Hey guys,

As it seems altcoins are on track (a little) again and we can't forget the richness (even if it was small) those airdrops have provided, let's discuss the biggest airdrop you've received (not the biggest on-paper till now). Also, list the token price on airdrop and today's date - it will help us evaluate whether airdropping token was a good idea from projects' health perspective.

I already forgot those  airdrops were i made  big rewards.  But i still remember the amount i get from all the aidrops i joined before  and its around 3000$ all in all.

That's the reason why it's decrease that low from 3.5$ price you sold it.

2017 is the great of airdrop I almost forget the name of the airdrop I join before but more of them give me a really good rewards . I also see some of my friends get a good rewards from one airdrop happen this month if I i remember it right it's Marco and he recieve around 3000$ also in just one airdrop . The only issue is that airdrop ask for kyc for claimers of that airdrop.

Not all the bounty hunters are airdrop participants.Till now I had not participated in single airdrop and it doesn't mean of airdrop are fae,it's purely based on the individual interest.Some token will became a useless after the token sale over.

I did not earned huge amount like that from airdrop and good thing you earned big from that project. What I received from this project is NFT airdrop which I do not know yet if I can sell this to earn. It is difficult these days to find good airdrop to joined.

1. ONT and it's the same as you but i have sold them all at $2 each
2. UNI and i have received 3200 UNI from my ethereum addresses that i have used these addresses to trade on the uniswap before 1 september. I have sold them all $6 each and got around $19k USD

Both were the best airdrop in my life.

Mine was years ago when the airdrop is on its peak and as far as I remember I got .1BTC that time for many airdrop but I don't have any one time big time airdrop since I'm not that active on these bounty. Unfortunately, I was not able to qualify on UNI airdrop which I think was the biggest free money base on my experience here in the market and I hope that many will still come like this.  :D

I receive a best airdrop so far in the year of 2017 I earn 0.01btc on that time and not only me even if low of rank account can earn big rewards, Actually airdrop of that year was trusted and can trade it early and have also a high value. But now I leaving airdrop it was waste of time for me and its gonna be only going garbage in my wallet or become also a shitcoins. But not all airdrop are like that they are few of them also worth to hold but to hard to find them because of to many scam bounties everywhere.

Never participated in Airdrops mate but i have joined a Bounty campaign in the past in which Made me earn about 3,850$ for a 2 months work.

Thats the biggest because the next bounties turn scams or the coins are BS in value.

I also heard that UNI airdrop in a Group but i just ignored not until the participants got their rewards and Holyshit that is huge and frustrating.

Altcoins on track thanks to Bitcoin as usual. If this is 2017 repeat, then it means we will see Bitcoin continue to go strong, and then fall back, before finally going on a super push. This should happen in 6 months if 2017 patterns are observed,,, and that means altcoins should rally even bigger.

But not sure if this is repeat or new kind of bullrun. I think new kind is more likely.

The biggest airdrop I have received was Stellar + Keybase airdrop in 2019. I've got 2 batches airdropped, ~50 USD + ~30 USD. And I would continue receiving this 30-50 USD monthly, if not they decided to stop airdrop, due to wave of greedy participants, who created hundreds of fake accounts.

I received some Byteballs when they were still big (or gigabytes, not even sure what they have rebranded to as now). I actually didn't have much Bitcoin at all, but during the airdrop some other guys were testing the wallet and app and I jumped on and just got loads of it tipped (so not really airdropped).

1 GB used to be $1000;) Silly me for hodling.

biggest airdrop? I never followed Aidrop, I only followed Bounty and now I follow Stobox,
if indeed I get paid maybe Stobox is the biggest bounty or airdrop that I follow.

I was a VERY big participant in airdrops for a while. In one year (2018) I participated in more than 2000 of them. And the winrate has been very bad. I did it knowingly and therefore I was not frustrated (moreover I believe that these practices introduced me to a lot of things from a technical/handling point of view).

A few airdrops brought me a few hundred euros each during this period.

Ironically, the best I have received is Uni and it came much later, although this time I did not seek to receive anything ...

No, I only mean many of you that recieve the free tokens from airdrop sold their tokens . So it have big affect in the market if many participants sold their tokens . Thats the reason why this locking period came up to control the decline in the price of various crypto currency.

