Hey, i think another round of newbies getting entangled and trap in the current bull run is about to happen. we watch bitcoin move very fast from 15,000k to 17,000k within days . Not just the normal gradually process but as fast as we never espect.it looks exactly the same way it happened in 2017. many got trapped and they regrets the move. the ground is set and i am certain it will happen again.
Everything Mooning like someone is sitting somewhere pushing the gas. experience traders are riding the bull and making money, influencers are pushing those that care to listen while the Newbies are screening. GO BITCOIN, GO BITCOIN.
Just be careful and Never forget to use the stop lost(its like a seatbelt) because we will definitely meet the bears on our way up some day. But that day is not soon so lets enjoy the bull together.

What drives the bull market in 2017 is different from what's driving the present bullrun market, there is better adoption for future sake here unlike the 2017 that's based on whales getting their hands on what they can, the present adoption is better and stronger, crypto and bitcoin have been recognized as real assets that's worth holding on to.

Are you saying its too late to start buying bitcoin? I think you are wrong because the bullish trend is just getting started, what makes people lose money in last bullrun is because of greediness, the market never crashed instantly like those pump and dump projects, it goes down bit by bit and greed people still failed to pull out what they can

Until it's not overbought it's going to keep shooting up. But how to learn that it's overbought is just watching the chart. I would probably be watching the charts closely.

Make sure to hold a stablecoin when that happens because its not a good feeling to hope for another pump that isn't happening. Its frustrating when you are left holding coins that prices are gradually dropping.

The amount people are buying is more than they are selling for some days now. Though the price looks a bit sideways, it's actually increasing everyday and hitting new high everyday. I believe the whales are preparing for a grand push which would be followed by an equally rapid crash. If you want to be safe, you can turn your coins to USD but if you plan to move along, be sure to have a stop loss.

Yes, thank you for the advice.  Personally, I think we shouldn't be playing at this point.  Since Bitcoin is already close to ATH and this stage has always had major corrections, it wouldn't be safe.  We should wait for another opportunity to invest in Bitcoin or top alts.  We should instead speculate on Defi projects with good fomo community, investments that can x4 x5 are normal.

FYI, Stop loss and nobody need to set stop loss when holding BTC. Maybe take profit is more appropriate since we are on uptrend. Why setting up a stop loss if you can guarantee profit. Just set a price goal that you will cash out and do it gradually, For example 10% cash out every 100$ price change +/- so that you can secure profit whenever a sudden dump happened and you still hold some coin if the price continue to rise.

The best way to handle this hype train is to don't be greedy. Always take profit some portion of your portfolio if you already gain a significant percentage.

I think it is better to enjoy this ride, this is the first major move by Bitcoin this year, that got people talking, the most important think for people to realize is that they need to pay themselves, if you are looking to catch the top then good luck to you.

I have no idea about it but i am enjoying these days and i hope that it will continue for many months, major opinion in the market is that it will continue for the full 2021 as parabolic market is expected in coming months.

I don't know about that... It does not feel like 2017, I think this time the fundamental aspects are more powerful. I mean investment funds and companies like Grayscale are accumulating big positions. PayPal is showing a friendly attitude towards cryptocurrencies by announcing wallet support and facilitating payments. Moreover, we had the halving in May. Now we see the consequences.

To respond your question. We can't possibly know when the bull run will stop, but once we overpass the ATH, Bitcoin enters price discovery mode. ;)

The momentum, the demand and the volume in the market is real and something that was waited for months and months. I think that this bull run is poised to be massive and perhaps the biggest ever bull run. Personally im expecting the crypto market to grow over 3 trillion dollars market cap at the height or peak of the bull run.

Why do you want it to stop now, the market is ripe and bullish after 2-3 years of downtrend followed by heavy accumulation, regulation and now it seems that the market sentiment has changed to positive which means that the bull trend has started and  i expect it to continue to we see new peaks next year.

my prediction the bull run stopped when bitcoin broke the highest price. In 2017 the top price of bitcoin reached over 20k, and right now bitcoin is just waiting to get past it. so if you just bought, you should be vigilant, because the bullrun has almost reached the top. and I see that the Fomo effect has decreased now, people have started to stop buying bitcoins. so be careful if you guys want to buy from now on.

