Are you looking for a top poker player? and have to play according to the rules that you apply, so my little question is, if you have found the krateria, will you give capital to work on your platform? or are they using their personal money?

This is just hourly pay for players using their own bankroll.

They are trying to increase their players through this type of paid play.

I think this is a good initiative from them and if they find consistent players that will stay with them, they are going to attract players within their tables.

It should be a continuous promo until they get stable and loyal players.

That's umlikely to happen I think. If they compensate the losing amount as well, there will be many people interesting in playing poker.
OP, can you please lower the minimum hour per week? If so, I can try with that. Playing 20 hours a week will make me total addictive in poker for sure and I don't want to be addicted  :D

I think they are looking after making their poker active. As they are pretty new, it's very unlikely that they will get active players all the times. If they get some registered member, they go away because of not getting players or boards. That's why OP want to ensure some active boards. I don't think it can be a scam attempt.

That sounds reasonable because nobody wants to play on a website where there's nobody playing. And while the payout might attract some people, it's true that it's not that significant if one considers that one has to play poker with one's own bankroll. Not to mention that playing poker for such a long time on weekly basis is likely to make it a habit, so even when a person quits the job, this person would have to deal with the consequences and fight addiction or at least put effort to form a different habit. But for people who are already playing poker for that long per week, it might not be a bad deal. But op, of course, would have to provide some proof that it's not a scam and people will get paid.

I would rather be skeptical than scammed. I am almost certain that there will be superusers just waiting to fish you. and 10$/hr  is nothing for a winning player at 0.5/1 stakes.  Even if he/she win half buy in/hr which is almost 50usd/hr, why the hell he or she want to play at this new site.
If they are providing anonymity then go for 7xl which is a skin of gg poker (host of wsop this year).
The only way forward for them is to conduct free rolls and let people used to their user interface. If all is good then it will automatically create liquidity for their empty cash tables.

This is exactly what the goal is. Trying to give maximum incentive to have regular cash games running at peak hours.

We can consider this... maybe tighten the hours to 9 PM-Midnight 5 nights per week = 15 hours... would that work maybe?

While it is very hard to prove a negative you can look at the software we use. It is Enterra/Evenbet software which is the same platform SwC and other large poker rooms run on. There is no possible way to have a superuser on this software, it was one of the conditions we ensured when signing our contract to use the software.

This offer is for players that play .50/1 games already. It is not targeted at a random non-poker player who will lose $200 per hour. If you already play these limits and lose, maybe you will break even, if you win, you win more, if you break even, now you win.

All this while earning VIP points, competing in the rake races, and other promotions in the poker room. This is the approach we used when building our PPPoker Club back in the day, and we left PPPoker due to cheating and collusion.

Really?  You think a loosing player at those stakes will break even just by  your 10usd/hr. 50/hr make sense. You said that you left ppp poker because of cheating and collusion that means you already failed to provide a safe and fair environment for serious players. May I ask how do you ensure it now ?

Haha, you got me... I should say a losing player will lose less. Of course, it depends on how much they are losing by. If someone hates poker and loses at it this isn't for them, if they want to play and want some extra cash it's a great deal.

What's the exact goal here? Can we know the details? Back in the day, I used to play a lot of poker, can't manage to play such huge hours per week. Also, is it possible that you will compensate certain % if the player lose? Because, this may turn into a significant loss if someone loses at a streak which is very possible in poker.

As stated before, the exact goal is to boost cash table traffic on ROunder Casino. If you don't play $100 Cash games this offer isn't for you. This is targeted at players already active at these stakes and already playing close to this many hours per week.

The offer may not be bad as OP tried to discuss the consequences of the offer but still, it didn't give any guarantee that the hired players will get paid which could also be considered a scam.

Considering that you will still get paid on an hourly basis whether you win or lose it is somehow like a rebate but for me, I still won't buy it because you will need to play poker for a required number of hours and I know that poker is an addictive game and be hooked that the next time with or without the $10 per hour compensation you will still go back to them because of the addiction in poker.

The requirements can be easily achieve even by a regular poker players but what I am wondering is the requirements that says 4 hours per night. Why not make it 4 hours per day instead knowing that there are many players who cannot continously play like they can do 2 hours straight then take a little break and proceed to another 2 hours or something like that.

Submitting each sesssion, how will the players do this? By the way do you own the platform? I am quite interested to it as I am a regular player poker and I play more than 4 hours a day so hitting 20 hours per week is not a problem with me and receiving the 10/hour is already a good bonus.

although it might happen(OP not paying) but unlikely to happen(but still not certain). OP is a representative of RounderCasino and if he did not pay the participants, the issue will reflect badly on their gambling site and will lose gamblers because of it. scamming $350(total payment for 35hours)  is not worth scamming considering they will be losing thousands of dollars if they did scam the participants.

I think the goal is to increase the number of gamblers playing poker on their poker game to attract more poker players(it dull playing poker with only 1 or 2 opponents.)

Correct, for players already playing full-time or even part-time 15-20 hours really is not much. The reason it has to be during specific hours is that 90% of our players are US timezones so that is when we want the traffic. We also have to ensure that the tables will run for the duration this offer is going.

We want traffic to be rock solid at the $100 buy-in games for a few weeks to help us build cash game traffic. There should not be anything confusing about our goals to people who know something about poker.

No, we are not paying people $10/hour to play poker anywhere on the internet, keep all their profit, and not have it benefit us in any way. We should have been more clear about this?

It’s sound really good and strategic. Poker is a well calculated game and needs some amount technical moves so playing two tables at once will be a little bit time consuming.