I don't have any experience of earning money in airdrop and actually, I've tried some airdrop before but I gain nothing that's why I barely participate. I will only join if it's legit and that I can earn money. But, I never forget that my friends earn a huge amount of money from airdrop and it came from Uniswap. And right now, I'm currently using the Uniswap cause who knows if they will still have another round of airdrop.

Couple of years back when it was in quite demand had participated in some of them but in the end the results were not at all fruitful and understood that it is not really making any difference as such other than just too much worry as in the end do not get anything and realized that just wasted lot of time on it. From that point decided unless something which is big, or worthy may think to go for airdrop else will stay away from it and happy with my decision.

Yes, congratulations. I also had a magic time with Energi's airdrop (NRG). In 2018 I was very focused on doing airdrop or bounty campaigns, most of them were scams and I also thought Energi was also a scam project. Then I did not sell, but put nearly 2000 NRG together with other tokens in ERC-20 and I seemed to forget about NRG. But after a year everything exploded, the price of NRG went up to almost 9 $, but I sold it all at 3 $ :)
Anyway, it's a lot of money for me to pay for living expenses. One lesson is not to sell airdrop tokens too early while the team is still actively developing haha.

Myself have received in big volumes, but those weren't worth it. I don't participate on airdrops, and most of the time my involvement were into bounties. The biggest reward got out of the bounty participation is valued around $600. I enrolled into the project, because that was endorsed by McAfee. Now only understand he is a paid promotion.

As far as i remember there are several airdrops which i did really make out some money but one did i really remember giving me out $1000
with just those shit tokens.

I sold when it hit the peak price of $1.6 each which i did received those free tokens and did luckily able to sell it out while its still hyping.

Honestly I have been doing airdrops for a while, and even bounties and I can say that it doesn't really worth it as an income at all, you are not going to make enough money from this to make it your job, it is almost always something horrible.

I don't know why and I don't know how but almost all coins that does airdrop nowadays ends up being very bad, either a scam, or a fail, or even cancelled and the few good ones that make you money are very very rare and usually do not make you enough money to say that it is worth it. So, I would say it is highly unlikely that you should chase airdrops as your crypto entry point. I would say investing into things that you think will go up is the right way to profit a lot, just this year etheruem made 4x profit for example.

My one airdrop token worth $2500 is now $250. This is the only thing I suggest people follow.

I rarely follow airdrops. however, if I think about it, I participated in the XLM airdrop program in 2013/2014. I forgot the year, but it was a pretty big airdrop for me. Well, as far as I can remember, it was a paid airdrop which prompted me to learn more about crypto.

Same here, First and the biggest airdrop I received is from Stellar (XLM) I accumulated almost 6500 XLM last 2014 IIRC, price of XLM went up to $0.8 last January 2018 but I only sold a few like only 500 since I already sold the rest before bull run..2nd is the latest UNI airdrop from Uniswap worth $1k+ at the time I exchanged unfortunately I sold it too early  the price of UNI went up to $8.40 the day after I sold lol. 

Biggest airdrop if you can call it that would be Bitcoin Cash for myself. And I actually got lucky and sold at a very good price because I was extremely lazy at first to claim the coins. I had all my coins in cold storage and didn't want to go thru hassle of having to make a new wallet, send BTC over to that wallet and then download software to claim the BCH coins.

However around the time when Coinbase listed BCH, I decided to finally not be lazy and sell some BCH and I think I sold it near the BCH ATH with respect to USD and not BTC. So this was my most profitable air drops. Also had Bitcoin SV however sold that too early when CZ said he would delist BSV.

I don't really remember how much because i am not lucky ever since,i have joined multiple airdrops and bounties in the past but mostly brings me BS.

No wonder why many of airdroppers are claiming to be scammed and victims.

Yeah many airdrops becomes the bridge of people to learn about this market and this forum,some of the people i met here claims to earn and learn from airdrops though i am still not as lucky as them.

Well, I have received Dfinity airdrop. They cancelled public sale because of oversubscribing their private sale and decided to airdrop tokens worth up to 500 CHF (115 ICP) to public sale whitelist members. It is yet to be listed on exchanges but it's current valuation is $9.5B - can rank within CMC top 5 straight. Let's see what happens next!

actually it is not airdrop instead Bounty,and i earn about $1,800 3 years ago when the bounty and airdrops are still paying good and less scams.

