It ook me two months to get two nvidia 3080s

I wonder how hard these amds will be to get.

All european sites are down as well. I'm out of luck as well.

Dizzy Mining has made a video on YouTube. The Hashrate is bad ... 65 MH/s with 170 Watts ... that's much bader than a 5700XT at 50 MH/s with 100 Watts. This Card is not made for Mining !

First tests, wait some time and you will see much better hashrates, i think 65mh/s at 120w are possible.

Dizzy Mining video is very useless ^^ testing time 8minutes is to short, he change settings and wait 10 sec wow what a test lol

Better hashrates? i dont think so, it will have a better power consumption with undervolting but that is it.

I am curious about other algorithms. Eth around 70 is realistic, purely based on memory bandwidth. But maybe some other algos will be much better.

looks like nvidia 3080 is pretty good but a power hog.

mine do 94 and 91

or 185 at 530 watts measured on the wall with a kwatt meter.

i have some four card amd 5600 that do about 168 mh at 460 watts.

so nvidia 3080 is a bit more power hungry but uses less space

the 6800 xt uses less power

and the 5700xt and 5600 xt are still okay.

just wait for optimizations from miner developers. then it will hit its performance 100-120mhs 6800xt will do i think with much more less power.

Do you see how many more transistors got added to the GPU as in cores. You can't power them with hamsters - they need electricity. "100-120MH/s with much more less power" - I have a bridge to sell you.

63-64 can be squezzed out of it on around 130w software power, but that is still bad for cards with this many CUs

Yeah I completely struck out as well.  I kept refreshing websites and the most annoying was newegg.  It went from no results for rx 6800 to a page full of them sold out within 5 seconds.

Sorry, but never heard about 5700 giving 3Mhs
We can expect an improvement to something like 70Mhs, with optmized drivers, update of miner program, maybe some bios mod to adjust the timings, but achieve 100 or 120Mhs it's almost impossible if the card is giving 65Mhs with OC already, I don't believe in such miracle
Looks like only 3080 and 3090 will hit +100Mhs this generation, but with a lot of power, 250w in RTX 3080

For comparison, 2 RX 5700XT can do 110Mhs easily, consuming 260w together at the wall, and they are available, easy to find and buy

i have 3090 ftw3 and it does 107Mhs (edited: stock freqs)

sadly the scalpers lined up like 24 hours ahead of release and camped all night... i came in the morning right by opening and there was NOTHING on the shelves... no amd cpus nor any 3000 nvidias or 5000 or 6000 series amd gpus...

you cannot find it at anywhere.