I haven't seen March 2020 the bitcoin bull market trend started, in March to September bitcoin has not entered the bull market trend, at the end of October to this day bitcoin has started to enter the bull market, and I'm sure the price will continue to rise until the end of 2021.

because most of cryptocommunity member the end of 2017 btc's run became as slower as we closer to last ath. but i believe we will hit it and there will be new ath and possibly btc will be closer to 25K$. now growth goin not so fast as in 2017. because of that i think recovery(if it will be) will not be so destroing and so long.

I've heard that there will be fork for ripple this coming December 12 which makes people accumulate more of it. Honestly, I have no idea that there will be a big hype in price when I bought ripple a few weeks ago. Luckily I have already doubled my fund. I think, the bull run will continue until the end of December or hopefully untill next year. But like what happened during 2017 bull run, there is always a price correction that happens.

Many people do not follow the rule of "buy the dips", they always FOMO in when prices start going up, hoping the uptrend continues like that. However, there must be ups and downs in chart, there is no precise pattern. I remember when BTC went as low as 3k+ due to Corona virus, many people kept panic selling and postulating it will touch 1k. Only very wise investors took the chance of buying at those low prices, now that BTC is trying to reach a new ATH, so many people are buying. Nobody knows the top, this is the bitter truth in crypto. If holding BTC long term as investment, there is no need to worry. But if trading it for profit, like OP mentioned "stop loss is like your seatbelt"

No one knows dude, just as long as there is a manipulators controlling the price value of Bitcoin I am pretty sure

To be honest, the market  will experience a lot of bear trend before it markets new ATH price which we are yet to achieve which is the moment the current  bull run market may stop but with the strength posed by the crypto market during the total lockdown resulted in by pandemic, there's also possibility that the market bull run may not experience heavy dump in price when the bull run stop.

It is really difficult for us to make an exact statement when the bulls will stop. Because Bitcoin is so unpredictable. If you invest in it I think you need to be mentally prepared to make a judgment about its price increase. you shouldn't be too greedy. :D

Bullrun stop is likely to occur in 2023, when the Bitcoin price reaches a new all time high then the bullrun ends,

I don't think it's just getting started, it could sell off anytime soon as the Chinese New Year in the European countries is approaching. As in previous years, when there were occasions to welcome the new year or Christmas, the Crypto Market was immersed in a sea of blood. Who's buying? Just for fun mate, it's the demand which has increased again and it happens normally in the last quarter but this massive pump means a lot to me because the price of BTC to alts have increased gradually and more over many of them are holding their assets and waiting to see some big change in the market and yes I believe it has already happened.

If you are a holder, you need to prepare yourself to these 2 scenarios. If you want to assure that you will not be losing, sell some part while you are still in positive profits. And some of your portfolio, you will be taking risk and be ready whatever may happen to btc market. You can't always get what you want, at least optimize the opportunity on hand and not end up losing huge. As no one can predict the exact things that will happen in the market, you need to safeguard your portfolio. Speculations of the so-called experts are not reliable, just follow your instincts when it comes to executing your final decision.

From March until now Bitcoin went from $5000 to $18000. That is not a bull market for you? It tripled price in a bit more then a year. You are mentioning October and November. Let me check what gains Bitcoin made. It made 80% growth in two months. Quite similar.

I can't say for sure when the current bull run will stop, cause no one can predict what's going to happen next in the market, but from how I see it I don't think there's any chance of this current bull run stopping if bitcoin doesn't make another ATH, you have seen how it moved from $15 to $17k pretty fast and it's not slowing down one bit, everyone is buying and people who have it already are holding and refusing to sell, looks like there won't be any stopping till we see another ATH.

Maybe it is helpful to look back when the momentary ATH in BTC was created - we highly went up in the last couple months same in 2018 isn’t it? So maybe u can guess it goes similar... Of cause lots of things have been changed - The Virus a other halfing and so on... I guess BTC will go up even through this pandemic which made people thinking over there invests and there trust in money.

there are no reasons for the bull run to stop right now. more and more companies and funds get involved in crypto market. also cental banks of many countries are printing huge amounts of fiat money so people use bitcoin as a store of value.

yep, its still just a start from bitcoin movement  and in next year price will going crazy and hit new price that we never imagine before. cryptocurrency market now get new giant investors that coming from finance firm and now we see market capitalization growth alot and followed by cryptocurrency price.

If you are good in analyzing price action in the financial markets, then you'll know that until the market forms an now Higher High, and  breaks a previous Higher low on the daily or 4 hours time frame... There is still  a lot of room for the price to go higher.