Now i don't think that there are still good paying projects and airdrop,but still there are many who is willing to risk even they do know the situation and hard to find the legit one.

Seems like most of the answer happens in 2017,obvious that in that year many are reliable and paying.

As i remember it was early 2018, I received the biggest airdrop reward worth 700$. The coin was Reblious((rebl)), sadly i didn’t have any NID that time. So the exchange didn’t deliver me. It was bit-z exchange.

Congrats that you come to earn and not being scammed in your airdrop adventure because most of the people i know is angry about their experiences in airdrops .
You earn huge but you forgot the company?sounds weird because usually we are tend not to forget every thing that brings us Free income.

I think mine was something like bitgold or something for that matter, there was only 25 thousand available in the market so the marketcap wasn't that big but each of them had a high price. One token of that worth like 70 dollars or so, which made the marketcap not so big but when I recieved 10 tokens because of my help that worth like 700 dollars at the time.

This was loooong time ago though, not recently, I don't know if we can call it airdrop neither it was more like a bounty where they needed help with reddit and I set them up with a subreddit of their own and gave the ownership to them, which was the reason why they paid me so much. I still think building a subreddit doesn't worth 700 dollars but they did that anyway because it was free for them and didn't cost them anything, and I sold it right away.

I certainly agree with you. I joined lots of airdrops before but I didn't receive valuable payments. Most of it isn't worthy to sell because of its value. I think I wasn't just lucky with the airdrops that I joined but lucky are those who earned well from it. I just hope that more legit airdrops would exist again because airdrops nowadays are mostly scams.

Wow :D you made a huge profit from ONT and UNI. Sadly I've missed both of them. ONT was an old project. It was expected from ONT but I never thought a 2020 project like UNI would give that huge earning to the airdrop claimers. That's really a huge amount and would be biggest airdrop for 2020.

I've earned some coins and airdrops back in 2017 but when every ICO started scamming. I lost my faith and stopped participating in bounties and airdrops. I wish I didn't lost hope and participated in UNI airdrop. I would not have been regretting now.

So far I haven't received a better payoff airdrop. Just a bunch of useless tokens I have been receiving from airdrops.
It will be difficult for us to see what happened in 2017 about airdrop to happen again. Presently now, airdrops are worthless. You'll be promised a $15 worth of airdrop, at the end will be receiving a $0.04 token. It's so annoying

I think i never really got a big airdrop, that's why i don't remember i get any thing that worth money

Anyhow airdrop is good at some point is because airdrop allows the distribution to be fair and you wouldn't have a mega whale with 10-20% supply which he can dump

$50K is very difficult and almost impossible in airdrop, you are very lucky. My biggest airdrop was Stellar, I joined from the start and got 6000STR (now XLM), hold for a while and sold at $0.5/XLM. $3000 is a lot of money and I don't think I have a chance with airdrops now.

The biggest Airdrop that I have received so far was Equal though I don't know how much it is now but as when the airdrop was distributed it was a lot of cash

You should keep yourself from enrolling into airdrop that's coming from less popular project.
The succesfull airdrop usually comes up with many hype and that way you can sell the airdrop token at high price because of the hype. However, it's true that 98% of airdrop are just worthless token so it's normal if you never encounter any valuable ones.

this year really be best moment for uniswap, alot of traders use this exchanges since Defi be new trend in market.  airdrop hunter that activate many accounts will receive many UNI in their wallet. personally i get 3 account that used for trading and unfortunately it loss in trading but recovered from this airdrop. its really be my luck to get it.

My biggest airdrop i revieved is three altcoin.
1. Stellar ( XLM ) the airdrop is 500 stellar for every registered email in 2014
2. Ripple ( XRP ) i got from my bitcoin wallet snapshot. I forgot how many.
3. Bitcoincash ( BCH )

And the moat regret is i dont get any uniswap 😭

I had $ 500 worth of airdrops in 2017 and it was only once, after that until 2020 I never got big results from the airdrop. because there are so many scam airdrops and it's very detrimental. so we must be careful in choosing airdrops
