I need some advice. Should I give him a red tag? Or I’ll just report his copied comment to the mods?

Report to mods. Giving him a red tag doesn't really do anything and is not what the trust system is supposed to be used for.

If you report he will have the same fate as his Alt account.

You should first archive the post so it cannot be altered.

He will be banned for plagiarism.

Copy past is subject to forum moderation. Trust system shouldn't use for plagiarism since the forum admin/moderators strictly handling it. You need just report plagiarism as suggested by @FIFA worldcup and hope plagiariser will be ban. Admin discouraging to leave negative feedback for such issues.

I have seen people do this for other forums, but this is crazy.

I believe that reporting is the best way to deal with these offenders. There is no need to use the trust system as long as there are moderators in this forum. In addition, you should report him in topics (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0) that already exist for situations like this as the FIFA worldcup has already mentioned.

Already done reporting this copycat! Guys like him deserves a permaban because he already committed a couple of offenses as @YOSHIE stated. 

This.  It's plagiarism, and he's a stunningly silly idiot for doing it at all, and doubly so because he did it in the same thread only a few posts after yours. 

That member registered in 2018 and doesn't look like he has too many posts, so it's likely somebody's alt account.  That doesn't explain why he did what he did, but if he gets banned maybe someone can sniff out any alts he might have.

That guy definitely deserves a permaban, especially if shit like this is an apparent pattern for him.  Good riddance, I say.

Don't abuse the trust system it was meant for scammers and not a plagiarist, report to mods and allow them to decide his/her fate or still report on the thread mentioned above there was no need creating this topic

Reporting a plagiarized post is a permanent solution for plagiarizers here in the forum since if the plagiarism is proven then they would receive a perma-ban from the mods so I think this is a much more ideal solution. Giving him a red tag won't do anything on stopping him if he is just there to troll you. Aside from reporting it to the mods there is also a thread here in the meta section where you can post the plagiarism that had happened to your post.
