Title: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin now? Take profit or greed?
Post by: Bitcoin Miners on November 20, 2020, 02:59:59 AM
What do you think about the price of Bitcoin now? Take profit or continue to greed? I understand how you feel about Bitcoin's price crash in the past. And many people are thinking about taking their profit when Bitcoin go back its old top around 20k USD. If you look at the chart of Bitcoin recent days, you can see Bitcoin continuously  sold down at the price 18.2k USD, it shows that many people had already taken their profit but it was immediately bought around the price 17.5k USD and be supported very well at here
https://i.imgur.com/qqeUqqs.jpg
Let's think about what happened next when they had already taken profit? the break of its old top and keep going up? In my opinion, I see the price movement of Bitcoin this time compared to 2017, there is a difference significant when we see the monthly chart of Bitcoin.

1. The first period is from Jan-2017 to Jan-2018
https://i.imgur.com/mWTXntO.jpg
-->There are almost no adjustments, and the price went straight from 1200$ to 20.000$

2. The second period is from Jun-2019 to Nov-2020
https://i.imgur.com/56j4oQK.jpg
--> The price moves in its correct trajectory (maybe Elliott's wave) with some significant corrections.

Beside that, I want to show an interesting information about the difference between BTC flowing into and out of all exchanges.
https://i.imgur.com/tIIyrAN.jpg
(Source: https://cryptoquant.com/overview/full/474?window=day)
We can see the red candles represents for a drop in Bitcoin deposits on exchanges and that could be a sign that there is little taking profit here on exchanges (there may be trading on OTC exchanges)

Finally, this is just another view of the market from me. And with long-term investors, you also shouldn't have too much headache about profit taking or not  ::)

Yeap it's pretty much whatever. I'm totally aware that bitcoin can crash back down from here and I'm completely fine with that as I look at it's potential long-term valuation. I personally just continue stacking regardless of price and I personally think people(especially the non-traders) should be doing the same.

I've been following some trading experts from tradingview and their opinions have been conflicting. Some believe it's a gathering time for the ultimate bull run while some have an opinion that the buys and sells are balancing out so we would have a decline.
For me, I sold 100% of my bitcoin holding at an average of 17K and bought back some btc from 25% of that at 18K. Sounds stupid but I don't want to miss out incase of a bull run and would dump if I feel it's crashing.

I am looking forward some people will start taking profits or sell their bitcoins bought last all time high to breakeven price, it will start $19,000 - $20,000.
But this time is different compare previous all-time-high, fomo before is really huge compare this time which it's still neutral since $10,000 level.

I am a non-trader too, for now. As a personal strategy, I set a line where I am going to sell my bitcoin, I do not mind the FOMO higher price than what I have sold it because I have needs for the money that will benefit me in the long run. I sort of think of it as diversifying my investments.

I'm not suggesting that all of them are bad, but I don't think it's a good idea to listen to "trading experts".

But yea, selling is not totally bad. If you're here to make money, then profit is profit.

There's nothing wrong with selling if you actually need to use the money. I'd actually argue that selling right now might be a great idea if you're going to use the money for personal reasons and for starting a business(regardless if you fail, the knowledge and experience is priceless). On the other hand, selling right now just so you could buy yourself unnecessary stuff is a big big NO.

I understand your decision because there are lots of people are doing like you when they see the price movement of Bitcoin recent days. Maybe this is a Fomo psychology but you and also those people have the facility to do so. With long-term investors, buy at the higher price when the market begin to develope is not stupid especially with Bitcoin

That's the decision that we need to decide for ourselves. We have different views on how we look at the situation. You will be more confused if you are seeing different scenarios in your chart readings especially on the overbought and oversold level.

For convenience, just do the usual thing we always consider to follow during the time when bitcoin is on uptrend or downtrend. Buying and selling will depend on your purpose or just trust the result of your fearless forecast and analysis.

Analyse about the need, and if you're in need take the profit away. I state this on my personal experience, last time (2017-2018) when the market was around $18000 I just kept hold targetting $20k. To my expectation the price reached it, and later the immediate drop happened reaching around $18000. Mind wavered and I kept hold for $20000. It didn't happened and missed is missed, the price started to drop. So, it is good to make use of the right time than going emptied.

