any beginners who truly understand, how to use research to differentiate between bad project and good project in the market will go far in the area of profit making in the market.
Bitcoin is still rising which many traders are still asking, if it is time to supply to market for profit making, for them not to lose any profit in this season of bitcoin which is rising in the market, where other cryptocurrencies are reducing in the market that is causing some of their investors to start experiencing loss, since we enter pandemic.
According to some researcher, bitcoin will soon dump since other cryptocurrencies are preparing to improve in the exchange market.

I haven't seen many people berating Binance either that is the good thing because they hardly had any issues in past and even haters have found no reason to berate them. By the way freedom of speech is one thing and negative marketing or defamation is another.

Coming back to trading options I would always recommend Spot Trading simply because they give you the control and in case of market going down and below expected but you have the feeling that the value will rise again and you just need to hold because with Leverage Trading or Margin Trading you don't get that freedom and have to concede loss.

Aside from Binance, I want to spread the word to you and everyone else about other Chinese big exchanges that are also good for making a profit.
That is MXC exchange, Huobi Global. These are the 2 exchanges I've been trading with for a long time, especially I made a lot of money on buying tokens while listing. The token pump rate on listing on MXC and Huobi is more than 85%, making it difficult for us to lose money. Especially, this strategy is also very suitable for newbies. ;D

After that hacking incident Binance proves that they are capable to returned all those hack coins, the insurance has been proven to work properly some delayed happened to make sure that everything has been traced, the team was been given a high approval ratings after that now they are being mostly used by traders both short and long term investors.

Never to forget to keep your educaton from each project that you are eyeing to participate, the more you understand the project the better
chance that you'll gain good compensations and avoid or lessen the chance of losing your hard earned investments.

No doubt Binance has earned themselves that position but that doesn't mean they're the best all round. We have platform that can boldly compete with Binance. Binance can't be said to be 100% secured since they have been expioted in the past and the chance of that happening again is certain since it's a centralized exchange that operate with a centralized server.

I think there are many distractions on Binance that a newbie can easily get distracted and lose focus of their intentions on the platform which is trading. The launchpad and launchpool features are just one of many of this distractions.

Most coins getting attention from the customers due to them been on Binance won't have been successful assuming they didn't leverage on Binance popularity.

There is no type of trading that is difficult, as long as you have knowledge about it, it is not going to be hard for you. It all goes down to what you like best, if you discover the type of trading you prefer the most then it’s up to you to pursue it and learn about, you can get anyone to teach you about that particular type of trading, anyone you know that’s doing really great in that area. Once you have learnt and understood that type of all round you wouldn’t have much difficulties in making use of the strategy.

As for exchanges, we know Binance is a good one, there isn’t a need looking for any other when Binance is working for you.

I understand that the word "best" could mean different things to different people. But for many people best means that the most loved and used one and binance is just like that.

Definitely maybe you could find some places with better technology or even design or anything really, but that doesn't change the fact that binance is number one for many people. Think about it like bitcoin for example, when you look at the tech behind bitcoin it was certainly the first but it is also not the best right now, there are tons of better blockchains in the market but bitcoin is still number one in market cap right?

Same goes for binance as well, even if there are better places for how they were made, it would still be "worse" in the sense that people will still mainly pick binance.

Majority of noobs or new people who do believe that trading isnt really that hard to engage on but let those experience do slap out the reality into their faces and made them realize that it isnt really simple as it sounds.

When it comes to best platforms and talking about options then i wouldnt recommend this for noobs because options is just somewhat like with gambling which a bit more riskier compared with spot trading and just
like similar with leverage ones.

I wouldnt say that this one isnt really learnable but it is way too risky and its much better if you do start on the ground first and try to familiarize everything.
In option you are dealing with volatility with the shortest time as possible this is why it wont really be that much of a recommendation for noobs.

Many beginners do not know the basics of how to trade in the market. It will cost him money. their knowledge and insights are not broad enough and they do not understand what they are trading. This is a common thing, but providing good and correct education for them will turn them into beginners who understand what to do when they want to start trading for the first time.

Choosing a good platform or Exchange is imperative because it will determine your trading comfort. Choose the one that is recommended by many people. I myself recommend Binance more, because Binance is the best trade in my opinion. But the most important thing is not to store all assets on the Exchange platform, because hacking will also happen. Use your personal wallet and secure the wallet.

Then remember, teaching about analysis techniques and fundamentals is very important, it will help to read where the market is going occur.

My first choice platform for spot trading  is Binance exchange. This is no. 1 exchange in crypto world. Low trading fees, lowest withdraw fees plus most secured and 100% trusted and also comes many trading competition.
Not everyone can enjoy such features especially the cryptocurrency trader from country like US because there are restricions due to the regulation policies of respective nations. None of the centralized exchanges are 100% secured because even in the recent times there wre hack attacks with most reputed crypto exchanges so if it is possible then we can use the decentralized exchanges as well where we can get anonymity and security for our funds.

