As we all know we face so many circumstances in 2020,  that could have crashed bitcoin and alt coins market. Economy of many countries has down very fast. The covid-19 is still around. As this year is going to finish but i see many good changes in this time frame. In my opinion crypto performed very well is this time.

I can say yes, the cryptocurrency market really performed well this year.
My basis is the total market cap of cryptocurrency. The lowest market cap we experienced this year was around $150 Billion, I hope this will be the lowest for this year. And the highest is around $500 billion. I also believe that this pandemic may affect the market cap of crypto.

But we still need to be careful, the year 2020 still not finish, still a lot more to happen before the year ends.

It's not only very well but crypto has been bringing on the golden momentum again. The pandemic didn't make crypto to get its best performance. So many people were also trying to use crypto.
The demand of crypto was not only coming from the personality but big companies even some countries have been taking crypto in their main consideration.

Crypto, or specifically bitcoin, prove it can survive even with the pandemic. Not just survived but it grows to something unexpected.

No one anticipates this kind of growth during a pandemic wherein the majority is supposed to save money because of unemployment or few options or source of income. But even with lots of circumstances, we are seeing bitcoin destroying all speculations that it can reach a good price until the pandemic is here.

The growth is strong compare to 2017. I'm expecting a crash but not the same as in 2018.

As you said, the crypto market now performed well enough this year, and it seems the crypto market will increase more before the end of this year.
Hopefully, the crypto market will have a bull run that will come this month or next month, so when the new year comes, the crypto market will have more power to recover and increase higher.
But before that time, we need to be careful because the price will have many corrections, which can be a dump for every coin at the market.

Most markets are at all time highs, not only bitcoin and crypto. Many of this has to do with all the money printing that they had to do with so many currencies to keep people from starving who couldn't work. Basically the more money out there, the less valuable it is. So people are buying stocks like crazy and are buying crypto like crazy.

Some stocks like Tesla and Zoom are so overvalued, they got maybe 10 years worth of P/E ratio already built into them. MAkes no sense for the stocks to be this high. However people basically don't want to hold any cash since its value is dropping like a rock. Since the stock market is on highs, many people have started to put their money into crypto since there is no inflation to worry about and seems like a store of value.

Might be like this until the interest rates start to go up, look at the Dollar index and look how poorly its performing.

Saying the pandemic didn't make crypto to get it's best performance is wrong, the pandemic created an opportunity for Bitcoin investors at the time and many are too blind to see this, another thing is the pandemic confused many companies that crypto is better than stock market

Crypto really did perform very well, more specifically btc just see the graph for the last decade it's already up for thousands percent far surpasses many of our expectation while other alts are holding well aswell amidst the pandemic.
I guess it's mainly because of pandemic forcing people to use internet more often they might come across or gets exposed to crypto. I would say that seeing the price trend for these last few years there's just no stopping for the whole crypto market to keep on rising and rising slowly. If the rumour going around about government creating their own stablecoin turns out to be true then be ready for the price rollercoaster.

yes you're right, the crypto market during this year was very good. maybe compared to previous years, the crypto market in 2020 has a very good performance. despite the pandemic, crypto proves that the industry is not having a bad impact. Compared to forex or stocks or even other investments, crypto is good enough to even compete with gold.

Regardless of pandemic, I think crypto are going to perform better this year. Bitcoin just had their halving, which base on historical past is the catalyst for an eventual bull run and that is what we are seeing right now.

No doubt about that. This year started with a BANG with DeFi projects blasting off the market upward. More events contributed like ETH 2.0, Paypal, Halving, and so much more. Well, Crypto was really performed very good this year. Starting from Covid-19 when some people was panicking to invest on "Minimize Risk" Asset when Fiat Inflation was Rising (I read it back then) looks like people realized that crypto was an answer for this, Beside that Big Company liek Paypal was impelementing Bitcoin and even not really significant for now but US Election was impacting current Crypto Market when Biden Cabinet have some Tech Savvy and Crypto-Friendly People and the last one was DeFi which is another one good news today, I just hope this situation will continue till end of the year.

Yeah kind of, we got adoption from Paypal recently and I think that at least becomes like a signal or even a beacon for non-crypto holders to at least check Bitcoin out.  Price of Bitcoin kinda went really bullish and I am having flashback on what happened back in 2017. Surely our aim now should be pushing through 20k.

I can feel that the market rise is truly driven by adoption and not hype anymore, from JP Morgan to Roubini changing their tone over Bitcoin we can already assume that it is a mature investment because people are buying it and believing its the best performing asset. 2020 is so amazing, it makes people realize that being in FOMO is not the thing we need to deal with. It reminds also how important to control our emotions. Everyone is expecting ATH and yes, it was given for their favor, from the deep of almost $4k to $19,994, It all done and I can't expect either to see it back before we end this year juts like what 2017 had shown to us.

But, it was very unfortunate that only Bitcoin did the surge, most altcoins still on the deep which is very different if we compared to the last Bullrun where the entire crypto market run in fire.

This year's ending was just bright as sun haha, imagine that 2020 was the worst year for the humanity but it all ended green when talking about Crypto, it was a good season and i'm sure that this christmas was one of the greatest. yes, crypto is doing well. especially on the price of bitcoin and some of the top altcoins. besides that, the covid-19 pandemic also made most private companies, communities etc. adopt and take part in crypto. Crypto is a profitable investment alternative.

Obviously it was the best performing market perhaps if compared with other markets like stock, forex and commodities.