Yea. It is good to rely on a trading experts of effective platforms. Different traders have different kind of understanding and interpretation about the bitcoin situation right now. Some might tell you to sell because the price is good while other might tell you to hold on because as the history bitcoin almost reach a bigger price last time. Bitcoin bull run todays isn't that special because for me it doesn't surpass the last time price but I definitely think that it will in the next few days. Besides in any person if they gain profit even if it is small amount, it is still profit.

It is actually a good thought about the idea of selling right now. It is always depends on you on how you can reach your own maximum point that you can hold till you sell your stocks. It might be good or bad in terms of profit but you will definitely earn right now.

if you are a day trader then these days are excellent days to trade which means selling on each peak and buying back in each correction up to at least 3 times every day. but most people aren't day traders due to the risk or crappyness of the exchanges!
but as an investor, now is the worst time you can sell because the rally is just getting started and we have not yet even reached the previous ATH for the initial panic sell to start and create any kind of opportunity to take profit and buy back more bitcoins with that profit.

comparing this current trend with 2017 bubble is wrong though because there is nothing similar between the two time-frames. if you are going to compare you have to compare it with the end of 2016 when price was inching closer to the ATH of that time meaning when price was between $850 and $1200.

I second this. Christmas is around the corner and no doubt that a lot of people would be needing money for their wants and needs this coming season so it's actually a good price to sell some of your Bitcoin (at least not all of you Bitcoin though), unless you bought at a peak.

This doesn't sound serious to me.Do you think that many crypto traders are going to sell their BTC just because they want to buy some shit for Christmass.Dude, people have credit cards for that. ;D
Anyways, there has to be a price correction coming.I don't know when it will happen, but I'm sure it will happen.Maybe, the bull market will continue after that correction or maybe the FUD propaganda machine will be activated in January and a bearish market will follow. In both cases,I will just HODL.

I hope you don't be greedy and take a profit if you think that you can make a profit. If you are still holding bitcoin, maybe that will be a good decision, but don't forget that the price will fluctuate and you need to calm down. We already see $18,400, so maybe you can sell bitcoin when the price can increase to $19k because the $600 gap of the price will give you the profit, so you can wait for a while to buy back Bitcoin at a lower price. But that will be up to you.

it is the story of every year. we keep seeing certain types of speculation pop up talking about "people are going to sell because blank" at certain times such as Christmas, Chinese new year, black Friday, end of tax payment dates,... and of course some people do sell bitcoin at those times but mainly in expectation of sell off and only have a small effect on the price because people don't sell their investment when they need liquidity. they use their salary, bonus checks, credit cards,... to do it.

It depends on your goal? Like what @mk4 said, it's a kind of whatever moment for everyone tbh. With how things are going though, the price going down seems the most unlikely move so I think it can be safe to say that holding or selling right now wouldn't change much since the difference would be negligible in the short term. Ofc, day traders could take advantage of this though and profit off by 5-10% per trade depending on the market.

Though tbh, it's more likely that keeping hodl would result in a better profit return. We're basically just at the end of 2021, and the current trend has only happened for a few weeks only. It's not like the trend was brought about weakly like 2017, it actually has a foundation right now which makes rushing to sell have no sense. It'd be a lot better to greed, at least until the end of this year imo.

In my opinion for the moment it is better to sell it for a while, because in Bitcoin trading there are times when the price will fall back and don't even think about taking big profits without seeing the risks that will occur later, because a Trader must really make very good decisions in the case of buying and selling, if it is not done immediately it will result in losses for your investment in the future. All your definite decisions will determine it, not the others.

I would call $18,200 as the resistance level now, and maybe $17,600 as support if the bulls can maintain it. There is a chance that Bitcoin might crash anytime soon because of the parabolic growth in the past days. I would take profit if I did invest in BTC (I’m holding more on ETH right now) rather than being greedy because I don’t wanna repeat my past mistake back then of being too much greedy,

The season we are now, is to take profit from bitcoin investment because the market is good for anyone to release their coins to market for profit making.
Since the price of bitcoin is still improving in the area of exchange market, that is causing other cryptocurrencies to fall in price which is causing their investors to lose profit day by day in the market. Since the supply is now in the market, show that demand will be much in the market that will make many investors to make a good profit from the market. Since bitcoin is still increasing in the market show that we are in the season of profit making.