Also, when the BTC price gets to the previous major resistance point where the price was unable to cross... How the price reacts to that resistance will determine if the price will dump back or continue growing.

Yes there was a pause during Christmas and New Year, the market might have gone down, we are now in a bull year and we might expect the same but we might not see the market going down too much as there are financial institutions ready to invest billions whenever the price goes down.
You cannot predict how the market will react every time but you will have a general understanding.

Bitcoin is nearly about to ATH. I think this was bull run and market is going to take correction . If correction is made then we expect another big move .otherwise it seems to be sideways.At this point we should be careful and not take big decision.

I think the bull run will not stop this time as the price is still trying to increase, although the price now is still below $18,500 and it is sideways on that current price.
But I believe that bitcoin will not be stopped after this because the next rallies will start, and it will reach the new highest price.

well in my own opinion, it is not suffice to conclude the market is in general bull run. yes bitcoin have made significant moveup and currently challenging the ATH but most alts are still way far from their all time high. in fact, we cant say alts have done any significant moveup yet. in my opinion, the bull run will continue until alts bull run comes and it's completed

Tht price of BTC/USD  reaching overbought is not a yardstick to determine whether the price will fall  completely rather two scenario is bound to happen the price might undergo a complete reversal while in some instances the price will retrace temporary before resuming the uptrend meanwhile in the case of the present overbought price of BTC its obvious the bull will be sustained while a pullback may be imminent  the positive fundamentals surrounding  BTC  market is the main catalyst responsible for the recent bullish runs and it is incomparable with that of 2017.

When the price is in overbought area, it doesn't mean that it will go to reversal easily. The price of the bitcoin is indicating strong bullish signal right now even though its RSI telling that its price is currently overbought. After the formation of today's candlestick, my expectation changed wherein I do not now expect retracement but I expect consolidation between $17,000 - $19,000, for me the price needs to move in that area for days or even week before it finally create a new higher high. The bull run is still in its early phase and probably I can say that the price is still cheap where the price can ever go expensive after the ATH breakout.

This question is just like asking when Bullrun? And I know that no one can tell you then until such time that it shows already. I'd rather have enjoyed the rising moment of crypto space than thinking when it dumps. And the fact that it can't be seen also in the crystal ball, no one can ever tell. Why are you worried about it because it is just getting started after btc and eth break previous highs only then real fomo will kickin, sellers will vanish from the market and we will be able to experience bull rockets i am especially excited because this will be happening after a long wait and a long bearish market.

Bitcoin price currently touches US $18,349 per coin and clearly this is the highest record price for bitcoin in the last three years since reaching US $20 thousand per coin in December 2017, the increase in bitcoin prices is indeed quite strange nowadays because usually if the price of bitcoin experiences a bull run, of course, it will be followed by an increase in other altcoin prices, but in fact it seems as if bitcoin just wants to run alone right now, maybe several factors such as the current weakening of the dollar and the result of the increasing number of people who started investing in bitcoin during this covid-19 pandemic.

This is what makes the picture difficult to understand or predicted since altcoins have not followed the bitcoin bull. 2017 was uniform and came down in same way but now the etheruem isn't running like bitcoin or any other doing a good follow u. However, maybe after this year we can have little bear.

I hope this bull run will continue till atleast bitcoin hits $250k and ethereum $10k atleast, we seen such gains in kany coins in the past so it is not impossible i know some people wills ay it is not possible but in 2015 when bitcoin was trading below 200 no one thought it was possible for btc to hit 20k in 2017.

I do not know how long this bull run will be but im here to support and hold my coins for longterm.
I know taking profits is good or ideally you can grow your portfolio by adjusting the coins nesr peaks and supports. But i will look to cashout partially only if i would be in need of money otherwise i will hold it all.

The current bull run is very good for Bitcoin (around $18k) because it is almost reach all time high ($20k)
On the other hand, Ethereum is still far from All time high because the current price is only around $600.
I don't know if the current market will stop to bullish anymore but as we can see, the price is still rising.

Do not put all your eggs in one basket and do not always think the price will continue to increase as it is in the current bull run. The way bitcoin can go 100% rise within a day so also the price can fall -100% in few hours. Take your profit and invest in some other promising coin. However, it seem the current bull run is being influenced by so many factors including the paypal ish and many other adoption by big companies and individual. So we might see a much longer bull runs

If that so, people who use Paypal will realize that they don't have to go to the exchange to buy bitcoin, and they will feel that buying crypto will easy than before. All Paypal members have verified members who will not have a problem buying and selling bitcoin at their account. But we all do not yet see the real bull run because what we see now is only a beginning before the real bull run comes. When the bull run comes, that can trigger many coins to increase, including bitcoin. Bitcoin will start the rally to the next ATH, which can be so high.

