Title: It is fine to support Bitcoin Cash.
Post by: Keith Sweatz on November 25, 2020, 05:17:05 AM
We don't all like paying high fees. Paying $10 to send a transaction is extremely high especially to people in poor countries..

This forum is filled with a lot of toxic bitcoin maximalists. Bitcoin was created to be a peer to peer currency but we have this narrative pushed by people like michael saylor that its not meant to be a currency.

Remember newbies that Bitcoin Cash has MANY advantages over Bitcoin.

You are referring to ethereum transactions? Because I can still pay bitcoin transactions with under $1 fee.

I don't know who this Michael Saylor is and I probably won't care who he is but bitcoin is still a peer to peer the last time I checked. I can still send to anyone with any interference.

I have different view about BitcoinCash, I know this coin have forked many times now and there are few misunderstanding happening around BCH team resulting to fork but this project has a better potential than many altcoins, it was created to be a best fit for payment gateway and it works very well, faster speed and cheaper transaction fee just like XRP, there are few others too like XRP and LTC, if fee is too high for you then go with any of these projects, I am a BCH supporter

You make a good point but I think the problem is also from the naive crypto user who doesn't use transaction fee calculation the last time I check the highest Bitcoin fee to get confirmation within 20 minutes is $2.44 so did the $10 come into the subject?

Bitcoin cash has no advantage over Bitcoin and it just one of the shitcoin we have in the market. However, it not advisable to support it.

Bitcoin Cash is a viable option if you want to use a crypto currency to pay regularly online. The fees are definitely cheaper than for a Bitcoin transaction. But for investors Bitcoin Cash might not be the best option. I don't think that BTC Cash is not offering the same upside potential as the official Bitcoin offers. For investors BTC is much better.

Bitcoin has become a widely popular and accepted currency. If the seller is aware of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin would the very first currency he would like to go with. And, as a buyer, I am more than happy to pay someone with even $10 fees as long as he is gonna received my payment instantly. Besides, I never bear $10 as transaction fees on any blockchain. Try PayPal for accepting a foreign payment of $1000 and then compare with BTC.

I haven't used Bitcoin Cash before and I've heard before that I think it's not good as what we expect also some says that it's fast since only few users uses this coins but imagine a lot of user would use it. You will experience too what you are experiencing right now.

Many people don't like BCH because of its many forks but to me that's a lame reason to hate a crypto coin like BCH, how about checking out what this wonderful altcoins have in store for the world crypto world? BCH is a perfect coin for p2p decentralized payment system compared to those new useless fake decentralized projects today.

You know bitcoin and ethereum fees are now high. We don't want to pay such huge fees. We can avoid or stop ERC20 tokens transaction for now if not necessary. We can avoid huge transaction  fees if we use TRX, XLM. You can also Bitcoin Cash for transaction from Exchange to wallet or to others for save fees.

You are right only in that it was so initially but now people value bitcoin for something else.
I can't understand why you say that Bitcoin Cash better than Bitcoin.
My theory is that you bought shit Bitcoin Cash at a high price and now you're trying to sell it at the same price, to telling people that shit Bitcoin Cash is better. You won't raise the price...

I have not yet paid a $10 fee for any crypto transaction. A few days ago, the transaction fee of ethereum increased a lot, but not $10. At present, ethereum's transaction fee has become normal. You prefer Bitcoin Cash for crypto transactions. But did you know that the transaction fee of Bitcoin Cash is about $5. If you want to do crypto transaction with low fee then LTC, TRX is best.

You can set your fees before sending I don't think fee will be a big problem in BTC. Since you can see the fees you need to be paid before sending transactions.

And for bch if you are early supporters of that currency you are still at lost right now. So I cannot suggest to buy or use it as alternative to Bitcoin and in terms of use cases bch is too far from BTC.

No one wants to spend $10 for sending a transaction and if you are trying to tell that you need to spend $10 for a BTCitcoin transaction i have to tell you that you are wrong in your assessment, on an average the fees is always well below a dollar.

This forum is filled with a lot of toxic bitcoin maximalists. Bitcoin was created to be a peer to peer currency but we have this narrative pushed by people like michael saylor that its not meant to be a currency.
You are in a BTCitcoin forum and complaining that most are BTCitcoin maximalist and why is that a huge surprise. There is an altcoin section and there are thousands of coins having a platform even the shit coins are allowed to have a discussion and what is the real complaint.

The only issue you would encounter is when other members from other alt coins shilling their claim that they are the best coin and much better than BTCitcoin and if that happen you might hear some lecture countering your claims and after that if you claim that it was a big surprise that there are people defending BTCitcoin what should i tell  :P ;D.

Yes I'd definitely support BCH instead of many new projects today, here are few reasons why I will support BCH

1. BCH is a top altcoin, no new coins made it this far yet
2. BCH has real world use case, it was built from scratch as a payment gateway and it's been put to real use in asian world
3. Team are satisfying enough, pro and we'll experienced
4. Low max supply
5. Fast and cheap transactions

Many new projects today can't offer what BCH is capable of, that's the fact.