Binance had indeed had some issues over the past two years. It is not that it's only Binance that has suffered because of hacking; many other exchanges have also been hacked. Nonetheless, it is one of the best and biggest cryptocurrency exchange out there and number 1 choice of the most crypto traders. During this time, it has also made much progress and added many new major features for its clients.
That's centralized exchange that exchange is only use for trading crypto currency , there are many hacking incident in exchange before not only in binance. but binance has found a way to return the hacked money to its users and that is also the reason why many are more confident to use it because they know how to take action everytime something like this happens in their exchange.
Yeah, the biggest problem when using a centralized exchange is their trustworthiness and for DEX there are other problems like the transaction fees was insanely high last time I tried uniswap.

Returning users money after the exchange was hacked is actually a great sign because this brings more stability and recognition and I was not among the ones who lost their coins and got refunded but I heard the whole story and it was a nice gesture from Binance.

The best trading option for someone new depends on their capital and appetite for loss and profits and based on that one can chose to trade altcoins, do day trading with bitcoins or even invest for long term.

We know that centralized exchanges are very high volume and liquidity compared to the decentralized ones that it will probably take time before your order will be executed. Nevertheless, I suggest to those beginners to make a study and research first before they will go into trading because each trading platform has its own features and also have pros and cons for the users.

Indeed, if you choose trading future as a beginner you will have 5% even less to mentain your capital. Most of beginner should avoid the trading future or trading that use laverage. Spot trading is good for someone who just new and will try to be a trader. Maybe you just need to learn about technical analyst first until you know support and resistence and then you are ready to start, just it.

You don't need to learn about fundamental analyst if you choose short term trader. But yeah, the profit that you get is depend on your capital. If we compare with trading future maybe you just need $100 and use 20x laverage per every trade and you have good analyst, you have a chance to gain $100 per day to gain profit.

Localbitcoin is the good website and you should have a try with that website. The transaction fee was low and you can buy at any price and not think about the bitcoin price. You can create your own advertising with your own price. If any one sell with your price, you may get more bitcoin at less price.

Before entering the trade, it takes knowledge and expertise to minimize the risk of loss. I know usually when the crypto market, especially bitcoin,
is being bullish as it is now, this is very attractive to anyone. Many people see it as easy to profit and can get rich quickly if they see movement now,
this according to newbie’s view.
But the fact of buying when cheap and selling at high times is not easy in its implementation. There’s a lot to learn. So with a market bullish like now,
this does not guarantee your trades are not at risk of losing.

I understand that the word "best" could mean different things to different people. But for many people best means that the most loved and used one and binance is just like that.
For me best means that offer the complete package for - Security, features and ease of using the platform and yeah Binance is a good one that provides all the three.

Same goes for binance as well, even if there are better places for how they were made, it would still be "worse" in the sense that people will still mainly pick binance.
Because trusting a new exchange with your money is hard and not worth it. New exchanges will slowly make their name but I would not recommend trying a new exchange just because they need support. They can provide features like no fees trades and attract users for a few months and once they are well known they can always get more traders on their platform.

I think best option for beginner is start with spot trading and looking on platform binance because have many coin and become best way how to get much profit, I think many exchange market have any option coin for trading but Binance could give service with many coins to buy and sell. Binance look easy platform when your try for trading because there are have easy way how to start sell or buy. But for beginner better use small money first time when start trading and after know how to begin with trading you can use bigger amount of your money. first time I try to trading with minimum amount $30 and I am looking with good coin have faster for growing up or down, I think with potential coin have slowly moving to higher price is not good recommendation.

For me, it is better to always seek advice through the books of speculators with experience in the market where they teach how to understand the market, but not that they teach Technical Analysis, the AT is good, but when you have a good understanding of the market, the I consider that the best trading for beginners is long-term, so that you have time to react to sudden movements.

Among the best platforms I prefer Bitfinex, because they have to place the Stop and Take Profit at the same time, this helps to cut losses, although the fees are very high.

profit and loss is the second option, the most important thing is persistence and seriousness in making every decision when making a purchase or when going to sell.

But no use of those platform if anyone don't know about trading perfectly.exchange like binance is important but i think exchanges can't do much but gives you security & addressing you with others traders.its your responsibility to trade with your best.moreover i also like spot trading, although it isn't easy as you told but set any leverage is so risky, even you are a professional trader

trading is better to trade based on your own experience as trading makes trading much easier to practice the market and an easy way to avoid losses for newcomers. trading is not possible to analyze well in the case of helping others. newcomers become frustrated when the market changes. The market is not able to rise with trading Based on your own experience, the market changes easily and trading is best to follow the strategy of the trade. Allows you to make profit easily and reduce the risk from other sites.

There are a lot of materials and tuts that they can find in the web.

Binance is the best that is what we are seeing all over the place but we have some alternatives to the Binance?
Kraken, Kucoin, Bitfinex, etc.

Many of them actually can work as an alternative or where a trader is confident with.

Centralized exchanges are not the boogeyman. I understand that many people have lost their money in many of these exchanges but what people are forgetting is that no huge one has been hacked and lost customers money in the recent years. Binance, kucoin, polo, bittrex, bitfinex these are all still fine and there are ton of others like them.

