Title: mltibit wallets just disappeared Post by: gravitate on March 24, 2014, 08:21:33 PM OK so I had 4 wallets in my multi bit and 3 of them have just disappeared for no reason with 6 bitcoins in. What is happening? Have I lost the coins? I remember last time I started multi bit I closed it before it had set up I am using a mac.

When you opened the .dat files did the wallets not display on the left of the screen? Do you have any other wallets open at the same time? Pay attention to the receive address of the wallet you already have open, then open the .dat file to the closed wallet you wanted to use. Click on the request tab and check to see if the address has changed over to the newly opened .dat file. There is a bug where the wallets won't display in the left pane of the browser but you will still have full functionality of the wallet file. If this is the bug you're experiencing, it's an inconvenience and it looks scary, but you haven't lost anything and can still access your coins. |