I think as soon as bitcoin will cost more than 20k there will be a lot of news about it and many people won't buy it at that price. I think that after 20k the price will fall but the price will not go below 11k. I think the price of bitcoin will fall when the correction starts in the stock market.

You didn't do proper research because Bitcoin price pump just started. Bitcoin's highest pump was 19.3k but now we're in the same situation without altcoins. When the Bitcoin pump takes the rest, altcoins takes the lead. I don't think Bitcoin could hit 11-12k again. This bull run will be long until next year finishes.

In my opinion it's a time for investors to accumulate due to large institutions that are investing heavily in the market. We can find reference on any Bitcoin news portal but in relation to the high there is no possibility to predict when it will stop or if the volume will increase. i guess that's no longer a question to ask  :D a look at the market right now will tell you all you need to know about the one sided btc bull run, honestly i wouldn't call it bull run because it didn't affect other alts like previous years, except the method of bull run has suddenly change to btc alone, many alts did not benefit from this run, just the top ones so i believe the bull run proper is yet to come.

well, the reality is like that. no one knows what the future holds, and we really don't know when the pump or dump stops. However, the thing I am sure of is, the pump will stop, and a dump will occur when there is very negative information about bitcoin, or cryptocurrency. because of that, we need to keep up with the latest news about cryptocurrency.

From my perspective, the current bull run will only stop if bitcoin's price suddenly goes downs badly again that altcoins will follow as well, just like what happened in the year 2018; that is why it is risky to buy more cryptocurrencies because the crypto market price is unpredictable. However, we should be selling our cryptocurrencies when it reaches its top price and tries to buy back when the price decreases to avoid having losses when the price suddenly falls.

While I agree that altcoins are overpriced I do not think they are going to remain still while bitcoin keeps growing, many people are going to keep investing in altcoins thinking they can get better profits than what bitcoin offers and in a way they are right, however they are not taking into account that the volatility in those coins is even higher than bitcoin and as such the possibility of losing more money is there as well, however once the bull market ends, whenever that is, I expect altcoins to crash incredibly hard to the point we will see a dominance of at least 70% for bitcoin.

There is some sense in your statement, 2017 bull run was mainly due to hype from various influencers and whales doing their thing. This year, so many adoptions and mainstream news. From Facebook's Libra to PayPal adding crypto just to mention a few. I believe there will be correction which is happening already since the festive season is already here, many people need cash to spend. I think for now the market uptrend is on halt, maybe after this festive season the uptrend might commence.

2017 was about ICOs but this year we've got the Defi, there's still sort of similarity but what's making the drive of the bull run this time is the demand and the actual investors. Bigger investors came in and they're not just investors but they're the institutions that have been caught interested to invest in bitcoin. The halving was another factor, the halving of bitcoin. Some big guys like the winklewoss twins are predicting 500k target for bitcoin, I am not sure it will be hit during this bull run especially as a peak price but whatever the sentiment is building it is clear that the bull run will be epic this time.

Their prediction is bias because they are one of the biggest holders of bitcoin in the market. I believe bitcoin will hit that price but not in 10 years, probably more years so more years of holding.

We don't know when the bull run end but as long as the demand increasing the more value increasing. But for newbie it's not late to ride this current event as long as you will take the risk. Day by day the price of BTC  increases and hitting a new high every day. It's really difficult to say when these unpredictable bulls will stop. Yeah, I wanted too the bitcoin or crypto bull run to stop already so that we can start another run for bitcoin and other crypto. However,  this is very difficult to predict and that only huge number of bitcoin holdera can change the course either they will going to hold it that far or will directly sell all their holdings and convert it to stable coins.

I think this bullrun will proceed for the following not many months if bitcoin can break opposition again cost in the market, as a trader it is positively more amusing to appreciate the current bullrun while proceeding to trade and hold a few crypto resources than simply anticipating the eventual fate of bitcoin and the market without taking any kind of action by any means.

I think I could agreed that what happened now at the present bull run was really the same thing happened during 2017 4 years ago.
And none of us don't have an idea about when this thing will stop. And I wish it won't stop so everybody happy. But even we faced bull