The only ones that lost your money are the small ones plus the old ones back in the day. Sure there is still a chance centralized exchange could lose your money, but that doesn't mean that dex are so great neither, they could get hacked and hackers could find a code in the system they could get in and take all of your money as well which has happened, this doesn't make us blame ALL dex neither so it shouldn't do that for cex as well.

If you are new, I would say spot trading in binance would be the way to start, it will teach you the basics of trading and basics of investment as well, you will learn what you will need to learn there and that would be the end of it for that stage.

Right now, there are tons of people who are moving their tokens around using dex puttin them on either liquidity providing or staking into smaller and brand new projects to "mine" them out instead of using gpu rigs, and they are putting their initial money not at risk while trying to make money from those new projects which may make some money or may end up not making anything neither.

These are a bit more advanced stuff, like how some people do 100x leverage in order to make more profit, you should not aim those things if you are new.

Would recommend one platform with choice of user interface based on level like Binance (simple/advanced)

A classic beginner strategy is to "Buy the dip" (market suddenly turn red and lose >5-10%: it's a buy with a sell at +5-10%)

Can also start with limit orders (needs to be a minimum active):
- Buy limits just up previous resistance level to buy any flash crash
- Or sell limit just bellow current resistance when bull market.

Main difficulty in trading is to control emotions (and experience helps).

Nope, both are not actually same because there are lot more features available on centralized exchanges compared to decentralized exchanges. Decentralized exchanges are going to be hard for the beginners to understand the trading process so they may end up losing their funds that is why it is better to start with centralized exchanges and also reputed exchanges offers decent amount of withdrawal limit even without no KYC limit.

For beginners it is best to do own researching about what trading really is because you must get yourself familiar about a certain thing you wish to get engage. Self learning it will give you decent ideas and information about it because if you are really eager to get engage, you must learn what trading really is at first. Knowledge is a must have first in trading before trying out on engaging into the application of doing trading. You can also start up doing trials as a beginner but certainly you cannot expect success with that although you can learn things out of that which is another way of acquiring knowledge as well as experience to better understand trading. After learning those, then that is the time you find a platform where you can trade and that is up to you for there are lots of trading platforms and you better explore it to find which suits to you.

For beginners it is good to go with Binance or one among the top cryptocurrency exchange. Here you'll see a big list of cryptocurrency pairs, and a big list of pairing against the stablecoins. Whenever a new or beginner level person gets into trading, this will make the person understand trading easily than getting complicated. These days I used to see lots of trading application ads popping out while surfing. So, everyone has known atleast a little to use and start trading.

The exchange to make use of should be based on what you really want. It is better for the person who is looking for an exchange to join and start trading to look for the top trading exchanges and after they have gotten the list of top exchanges, they can start comparing them based on features and offers, and through that they make the decision for themselves on which exchange will suit their need.

There are people who prefer making use of Coinbase, and if you ask them they have their own reason, and there are also those that prefers Binance, they have their reason why that’s their best choice. Just like that there are also those that are into other things.

Totally agree with you. Spot trading is less risky than any other form of trading. In trading, there are many things you need to learn and you can not obtain everything in just a couple of days. Trading is a long process and you have new experiences day by day. By using spot trading, you will minimize the loss because you might suffer losing money from the first days of trading.

And as you say, Binance is definitely the best exchange currently. Opening in 2017 but they soon gained lots of attention from traders and crypto enthusiasts. They keep adding new features as well as educated information to enhance the trading experience which pleases traders very well. If you are a new trader, remember to look at Binance before joining any other exchange. The best of the best

IN my opinion, as what I am experiencing and doing it also, I will use spot trading. Additionally, I will also choose a local exchange in my country that is trusted and under government law and registered there, so it will be more secure.
It is done because a newbie may not know which exchange is good and reputable. And commonly they will deposit it by fiat and local exchange is the best way to make it.
However, if you got coins for trading from several certain programs, you can choose Binance as the referred exchange. This is also very reputable and there are many choices of coins and also trading types.

And also one to remember, please do not head directly to future trading even you got a VIP signal from VIP group future trading. Because it may not work at you fully and you can lose your funds easily. SO, start from basic in spot trading.

Because I myself started trading without trading knowledge and made huge losses. So there are many things to consider when you start trading.

I believe that mastering such a complex occupation as trading cannot go without losses, however, beginners should minimize losses as much as possible. You are right, first you need to get some theory, but theory without practice is useless. Therefore, it is better to do both at the same time. Getting the theory, and immediately working it out on a demo account, is the key to quick learning and mastering trading skills.

Practice with small amounts and this is what i had done when i do start up from being noob in trading.Losses are inevitable thats why its just incorrect for you to think that
you should make out some perfect trades. In talks about trading option then i wont really be suggesting this stuff on newbies since this is some sort of gambling on predicting
neither the price would go up or down into your entry point and basing on what you have chosen neither up and down then you would have 50-50 chance on winning
but the true essence of trading are actually on spot trade rather than in futures or options.