Never taken profit, always using and selling most of what I get, and storing aside as much as possible (not much) for rainy days.

so what does that make me, greedy?;)

Can't we have a third option of people who're neither greedy nor speculating, just believing in the long term promise of Bitcoin?  ::)

Does everything have to be serious when it comes to selling Bitcoin? No right? It's up to people to decide whether they would do it or not. Christmas is just one of the reason I thought because some people are actually selling some Bitcoins for profit (because why not?) to have a good Christmas this year. Not Everyone use credit card to buy some things for Christmas.

selling now is like selling at the bottom

Pretty much. After confirming a strong bull trend with the break of 14k BTC is drawn to the previous ATH, just like it was in 2017 when it approached 1.1k USD (2013 ATH).
Do you remember what happened then? When we broke 1.1k for the second time, we immediately went to 1.3k. So we had an instant 18% jump in price. Today, if the market acted the same way, we'd go to around 24k and this is what you should expect. Even if you're a trader, selling now would be going against the trend.

take a little profit or accumulate depending on the initial strategy that has been made. If you want to continue to hold bitcoins and reach a predetermined target price, buying them again won't be a problem. But if you want to benefit directly from the rising price of bitcoin, selling half of its assets is the right choice.

myself sell a few percent of the assets I own to maintain profits, then if a correction occurs I wait at a lower price to buy it back.

if you bought at around 15k it is safe to sell your bitcoin now since you already made a profit. We already have seen this last 2017, after the pump there comes the dump but this might be different this time. You could wait, if btc break through the resistance you can still hold it, but if it starts crashing you could sell at 17k and you still have a profit of 2k.

I must admit that greed (might be just common sense in the end) is slowly kicking in since we quietly reached these prices without any kind of fomo and hype. Two years ago plan was to sell half when it reaches price close or similar to previous all time high, but that plan is changed now.

I do plan to take some out very soon, but only fraction of the amount I thought I would. Black Friday is coming up so might treat my family with something nice and Christmas is not far away so I have to think about that too. You gotta indulge yourself every once in a while, otherwise what's the point.

I saw in another forum tha few people have already started selling their Bitcoin at 17k. I assume they were those who were stuck at that level from 2017.
People selling at 17k doesn't necessarily mean that they once bought at similar levels (unless they explicitly said that ofc) so they are finally getting out. It might just mean that some people are scaling out, as experienced investors/traders tend to do that. They don't wait for price to reach the top in order to sell it all at once but they rather sell it bit by bit as price is increasing, therefore taking the profit. When you think about it, it does make sense.

I have set a certain value of Bitcoin when I would sell my holdings. As for me, setting limits would be a good idea so we'll not be greedy. We all know that Bitcoin could reach higher but it could also crash down anytime and that's its characteristic. However, I will definitely grab the chance to take profit than to regret it.

Bitcoin price condition is still very good because the price continues to rise.  I think it's better to hold bitcoin until the price reaches $ 20k so that 2018 losses can be covered.  On the other hand, I also doubt if the bitcoin price has reached $ 20k because at that price there will be many investors who want to sell their bitcoins so that the bitcoin price drops dramatically.

With BTC reaching new highs by the hour I'd be tempted to hold for a little longer before seeing a definite dip.

I think the momentum is strong and I do not see any resistance, so it it quite likely that BTC will reach 20K by the end of the year.

Do bare in mind that I'm also an optimist at heart, but still, ultimately, you need to make your own decisions.

I think it good that the market is now heading towards the direction of clinching new ATH price which will be a good season for some investors that bought during the last ATH price and still keeping their coins.

Take profit or continue to greed?
Theres no greediness in making the decision of keep holding onto a good cryptocurrency especially when it Bitcoin.

This should only bother the short term investors as Bitcoin may crash when the least expect it and moreover long term investors wouldn't be bothered about market crash, as far as I am concerned if I had to choose between profit cashout or continue for more greed I would set reminder to sell off if the value drops for more than $500 from current price as a safety measure to avoid losing much and at the same time if it increases that's lmore profit for me.

That's how things should be done as an investor. Honestly I am having quite of doubts with this market, hesitating to invest more and to just hold, or to sell in order to secure the profit. The momentum is also what I am holding into this situation. I'd say once the market price stabilises at a particular market price point, I'd probably sell half of my holdings. Not because I am not trusting this market or Bitcoin perhaps, but I am just aware that things could happen unexpectedly without prior notice. I won't be too optimistic with this market 'coz the market is not working in such way.