We cant really deny that Bcash had able to patch up on whats the flaw on what we do saw on Bitcoin but do you really try to force up people if they
do really just like to support bitcoin and not bcash? If you do have any idea on past deception issue about into its creator where trying to fool
noobs that the true Bitcoin is Bcash then you would really have that kind of sourly feeling against this project.Yes, it might be valuable but
i do believe that people who do engage with it doesnt really mind on its true essence but just good for money making purposes
not for its utility which is a shame.

This is the crypto space, hence you are entitled to your own opinion so is another, also you are entitled to whatever coin you want to support so is another, that also means, your reason for supporting a coin might not really make sense to someone, so is the person's reason for supporting whatever coin; this is what makes humans unique.
About Bitcoin cash, anyone can support it and anyone can go against it, but personally to me, no coin can be compared with Bitcoin, because till date, it remains the best in all ramifications. Also, Bitcoin transaction fee is friendly so far, so I don't understand where the aspect of $10 comes from, probably from Ethereum in months ago.
So in essence, support whichever coin you want, be it Bitcoin cash or Bitcoin, but in each case also have good reasons to support whichever coin, although this is mostly for altcoins.

OP it is fine to support absolutely anything. This is crypto okay? No one tells you what to do or who to support. I do not like BCH because if I want to have it I have to find people willing to accept it. BCH merchants? Where? Unless I use Bitpay.

$10 per transaction? Yes very high but do not transact in high mempool and or wait for Lightning:)

BCH? They keep splitting and forking and it is so confusing I have no confidence in the network what more the value.

The only advantage of BCH over bitcoin was on the scalability. I don't even see any platform that used BCH tokenization.

It's better for you to try to shill your BCH rather than take a debate with the bitcoin maximalist. There will be no end for that. it's not the first time I'm seeing a thread like this.

I have not actually used this Bitcoin Cash that you’re talking about, the only time I happened to get some Bitcoin Cash was after the fork and my wallet that I was using then happened to be one of those that accepted it first and immediately got my Bitcoin equivalent in bitcoin Cash, I exchanged it for Bitcoin.

So, I have not used it for transactions, but you lied there where you said that Bitcoin's transaction fees is $10, that’s not the fees, I paid around $2 the last transaction I did. Anyway, I have seen people complain about that especially now the price is going up, and Ethereum has been having the same problem.

You are right. There are lots of coins in the crypto market that anyone can use. The most important thing is which one you want to prioritize more. Since all coins have different advantages, it will definitely give you some advantages. All crypto users think about the issue of fees, especially those who trade more for trading have to reduce the amount of fees. So it all depends on who will use which coin.

Yea yea I get you, faster transaction speed, cheaper transaction fee, this is what Bitcoin don't have and BCH is created to be a crypto payment solution and it fulfill that goal already through third party payment platforms like Bitpay and Alchemy but BCH is different from Bitcoin, many will still choose bitcoin over BCH for different points but I'm guessing what will happen if BCH increase in value 🤔 will transaction fee remain the same?

yes, somehow I personally don't like fork coins either, I mean BCH coins. although it is generated from Bitcoin itself, I prefer the original BTC coin. I am completely clear about this and so are everyone here. But you see, no matter how far Bitcoin Cash's technology surpasses Bitcoin, its value cannot match Bitcoin's! Why?

This is the story of Bitcoin uniqueness, everyone is looking at it as one of the best digital assets of all time. In the midst of a serious epidemic and economic downturn in many countries, Bitcoin is the only source of hope, not Bitcoin Cash :)

This is why even though Bitcoin transaction fees are expensive, a lot of people buy and hold. Be aware of how the Crypto market works so that we do not make these false comparisons.

The cryptocurrency market is volatile, and prices change in just a few minutes. There are many things that can affect the cost.
Thus, it is very difficult to give an accurate forecast for Bitcoin Cash. Even the most optimistic forecasts for Bitcoin Cash may not come true.

Bitcoin is undoubtedly a genuine coin. Every coin or token has a minimum fee for the transaction and its amount figure depends on coinmarketcap value always, that means if you realized that the market value is going down then its fees will reduce automatically. I'm overall happy to be an investor of BTC.

I used it for small amount transactions in the past. It's cheap but it's not fast, same 10 minutes for block as in Bitcoin. Now TRX is my choice for small and medium transactions. It's much faster and in most cases you pay no fees at all.

Bitcoin cash is one of the best altcoin with bitcoin from the name itseld which is bitcoin we can say that many will going to like the altcoin besides its supply was also being copied with bitcoin having 21M coins supply same with bitcoin. However, after the the fork it divided the coin into two where BCH remain and its other half name as BSV. It was being discussed that BSV will going to have a good suppot from the community but it never did and somehow both cryptocurrency are not in good market right now.

Bitcoincash is best suited for making payments online that's why I believe that this project will be more useful than any other, many dislike this project for their own reasons and some even dislike it because of its too many forks, as for me I don't give a damn, BCH use case makes sense

there are many questions to Bitcoin Cash team so I would not invest big money in this asset. there were already 2 forks because of internal conflicts and who knows how many else we shall see in the future.

I don't see any advantage Bitcoin cash has over Bitcoin beyond low transaction fee. Many people might have forgotten that Bitcoin cash is a fork of Bitcoin and I doubt there's is anything important about it that makes it more advantageous than the real Bitcoin we all know now.
Although there's nothing wrong supporting it, but there's nothing that makes it advantageous beyond low transaction fee
