No, this is not true cause every crypto exchange have problem at some point.

What problem are relating to because Binance was the perfect example for all crypto exchange site.

I guess you are not aware that Kraken have been attack by hackers. But, I wonder the characteristics you used to judge or select the exchange sites cause if it is because of the SPDI bank required by Kraken then your decision wasnt right and the last time i checked Binance seems to be the most useful exchange site which was the reason why Binance gained more users than every others exchange.

I'm done with Poloniex. They are good when they started. All the hype is around them but they got cocky.
2 strikes of my funds being held and that is enough to put them in my trash list.
Some don't even go 2 strikes, I have given them 1 more chance.
Kraken? I have not used it yet.
Maybe until Binance gives me a headache then I will switch to another.
As of now, they are good at customer support, and even when I lost my 2FA code they are being helpful about it.

I chose to nominate Binance, because it is no longer denied that Binance is indeed the best exchange for 3 years,
compared to Kraken, Binance has the most volume, you have to realize that Binance is not a bad exchange.

Although Kraken and Poloniex used to be very influential exchanges in new projects and the Crypto community. But at the moment, due to apathy in feature development and little investment in marketing, only Binance, Huobi Global, and Coinbase are the top exchanges right now.
In my opinion, the collapse of Poloniex and Kraken also really doesn't have too much of an impact on the Crypto market. Since the volume and assets of Kraken and Poloniex's hot wallets are pretty low compared to top exchanges, I don't overestimate these exchanges. :-\

Im not really that fan of using Kraken this is why i do nominate Binance all the way. Poloniex sucks when they had been bought by circle.
Even though we do have our own preference on sites or exchangers that we've been using and if you do saw on where you do seem fit then
its your choice because we do have our own choices and preference but people would just normally stick out on where they do like the most.
This is why i do stick with Binance even though they had some small issues in the past..

The charm of Polo among crypto users seemed to fade away already. I was using this exchange before, even storing some of my btc but when they changed management, I feel I was not comfortable anymore. And now, I do prefer with Binance, you don't even have to undergo the KYC requirements if you are not really of big trader, which is really helpful to small traders like me. Their fees are also very competitive with very good liquidity. So don't know where the OP get the notion that if polo and kraken will go down, others will follow. Not gonna happen.

Binance is unquestionably number one but the conditions for distributing other nominates are still not clear for me. Maybe, OP should list which criteria were eligible on the exchange for choosing the best one. The opinion of the experienced traders clearly shows the winner but for the second or third places, the eligibility criterias are not fair, IMHO. The power of Bittrex has transferred to Binance after the market collapse 2 years ago and Bittrex was not even on the top 10 big crypto exchange list, IIRC.

You will feel okay until you trade large amount of bitcoin and getting a lot of annoying what so called 'errors' on their own end causing your withdrawal pending for days... Even blocked just like your story.  my personal annoying experience is that poloniex support having so slow time to respond all the time, i feel like an abandoned customer! And that is not good at all for the business.

I wont surprised if then poloniex will makes a claim that they are being hacked...  the whole funds stolen etc and go full for exit scam. I would rather say beware to poloniex,  bittrex is a bit better and binance are my first chochoice.

Poloniex use to be a good exchange but now?it is one of the worst,on the other hand binance is the one who's rising now.
having many good deeds recently i think they deserve respect and at least small trust and chance to prove their legitimacy and worthiness .

No doubt for Binance because I don't have any problem with that exchange. I don't have a problem too with Poloniex and Kraken, but I don't use that both exchanges to trade too often because I don't have many coins list on that both exchanges. But I disagree if Poloniex and Kraken go down, the other exchanges will follow to go down because every exchange will have the same problem, and once the price is down at one exchange, the other exchange will follow. But it doesn't mean Poloniex and Kraken are the sign to see what will happen to the crypto market. We have a different exchange that we used to trade, and I am sure that it will be related to the comfortable feeling to trade on that exchange.

So you are telling that if these two go down, all the market will suffer? Maybe yes but that would be for the meantime. Never used these two exchange yet actually ao I'm not sure how good these are. But I'm a full time Binance trader and user. So I know how devoted CZ in developing more services and feature binance can offer. What sucks are their down time but that can be fixed given that the traffic is huge. Let expect some not a 100% efficiency. But so far they have one of the best volume that those two you mentioned.

Polo was one of the most popular before but they didn't maintain that status after the bull run. You'll never change the mind and choice of other traders if it's Binance for them is the best.

Lol, how come crypto will suffer hard just because two exchanges polo and kraken goes down? This is not 2010, when Mt. Gox was hacked, there are a lot of exchanges around and polo and kraken volume is not that huge to affect cryptocurrency as a whole. So stop with this baseless accusations, there are DEX around if these CEX suffered from hacks or breach or unintended downtimes.