Depends from person to person. If you have a goal set and it reaches, then sell. If it hasn't and you are scared that it will crash anytime soon, then remember, you have been already holding for long enough and you can still wait few more years. If you are still scared and if you sell now you won't be making any loss, then go ahead. Sell it. Why live everyday with the fear of losing everything. But, don't forget about the opportunity cost. You might later regret when you see the price rising.
Best thing to do is claim some of your profit, while holding the rest.

Im also that too optimistic towards the price but i do always have the doubt since i had learned back in the past where it is the reason why ive been caught
and make up some panic sell.Well mistakes do happen but im trying to avoid the possible next one and i agree into your sentiment that i havent seen
any strong resistances with the current price or into its run but doesnt mean that there would be no barriers in 20k price point.
I should say that this on spot price will be a sweet spot to take profit for those who do active trade and able to bought on yesterdays price
are definitely making some bucks now.

The price of Bitcoin may rally to break its all time high.  So holding a bit more is reasonable. I do not think that it is greed to trust and hold BTC for a while longer especially if one has a target price to sell. Same goes if one has already hit the selling price he wanted, he should sell his BTC according to his plan.

Yeah the market looks different compared to fomo in 2017. Some articles that I read before called this market as a well-educated market. It means more institutions, companies, or big figures jumps into this market. That’s why we saw correction, correction, and correction. Slowly and steady growth. However, there is still a lot of people who still hodl their bitcoin that they bought at ATH. So we can expect there will be a profit taking after we reach ATH again.

maybe you can sell bitcoin when the price can increase to $19k because the $600 gap of the price will give you the profit,

I agree and second this statement you said here, Mr. ethereumhunter. If I will be also sell what I have, I will make sure first that the price will reach and/or surpass $19k so I will be having more profit. And yes, I am planning to sell because I will be needing some money for personal reasons. I will be taking profit and will watch the trend.

Selling would might have different reasons for each trader some would be on personal purposes or some had already reached out there threshold to do so.

It isnt bad idea to make some selling at the moment specially if you have bought earlier then its just ideal to sell for making profit but if you are really that

a die hard believe towards bitcoins potential then you wouldnt sell no matter what but to presume out that these prices do come ones in a blue moon then
selling off will be also a best choice. If you dont need to make profit and still hold then its up to you.

Most of us here do hodl or trade bitcoin for a profit, and now is a good time to sell bitcoin to get profit but if it is bad if you sell it if you are into more profit in this upcoming days. I'm sure that you gained profit since you bought that bitcoin you hodl. If the money you can get from selling bitcoin is worth selling today, Why not? We have personal reasons behind it and I'm sure no matter what the price of bitcoin is, You will sell it because the personal reason you are having is more important.

18680 dollar price of bitcoin seems a sign of a real bull run season. Those who failed to join the train, I think it is more risky to follow nowadays but it could be more profitable once btc surpass its past price. But I think the best thing we can do is to sell some of our bitcoins now or we will regret again once the sellers will dominate the market.

Everyone can speculate, but no one can give you the confirmation to hold until specific time period so that you'll profit big. This is the reality of the market. Upon this it is stated as a risky market, so it is good to go with one's own decision. Whether it is good or bad your money and you take the profit, loss and the learning about the market.

For me it's greed all the way. I've been greedy, although a little worried when we were at 6000. I did not want us to go back to retesting the bear market lows as this is a bit depressing even if you are not all in.

Since 10 thousand I'm in full greed mode and not planning to take any profit before a new high. Maybe I'll sell 10% of my coins at 25000 or something just to have some fun and some money in case of a new bear market.

I'll continue to hold the rest until I can really spend it without converting to fiat.

The current price gives a good profit for those who have bought bitcoin way back when the price is very low. Any trader has its own set goal to what price they can take profit. Some just sell parts of their total asset and buy back when there is a decline will occur. I’m into long term hold and will sell when the price hit my target goal.

Yep, I think maybe this thing will happen sooner. Almost there is no resistance on the way back to the old peak, and if you want to take profit, why don't wait to 20k USD and we can get 2k USD more for 1 BTC. And after that, Bitcoin may be adjusted back to 0.618 level of Fibonacci ratio, around 14k USD. This is just my personal analysis  ;)

With the current price of bitcoin right now, for sure people want to take profit and it's inevitable for people grab the chance before it go down. For me profit is profit, just the way it is and if it go down a little bit then it is another opportunities to take advantage with. We cannot tell people what to do, so it's their decisions to hold or take profit instead and whatever it may its still a win win scenario because is mooning and that's the best news we ever have right now.

