Here we go again, many clone apps keep showing up on playstore, what the hell is google team doing about all this? Few cloned app like this have been reported already and they are not removed yet, this is bad news for those who don't know the difference, people should stop using google playstore to download cryto wallet already and start going through official websites

Playstore is not safe anymore, newbies must stop using the store to download applications, scammers are doing all they can to scam innocent people and google isn't doing anything about it, for your safety it's better to download popular wallets through their official sources

1. Trust wallet  https://trustwallet.com
2. Electrum       https://electrum.org
3. Coinomi        https://coinomi.com
4. Atomic          https://atomicwallet.io
5. Samourai      https://samouraiwallet.com

It seems Google has become helpless in tackling fake and scam apps on its play store. Lately, there have been a lot of fake apps that have been reported on this forum by fellow members.

It also seems that Google is not deleting these fake apps after being reported by us. It might be that we need more members to report them. I have done my part and request other members to report them.

If anyone is looking to download any wallet here then, go to the original website and directly download the app from there and not from the play store.

Very often find fake wallet applications like Samourai. Google filters about malicious apps or fake apps that can take private keys easily will be very dangerous. Sometimes it has positive reviews but all the accounts that provide reviews are bot accounts that are deliberately made to look genuine. To delete it we need a lot of reports so that they will be banned by Google Playstore. If left unchecked, it will be even more dangerous and take a lot of victims. before downloading directly on the Playstore, you should visit the official website for safety.

I've seen that lately there's still a lot and a lot of user posting here about fake wallets that being offered in google play.
I really think this is dangerous especially for new users who are interested on cryptocurrency and looking for a good wallet.
I was thinking what could be the possible steps we could do in order for these kind of applications will be remove to playstore is reporting enough?

They should have change their name to Google Fake Store, LMAO.

It is obvious that their platform has been targeted by these scammers, and indeed very dangerous for newbies but sadly Google won't take actions until we report it to them.

It's just an app, very easier to download through playstore and got installed in seconds, as a newbie who would have thought that any danger can await then for download just an app? This is why we must never stop warning newbies, there is no way to safe more people from those scammers than keep sharing warnings on this forum and off this forum too

There is are more easy way to know if a app can be trusted or not inside google playstore

1. Look for bad reviews under the app comments, don't mind the good reviews as scammers can do that themselves
2. Look at the many times the app have been downloaded, if it's a very reliable app it will have over millions downloads
3. If there is no reviews available then something is wrong, that should raise an eyebrow ain't it?

Most very reasonable application have bad review under them. Some people are not calm enough to see if their phone meets the requirements for the app they are installing and when they face issues using the app, they give negative feedbacks... So this cannot totally decide a bad app.
I feel the best way to get an application is from the authorized website of that application. That way one don't fall for cloned application.

What you mean by this:

"And it will ask a full network control in the permission"
