Thanks for sharing. Damn even coinbase got a fake giveway. People will surely take precautionary measure with this since coinbase doesnt have a token, people tend not to throw any attention with this.

Based on website its obviously a scam one. The website should be immediately turn down to avoid such newbie even falling for this cheap trick.

Scammers are taking advantage right now because we are in a bull run, we just touch $18k momentarily, so this criminals rush as well to join the fun with this kind of fake giveaways using Coinbase.

And thanks to the OP for giving us a warning and we should report this kind of websites right away so that no noobs will fall for this.

Obviously this only propped up the name with Coinbase to make it seem even more unlucky that they were using the big exchange name again.

They won't realize whether Coinbase has any tokens but for beginners they are not ambitious to do that and are still this scamer just as usual by having to deposit BTC, ETH, XRP.

well. One thing is coming to my mind actually what is speciality of this layout/theme looks like medium? I saw most of the giveaway and fake airdrops are using this theme to create fake giveaways. Is there any speciality of it? Or this is the only one group are scamming this way?

Scammers have been doing this kind of scam giveaway using the name of Coinbase for a long time. And now the amount of this giveaway will increase at a much higher rate because the market is now on an up trend. Scammers are no longer silent, they are now trying to scam crypto users using every way and every moment.

Thank you for alerting others by sharing it.

That could actually be an article on medium but the account created is a fake account for Coinbase and the link would also be the phishing link I assume. The used medium as a source since the medium makes the content look more genuine and sort of coming from the actual companies. Little do people know anyone can create an account with any name and write articles. Can even buy claps, feedback etc.

Good thing that it is already taken down. Much better than warning people about the website because it is still open. The only problem that I can see here is that the scammers will only create another scam website and scam buster are on the race to find out this new website with the same schemes. While perusing my social media feed, I had a glimpse of this giveaway although I payed it no heed because I knew for a fact that most giveaways in crypto are either scams or not worth it.

The newbies especially those who didn't know this forum will easily fall into this trap.

Take a look to all the comment, they have created a good review for this airdrop, the medium must do something wise to tackle fraud and fall many victims.

Yes, but who knows, maybe there is some who also is experience in crypto can fall for this trap because it is Coinbase.

They've taken advantage of Medium and Medium like social platform. But all of the review are fake.

Thanks to those who have reported it, the site has been taken down already.