This is what is interesting about investing in Bitcoin, the price is volatile and unpredictable. If you look at the current Bitcoin movement,
it is very different from what happened in 2017. The increase now is not due to FOMO in my opinion, but there are indeed many rich people
who want to invest in Bitcoin for the long term. So better hold on for now, If my prediction is correct, Bitcoin price should still go up to $ 20,000
this year.

I personally think there is a lot more upside to gain before we start to peak. Most testing points have been broke through relatively easily so far so IMO I don't see any reason why it can't go further to test ATH. I think if it goes to 25k+ then I might liquidate some BTC into stablecoin for the time being until a pullback occurs. Other than that I am wanting to hold onto my sweet sweet BTC. :)

I needed some money so even before this bull came, I am already selling a small percentage of my holdings.

The market is not well but pandemic happened and in the past couple of weeks, my parents' house was hit by multiple and consecutive typhoons which are really traumatic for them as they are old. I need to send them some money and my salary is not enough so I sell some while still saving from the mBtcs I am getting every week. I am not choosing either of the two because I needed it.

I must say, this has been wonderful timing for you then, considering you were needing to sell off some BTC regardless and it is soaring in price atm :) well done!

As for your parents, I am sorry to hear that this has happened to them, hope you can get everything sorted and that they were not hurt mentally or physically from the typhoons.

As for the mBTCs you are getting every week, do you mean from bounties etc on this? or faucets etc?

The price seems good to take 15-20% of holdings and have some cash as a reward for holding through. Yet, I am not doing it because I lost a portion of my already fractional BTC to stupidity. So, no selling for me. I am not even excited about the bull run as such. When it comes to bitcoin, all we have to do is hold.

You can never be sure about Alts but I have bought some of the old ones that I have seen revive a few times. I bought like 0.005BTC worth of ENJ and BAT. I'll take the deal if that BTC becomes worth 0.0075 or so. I have heard of people trading alts to stack BTC and am trying that for myself. I suck at making a profit though and think that BTC will keep going up.

I think the market is basically controlled by the marketers, so, if they are taking profits at that level then there is a possibility of the price crashing to a lesser value within  a short time frame and also considering the fact that the US elections are still to be clear on the outcome of the winner, I see an impact on the price of Bitcoin as a result of this in a short while.

You could be very right here. It will all boil down to whenever the mast majority see the price as very enticing and want to cash in on that price. I do however think that this wont happen until we at least get past ATH as people will be using that as a checkpoint in their heads imo. As for the election, I think this has already made most of the impact on the market already. I do think that this potential vaccine for the virus could impact the market aswell if that gets the green light to go ahead, what you think?

As long as we can profit, we don't have to be greedy because of chasing the bigger profit because that will not always come to us. We need to be smart to see the situations and use it for our own good. Although the bitcoin price will increase in the future, we need to take as much profit as possible, so we can increase the amount of bitcoin and make a profit while we can.

If we are greedy, we will miss the chance to make a profit, and we will not be able to get it for some time. I am sure that there will be a massive pump that will happen during this time to push the bitcoin price to jump to the high price in a short time.

Profit is the basic mindset of btc holders as they are eyeing for much higher price. To hold is not greediness because it is the way of wise holders and the normal strategy.

Risk taker? Go greed and hodl as long as possible.
Taking a safe move? Go hodl half of it and the rest of it be greedy to expect 100000 usd or even more in the near future.
You cannot sell it all at once as you will only regret it later when the price skyrocketing and you cannot buy much, a lot of people doing this and that was big mistake.

the amount of time taken for btc to go from 15+k usd to this current price is indeed impressive but the overall performance of btc isnt . it wont also be impressive because we already know that it can possibly happen as btc has this history before . being greedy can depend . not all that who hodl btc are greedy because the reason why they still hodl thier btc is because they are not in profit yet or they are still in losses but to those that are already in profit they are the real greedy  .