Anyone can use their own criteria but honestly there is no better exchange in my opinion than Binance because I have never encountered any problems and yeah I have used Kraken it is good no doubt but I prefer Binance user interface over any other. It is easy to navigate and using an exchange mostly requires you to have easy navigation so if my choice is asked, it is Binance without a doubt.

Poloniex used to be so good but I don't know why interest from users dropped so much towards them maybe because they listed some bad coins or what, I am not sure and other exchanges like cryptopia already have scammed/hacked so there are not many options left.

Perhaps you forgot or didn't know. But when you say "always working" it is worth remembering that Kraken had encountered serious problems in the past when their trade engine was completely unusable, no action could be done, and at times it was even impossible to log in. Knowing that these recurring problems lasted several months.

As for nominating Binance, I don't know if we can call it trusted when we know that there is wash trading on the platform and they hid it when they bought out Coinmarketcap and decided to rank platforms depending on web traffic and not volume ;) Or when the site was hacked.


Where have you seen Kraken has been hacked? Source or it didn't happen.

^ I don't know what comparison you used to get this nomination out. So far I feel Binance is the best-centralized exchange, I sent one of the tokens to my personal wallet several times but no withdrawal fee is charged. IMO, Binance is the best.

Yeah right but actually if any of these giant exchanges actually go down as hacked or scammed then it would create a deep impact on the market as the coins are then sold and these exchanges hold massive amounts of coins so it actually will impact the market. I know it is won't be like MtGox and whole market will not crash but still there be a significant enough damage done.

I have used Poloniex, Binance and Kraken all three and none of them is bad but because of the aura Binance has now it becomes the best choice for anyone. I was also reading around FTX as they offer some cool features but not sure how it works and still learning more about them everyday.

I´m a Crypto Lender and Binance give only 0.52% APY for Bitcoin so its not the best

Now maybe some People want to kill me but I say: Bitfinex is the best. Sure they had Problems in the Past..but I´m there since 2015 and never had Problems. And they are Owner of Tether so they should not have Money-Problems. Finally I get 5,5% APY for Bitcoin there, best Rate.

I used to trade on Poloniex way back in 2017 and it was undeniably good but as soon as I met Binance, it became my top and bias exchange among other exchanges.
Binance was known to be one of the best exchanges in this industry, upon my time using it I have never encountered any issue yet, the security was good, it has the highest volume and it got a good reputation.
Besides, it was very convenient and user-friendly unlike any other centralize exchange that is hard to navigate.

Kraken is the best one so far, it is old and never had any problem when dealing with this exchange so far.  There were problems in and out but they cleared it pretty well so good job with that.

They have a great support. I had a coin where I sent it to a wrong address and they were willing to move it manually for me, props to that. But, after they implement the KYC that makes me quit to trade on this exchange.

Haven't encountered this issue so far, although my ISP is shit and choose to block this site for no reason lol(thank god I know how to resolve this issue)

For my 5+ years journey in crypto I never used Kraken so I think its not as solid as OP said its his own personal views not even really popular, Poloniex was once one of the most high volume exchange before Binance in fact its my first exchange I used to exchange my first airdrop Stellar but now looks like volume easily plummeted as Binance introduced more volume, superb marketing and user-friendly GUI and OP said if Polo and Kraken go down all crypto will go down which I think this will never happen It cannot impact on market even 20%.

Please forgive my way of explanation, Kraken was not actually hacked and it was the only exchange that usually wants to help others crypto exchange that has hack issues but an attacker manages to steal fund from Kraken users through malicious email just what happened to Binance users through telegram last year if I could remember.

Not sure about Huobi but actually binance is good like others also mentioned and one name that might be worth putting here is Hitbtc because they are really good too and haven't had any problems so far but they are certainly not topping binance yet.

It changes from user to user and not everyone likes the same design and layout as others which is also the reason why all these exchanges are running because users are divided among these major exchanges based on their own preferences and choice.

That’s your choice, believing too much on exchanges are too risky as long as you don’t control your private keys and the market will not depend to any exchange. Well, I’m satisfied on Binance but I’m not that fanatic because I know I’m always on risk dealing with crypto exchanges so better to be careful than to be sorry later on.

Kraken is not bad I am not going to lie. They also got the confirmation to start their first ever crypto bank as well from the authorities so they are really going well right now. However there are a million topics about "which exchange is the best" in bitcointalk and recently for the past 2 years or so the answer has always been binance. They do not have any downtime as far as I am concerned and I have always reached to them without any problems.

So, we are talking about something that is unquestionable in many people's minds. However everyone has a right to decide which exchange they want to use, if you like kraken over others you use kraken, if I think binance I use binance, if someone else picks something else they can use that one.

