I'm looking at the same app here

And seems like Offered By changed from Uniswap as mentioned in your post to Google Commerce Ltd. That's actually fucked up that they're claiming to be a part of Goggle and it's on Google's play-store. How did Google not block something this obvious lol I love apple for so many reasons.

It is truly troubling that such scams appear on official app markets. I thought Google had some kind of verification in place before approving the applications.

It turns out that there are already very large numbers of victims. I'm sure not only Alex Saunders lost a lot of $ 20,000 but others like this about the same problem, it's a shame that many applications are already on the official market.

If this link is accessed from a browser it cannot be accessed, maybe many have reported it

We have to be more vigilant about the DEX application. I am sure using the name Uniswap as an action to deceive victims.

Seems the app already vanished? (The link is not working now). The scammers already earned a lot of dollars by this shit. I don't know why people don't care about their hard earned money. The user who lost the 20k dollars, I think he worked hard to earn atleast 1-6 months or even several years. But if the user again waste his time for only two minutes to investigate the app is fake or real then he would not lose the amount.  :'( If we think scam will stop their scamming automatically, then it will be a huge mistake. we have to protect us from them because they will never stop.

This is just appalling and disgusting at all angles. To think that these scammers managed to get pass through the security of Google and they even made tons of fake reviews in order to convince more and more people that such application is genuine. I just hope that the security of Google must be improved as scammers are evolving nowadays, discovering new ways on how to achieve their vile goal.

Thank you for posting and notifying other users, Ratimov.

Based on users report playstore authority have removed the app from their platform.

In this type of case people try to take their decision just by checking positive reviews and scammer take this advantage. They put their self made reviews to make user fool and specifically their target is new crypto users. If people don't feel it necessary to research properly from their end then no one can save them from getting scammed.

If anyone think scammers will stop their activities automatically then he is living in mars not in earth. They born to steal peoples money and until their death they will continue it because for them its the easiest way of getting easy money.
