No. You can see from your merit list something like "merit received from ____ for (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored)"

By stop thinking or talking about it and contribute something to forum discussions. Don't copy-paste and don't rehash answers that were already given.

.....
Ok.. Thank you :)
I forgot to mention these two good ways to get merits
- Sign a message from your non-custodial wallet https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5275043.0
- Send an encrypted message https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5289839.0

You should be able to learn something from those two topics.
Do them correctly and you will most likely get some.

Of course you can. I am unpleasantly surprised that you somehow managed to miss "delete" option in the top right corner of your posts, especially considering the fact that you are member since 2017. Some boards won't let you delete post for 24 hours, so maybe that's what confused you.

Think again. Look at any post you wrote and you will find the Delete button. Rikafip gave you a good hint.  ;)

Nope. Merits earned from posted topics or response will not degrade your merits earned. So don't worry it will stay with your record.

Im sure what he meant mate is his own created topic post. If that's what his talking about then his definitely right. Response topic can be deleted but own can't unless you change the content to something like Mod please delete and request to delete it. Or there is a board that allows us to delete our own post?

Own topic can't be deleted except for mods whom can delete it if the content is off topic or spam post.

<...>But there is 'delete' button on my topic/post...
You can’t delete your own OP for a topic that has received additional posts. If you’ve just created the topic, I believe you can still delete it, providing nobody has read nor posted on it yet.

Post can be deleted immediately on some boards, but require a 24 hour wait on other boards. That is due to this:
I think how I'd prefer to handle it is to prevent deleting posts within 24 hours of posting them, in the problematic sections only. Which sections are problematic?
Going over the thread where the above quote was drawn from, I believe amongst those are Altcoin Ann, Altcoin Tokens, Altcoin Marketplace, Goods, Services.

I’ve looked around for a post that covers with certainty the subset of inherent rules that apply to users when they try to delete a post/thread, but haven’t managed to find a complete one so far.

Ok I understood, thank you so much for clarification on this confusion 💙
