A lot of people say praising the temporary hype and it can't last long. I don't know what to do. I am already reading several posts in blogs and mediums But I couldn't find anything about Defi's future.

That's right, the DeFi was only successful for a few months ...

People already woke up after losing a lot in ICOs.

I think you need something more secure than DeFi and ICOs.

Invest in other stronger crypto projects. It's the reality about defi's future that it is only a temporary hype for these types of projects. If you lurk in the news, you'll see defi projects that are starting to have an exit scam. And that's possible to happen in other defi projects that you have invested in yet you are not familiar with. Why not give your time and investment to bitcoin? you have the biggest advantage of investing in it. It's proven to last long and it's here to stay.

The problem with DeFi platform - can they really attract users of their platform? Will there be enough borrowers for the lenders to earn income? Not many people are comfortable dealing their financial transactions via DeFi platform. So I am not seeing that this will really take off for most DeFis. Maybe, few of them can have successful platform but most of them will go down very soon. About their future? Hard to speculate this early.

Defi is not yet mature and there are still so many scam defi around us. That's why so many people were feeling doubt about that although some defi can still be trusted it's not likely this trusted defi will change the future of defi. Defi is different from ICO. There bunch of ICOs that have become major coins while defi can't perform like that.
This time the only defi has bright future was compound and YFI.

Only few DeFi projects will really be able to make a impact in the market, they became popular only these year and only few projects really have their original idea or plans in their project, it's still early whether they can still be in the future development or adoption of crypto, those who already earn in crypto really did advantage their popularity at this stage.

With what I have experienced, it is like the funding of ICO, IEO,... this is a way that the market brings new trends. And I think next time will completely eliminate poor quality projects so that there are only projects that are really useful to us.

There are a lot of blogs and medium posts about DEFI, the problem is that the growth is not sustainable. The massive spike and investors money flowing in will sooner or later will met a big wall so that's why no one can really tell what is the future of it until we are in the doorsteps.

So the better question is how long will this bubble continue? It could be the biggest bust in altcoins history, greater that the ICO bubble of 2017 and for sure there are many investors specially noobs who just rush into it without doing any proper research and investigations.

The ultimate progression of crypto are defi. But it's not necessary that the current defi would lead that. The Defi are in their early stages of development and they need a lot more to be significant in comparison to centralized exchange. We as an fundamental investor could just wait a couple of years more before taking Defis seriously.

The defi projects actually look like will depend on their survival market most of the projects are now called defi many projects in crypto are running under defi names but how much will be pumped will depend on their groups if you try to pump too fast many times their value goes down a lot. Therefore we have to be patient the market survives for a long time and if each of these projects is good, then the cryptocurrency defi will have a good future its demand will increase and many organizations will support it.

Because the hype is over and a lot of people already took profit from it. Just research on a project that you are actually interested in. Don't rely too much on people's opinion or you will have a cloudy mind.

For me DeFi projects have lot of potential in the future.
But NOT ALL DeFi projects, I can say that there are much more scam or type DeFi projects than those purely hype and they will just scam your money.
That's why there are lot of people are getting rekt because they know once the project is DeFi, it is an easy money for them.

I think that defi altcoins next year will grow strongly one more time, all the money will be pumped out of them and everyone will forget about them, only altcoins with a working product will remain.

DeFi is going to be here for a while no matter what anybody says. It has no relation to the success of failures of respective products being scams or not. Every hype cycle in blockchain technology gives easy opportunity to scammy devs who can hide behind anonymous facades. Team this up with the inability of most people to actually read and decipher code to test for backdoors. Whenever you invest in such projects, know that it is always going to be a risk.

Hence, never put in more money than you can afford to lose. Make sure to break even and don't get greedy about collecting bags. Any project that makes you collect bags or lock liquidity without the option to redeem it, is generally a scam.

You're absolutely correct with what's possible future for the defi. And for their platforms service like lending and borrowing, depending on their data who are the people who actual use them. As long as there are investors who are willing to lend them money or put money on their platform, they'll keep on operation. But that doesn't mean that it will stay forever. There's still a lot of doubts that we can have for the defi platforms although we can agree that some of them are legit.

 It's because all the hype today will gonna be fade in the future.
 
 You can feel the defi hype is not that the talk of the town lately. I wonder why are you worrying that much and dont know what to do? If you know how to choose defi projects wisely, you can do better and make still some profits out of it.

If you want to know the future of DEFI then look at the new projects been launched, this will tell you where the future is going to be, most of the big DEFI projects started in the 2017/2018 bull and they bull through this period  as we enter a DEFI driven bull market. If you think people will tell you what the future is then good luck

The future of Defi is still very long, Defi will always be used in the future,
especially since Defi has been around since 2016, when Ethereum was launched, and many Defi programs were born,
and until now it is still used and Hype comes, if you talk about the future, of course the future of Defi is still very feasible to use,
but who is a part of Defi I think is still a mystery.

It may not be lasting forever but right now we are talking about some stuff that will become industry standard. For example, uniswap has became something major, and yes it may not have billions of dollars traded on it every single week, it will definitely change and become something smaller in the future, BUT it is not going to end neither, it became industry standard to exchange worthless or even maybe good quality tokens that are erc20 based very easily, right now metamask even has a swap option that takes data from places like uniswap and gives you a great offer if it can.

This is why I believe defi has a future, it is not as big as this but it has a future that will continue as long as crypto does, and I do not see it becoming like ICO or IEO world neither.

Yep it was all a hype, but after the hype and when everything have cooled off, the stronger DeFi projects will still continue, although their prices wouldn’t be as high as it was during the hype. If you check all of them you will see that most of them have dropped more than fifty percent.

It’s at this time that we are going to know the ones that are really serious, because there are going to be those of them that will die off due to the hype is over, those are the ones that were just used to grab some money from investors, now they will all disappear and the genuine ones will continue to stay.