From the little experience am having in trading I think I will nominate binance as one of the best exchange easy to use easy withdrawal and deposition!!!
Kucoin is not also a bad exchange and the exchange is also legit and safe!!! Must of the coins there are legit no scam projects.

Kraken is one of the best exchanges we know but the position you have placed it , I don’t really think that’s where it is supposed, although I know for sure that it is very good but not to the extent of being as high as the number one in the market.

As for Binance I don’t know what you mean by the down time issue that they should be working on. Binance is a very good cryptocurrency exchange and it’s being placed most of the times at the same position with Coinbase, although I think a lot of people don’t like Coinbase because of their too much regulation. Then as for Poloniex, I’m kind of surprised to see on the list.

Ok now that's just disrespectful for you to place Kraten ahead of binance, Kraten is doing quite well for themselves but not good enough to be ahead of binance in the industry. Infact the amount of work binance has put into the betterment of their platform with providing a stress free experience for their customers, this has to be their biggest strength. Every minute they're cooking up something to interest their audiences. They're the most busy of all the exchange and it's showing as the results of their hardwork is everywhere.

Poloniex lack of listening to their customers are what place them in the position they're in today. Their were one of the best when it's was their time but refuse to grow with the industry. Binance still has a better support system than they do and other exchanges too have very reliable support system.

We have exchanges like Okex, kucoin etc (just to mention a few) that are building up momentum in the industry and soon they're be among the tops. currently they're just average exchange but shouldn't be slept on.

There have a lot of Exchangers on online platforms and every exchanger have some problems.I am using bittrex and binance and coinbase for trading. I recommended to anyone who wants to trade or find the best Exchangers.Binance and bittrex have a huge volume of asset and supply on the other hand its most secured and safe Exchanger and never stole your private information other.

Don't put your money on a long term investment in an exchange, yeah that is the solution for you. As for trading purposes, I don't give any special attention to some exchanges especially binance that I use so far. Because I will withdraw my fund once a week and I will deposit again on monday to start trading. That's a caution about my funds, even though I get a lot of information that Binance will bear all the losses if hacking occurs and some facts that have happened but I prefer what I'm doing now.

I am done and comfortable to use Binance exchange for a long time with KYC verified account. Basically I don't go for new exchanges to trade or hold my money, I use Binance for that. Just look it's volume on specific token or coin then you will see the real game. I have no issues since three years+ in Binance for fake volume or other issues. User experience is good enough and the total interface and layout is also good and user friendly for newbies too. I will nominate Binance in the first place from my side. I know there can be more trusted exchanges which I have no experience. But this one is from myself.

Kraken is probably the worst among all the exchanges that you mentioned, did you even used these exchanges long enough to be able to give them a fair rating?

Kraken has a great history of creating its own wicks(up or down) to maybe liquidate some positions whenever they want to, and it's probably one of the shadiest exchanges that supports leveraged trading.

Best exchanges that support futures and leverage trading are Binance, Kucoin and maybe Okex and I would not trust any other exchange specially when it comes to leveraged trading knowing how easy it is to manipulate positions in a way that has the most profit for them.

Binance is much better for the best trusted exchange site. While there is a lot of information about other exchange sites being hacked or stolen, binance is the best in terms of exchange popularity and there is no such bad information. So far all of the exchanges are at the top much better for both long-term and short-term investments. Merchants can safely store their money. Many new business owners lose out without any knowledge but it is possible to reduce the losses in terms of using binancs.

Yes they are old but after they are implementing KYC method, I wouldn't even bother to trade on that exchange anymore because I adore the privacy more than the service itself. It was really pleasure trading at Poloniex, but unfortunately after KYC I did quit on that site.

Never had any problems on Binance besides of how the government trying to block Binance but it is easy to bypass that, regardless of that Binance I think is the best site to trade so far.

I'm using poloniex before when no kyc required that time, but after for the longest time of inactivity they suddenly requiring to provide users kyc. Unlike in binance you can use their exchange anytime without submitting your personal docs and you can also withdraw through p2p exchange into fiat without hassle. So binance is the exchange I always used with good feedback from the users.

Your choosen all exchange is 100% secure, safe and biggest. All are most preferred exchange. All exchange are more useable and user friendly.

Though you want nominate then i will suggest for Binance most. I use it most for my regular use.

It seems that you are overvaluing poloniex and kraken, but it is your right if you feel comfortable using both exchanges.
But I have a different opinion, I prefer Binance as the most trusted and best exchanges. Everything I need for trading is
readily available on Binance, so I won't be looking to other exchanges in the meantime.

since they have a lot of options for trading crypto with one of the best customer service.
I am using since 5 years, and it's always a very good option with reliable fees (both for trading and withdrawal)