Bottomline is no one is certain of how will the price behave as days are passing by. The market value is quite stable at the present market price point and many investors are being hesitant to keep on holding because there is always a tendency for a market price dump. As an investor, you should know what's best with your investment. Selling at this point will give profit for sure but ofcourse if the market price will be higher eventually, profit will be as well, higher. So it is a matter of a gamble with your investment.

You shouldn't really be so worried about the price unless you interested in looking to sell and hopefully, it drops down and you can buy back even more. "take profit or greed"? That is not fair, just because you don't sell doesn't make you greedy. Maybe they believe in bitcoin and do not care about the price because you are a long term investor? This obsession with the price is annoying. If you a believer then spend a little bit of bitcoin when you think the price is high enough.

I agree. It is not time to sell your Bitcoin. Some think that Bitcoin will reach a higher peak. Now that more businesses and personalities are joining Bitcoin, we must be attentive to everything that happens around it. If all goes well, Bitcoin would mark a great future. There are still things to happen. This is simply the beginning of a new stage.

It really depends on your priorities in life and how you strategize to earn more from this market. We should consider that every one here has different upbringing and background, and so yes, we only need respect to have harmonious relationship with others. And in terms of investments, it is your own self that is responsible with your own money. Because no one else will have the compassion to make sure that you are in the right track but yourself.

With a lot of positive news related to Bitcoin this year, it's really best not to sell bitcoins right now. I believe the price of Bitcoin
can still be higher, even though we need money, don't sell all the Bitcoin we have. At least sell some of the Bitcoin we have,
because if we sell all the Bitcoin we have it is feared that the Bitcoin price will fly high.

See I tried to comprehend that bitcoin price is not constant and is not what someone can depend on because of it's regulations in price, what i will like to render as encouragement is that whoever that want to make excessive benefit due to the increments in bitcoin currently should wait until it get $20,000 which bitcoin price is approaching to get their, but for those who are inquisitive can move forward to sell in order to make profit.

Why would I choose to do one when I can do both? I would like to get profit from it but at the same time, I want to continue holding my bitcoin and crypto currencies. It is not that I am greedy but I needed the money for my family, for my future family and to also help the people that needed them. Money is one of the problems my family has as I grow up that is the reason why when I will be starting my own, I don't want to have a problem with money.

It really depends on your priorities in life and how you strategize to earn more from this market. ...

Right now what we should be prioritizing is taking advantage of the great movement of the price. Trade with another altcoin that has a high chance of giving good profits and maybe sell some if you wanted to. In my case, I am holding most of them. I think we can reach a new ATH this year since the price is still sitting at $18K.

As long as you believe to your prediction of how much is the highest possible price of the bitcoin. I think it will continue to rising the value because there is a lot of people now are buying the bitcoin that will result for increasing the price .

But once it reached the 20k dollars again I will sell the others and take the profit to be sure incase if bitcoin dump again I have already profit I need assurance this year that I get a huge profit from the bitcoin.

With the price now is down, we need to stay calm and don't panic because it is not over, and the price will be increased again. People already sold their bitcoin at the current price while they are also waiting for the next correction, which could happen now. But behind this correction, the price will get another chance to increase back, and I think that could break $19k and to increase more.

The current Bitcoin price is actually quite high. If you really want to sell, I think you can get a big profit. However, if you really want to hold until the end of this year, that is fine, because it is likely that the price will still go up again.
With that said, I'm hoping that that would come true. Bitcoin's price looks promising and I'm positive that it will still increase before this year ends. I won't sell my bitcoin yet. We'll see what would happen next.

If the price goes up, that's favorable. But if not, it's also fine. This is investing after all. There's always risks involved. But of course, let's do hope for the best. ;D

I am looking forward some people will start taking profits or sell their bitcoins bought last all time high to breakeven price, it will start $19,000 - $20,000.
But this time is different compare previous all-time-high, fomo before is really huge compare this time which it's still neutral since $10,000 level.

Are you sure that those who bought last time or during end of 2017 are still holding their bitcoin until now? I doubt it, because that time people doesn't have enough knowledge in bitcoin and some of them think that after a crashed bitcoin will not recover again. I think they already sell those coins even at lose value and then when they saw that bitcoin market starting to climb back, they buy again because they believe that it will rise more than last ATH happened at the end of 2017.

Your right, we'll waited from around 2018 till 2020 for a good way to take profit from our various investment but here it come; but there are series of confusion among members, on when to take their profit. As for me, am good for a profit at this time when Bitcoin almost hit the $18.9k+ becasue some of my holdings were back in 2019 when Bitcoin was low in it price, compare to now which is impressive. There are people who don't want to take profit now but wait for Bitcoin to hit $20k+ before they do, this can be risky becasue the price of Bitcoin can rollback again.

Greed isn't wrong at all as long as we calculate the risk, $18,9k is safe for sure but it's too early in my perspective, if bitcoin predicted to fall after hit $20k, why not sell at $19,8k+? Bitcoin may encounter resistance level at $19,5k-$19,8k but if it manages to surpass $20k by the end of this month or in early next month, bitcoin should be able to reach up to $30k by the end of the year, so for me it is an obvious choice, keep holding until the end of December.

You're not saying this from a short-term holder perspective, greed isn't good on every sense becasue Bitcoin price is unpredictable and shouldn't be follow base on what expert said, they're not good too in Bitcoin predictions history are there for us to see. In 2017 they said these same words that made some holders almost commit suicides becasue they where greedy to have follow predictions from so called experts.

Personally, i don't want to see another 2017 again becasue it was horrible indeed; just for the purpose of greediness. How are you sure about Bitcoin price making it to $19k or $20k soon?, some will say, when the correction happen then the price will shoot, but what are the TA for this to actually happen?, all i can see among people who don't experienced the 2017 drama is; they're speculators and the bad side of Bitcoin might fall on them due to their greedy human nature.

There were speculations about Bitcoin correction from $18.9k to $16k, but few moment ago we saw some corrections but never meet their speculations because Bitcoin is unique in nature. I sold at $18.7k and just bought back something pretty good at $17.6k few minutes ago. Greediness is in my past and not present.

I am sure that there will be a massive pump that will happen during this time to push the bitcoin price to jump to the high price in a short time.

I believe this thing will happen soon because if compare with 2017, when Bicoin reach 20k USD, everyone all talk about Bitcoin, search about Bitcoin and be very interested in it. If we look at the amount of people who search Bitcoin according the data of Google Trends, you can see that the amount of those people now are lower than 2017 so much. That thing prove that small investors doesn't still really come back yet. And maybe we can see the really massive pump to entire these people back into the market, and after that , one correction will happen.

It is depend on your goals, take profit if the price reached your plan but if not then continue to hold your bitcoin. It is all about discipline and having a good plan, right now I can say that it is greed if you still hold your bitcoins but do not consider greed as bad thing because there is a misconception about greed where people think that it is bad. In this market it is not bad and it is pretty normal because investors and traders are always controlling by thwo dominant emotion which is greed and fear. If you are not greedy in this type of market then do not expect to make money. The movement of bitcoin is becoming better and for me we can see the price above $20,000 in mid of December.

Depending on goals, it also depends on the decision of the person because if they choose to hold and take greed, there are affiliate risks that you should consider. But if you want to make a profit, I think this is the right time to make a decision since the price of bitcoin as of now is already high, it depends on your decision after all, as long as you know what you are doing and you are making a profit. We cannot predict the movement of the market since then, it is because the value of every token is changing constantly.

We have our resolution now, book the profit along with the market and then wait for the market to settle down, it is really promising to see that the price of bitcoin tried to touch the all time high valuation but it did not hold that much and hence we have a huge correction now as the market fell over 11% in the past few hours and lets see where it will settle and take this as an opportunity for anyone who missed the boat and be positive.

Now it is already obvious that those who sold at least part of their bitcoins yesterday at about $ 19,000, already have a decent profit today.  But bitcoin may continue to fall in price further.  Many people really thought that Bitcoin would first reach its previous price record of $ 20,000, and only then it would go to correct its price.  So I think: how will the price of bitcoin grow to the predicted one hundred thousand dollars and even three hundred thousand dollars next year, if in this case it has to go to correction many times along the way.  For this, probably several years will not be enough.

A bad day when Bitcoin dropped so fast $3,000 evaporates, in my opinion, cut loss at this stage and buy it and altcoins at a low price and wait for a return. unpredictable if we hold the loss will be high.

If there's no actions that take place net week then it surely a big loss for those who are still holding their assets, you better assess how things

may go with this current situation, cut your loss and buy it back when uptrend show up once more. It's  a test for each traders on how to manage

their investment with the movements like this.
